Claims (6)
- 管腔内の医学的治療のためのバルーンカテーテルであって、
近位シャフト部分と、前記近位シャフト部分の遠位端に結合されたインナーシャフト部分とを備えるカテーテルであって、前記インナーシャフト部分が前記近位シャフト部分から遠位側に配置されており、第1のルーメンが前記近位シャフト部分の少なくとも一部を通って延び、第2のルーメンが少なくとも前記近位シャフト部分と前記インナーシャフト部分を通って延びるカテーテルと、
近位端と遠位端を備えるバルーンであって、近位端は前記近位シャフト部分の遠位端に取り付けられ、前記遠位端は前記インナーシャフトに取り付けられており、前記バルーンがそれによって前記近位端と前記遠位端の間で前記インナーシャフト部分の少なくとも一部を包囲し、前記第1のルーメンが前記バルーンの内部に露出されているバルーンと、
を備え、
前記バルーンは、前記バルーンと前記カテーテルを体腔に管腔内挿入することを容易にするように前記カテーテル上に折り畳み可能であり、前記カテーテルは、前記第2のルーメンを通してガイドワイヤを延ばすことによって体管腔に挿通可能であり、前記バルーンはそれによって、膨張用媒体を前記第1のルーメンを通過させて前記バルーンの前記内部に入れることによって、前記体腔を拡張させるように膨張可能であり、
前記バルーンの二重壁厚が約0.076mm(約0.003インチ)以下であり、前記インナーシャフト部分がヤング率約586MPa(約85kpsi)以下の弾力性のある材料から製造されており、前記弾力性のある材料はそれによって、前記バルーンが膨張される時、前記インナーシャフト部分が伸びることを可能にし、前記膨張用媒体の圧力による前記バルーンの湾曲を最小限にする、バルーンカテーテル。 - 前記バルーンの前記二重壁厚が約0.064mm(約0.0025インチ)以下であり、前記弾力性のある材料が約379MPa(約55kpsi)以下のヤング率を有する、請求項1に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
- 前記バルーンの前記二重壁厚が約0.051mm(約0.002インチ)以下であり、前記弾力性のある材料が約172PMa(約25kpsi)以下のヤング率を有する、請求項2に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
- 前記インナーシャフト部分は前記近位シャフト部分より直径が小さく、前記インナーシャフト部分は前記近位シャフト部分の断面の一部だけに結合されており、前記第1のルーメンが前記断面の露出されていない部分で開口し、それによって前記バルーンの前記内部に露出されている、請求項1に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
- 前記近位シャフト部分、前記インナーシャフト部分、および前記バルーンが、生体適合性のあるナイロンベースの材料から製造されている、請求項1に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
- 少なくとも2つの放射線不透過性マーカが前記インナーシャフト部分に取り付けられている、請求項1に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
