Claims (8)
- 流体を利用して膨張又は収縮されるバルーンと、
前記バルーンの基端部に接合され、内部に前記流体が流通する外側シャフトと、
前記外側シャフトの内部と前記バルーンの内部とに跨がって挿通され、前記バルーンの先端部に接合された内側シャフトとを備え、
前記内側シャフトは、前記バルーンとの接合部よりも基端側に、軸線方向へ伸長可能な伸長部を有することを特徴とするバルーンカテーテル。 - 前記伸長部は、弾性変形により前記軸線方向に伸縮可能な伸縮部であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
- 前記伸縮部は、前記内側シャフトを構成する線材が前記軸線方向に螺旋状に巻回されることで形成されたコイル部であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
- 前記伸長部は、前記バルーンよりも基端側に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
- 前記外側シャフトは、その基端側の部分がそれよりも先端側の部分と比べて拡径された拡径部となっており、
その拡径部の内部に前記伸長部が配設されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のバルーンカテーテル。 - 前記伸長部は、前記拡径部において先端側に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
- 前記バルーンの外周側にて前記バルーンを前記軸線方向に跨いで設けられ、かつ前記バルーンの周方向に所定の間隔で複数配置された線状部材を備え、
前記各線状部材はそれぞれ、その基端部が前記外側シャフトに装着され、その先端部が前記内側シャフトにおいて前記バルーンよりも先端側に延出した延出部に装着されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載のバルーンカテーテル。 - 前記延出部には、その先端から基端側へと延びるガイドワイヤ用のルーメンが形成されており、
前記ルーメンは、その基端側の開口部が前記延出部の外周面にて開口されており、
前記バルーンの外周面上において前記周方向の位置が前記開口部と同位置となる部位を開口側部位とした場合に、その開口側部位を挟んで前記周方向に隣り合う前記線状部材同士の間隔が、前記開口側部位を挟まずに前記周方向に隣り合う前記線状部材同士の間隔よりも大きくなっていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
