Abstract
【解決手段】クーラント液を吐出するノズル1は、外ノズル2と、該外ノズル2の内側に配置され、前記外ノズル2の吐出口からクーラントの上流方向へ向けて立設された突出し部材5と、前記外ノズル2の内側に配置され、前記突出し部材5を挿通可能な位置にノズル口を有する内ノズル4と、前記外ノズル2の吐出口と前記内ノズル4の間に配置された弾性体3とを有する。ノズル1において、ノズル口に異物が堆積すると、クーラントの圧力により内ノズル4が弾性体3を圧縮するため内ノズル4が吐出口方向へ移動し、突出し部材5がノズル口を挿通することでノズル口に堆積した異物が自動的に除去される。

Description
本願の請求項5に係る発明は、請求項4に記載のクーラント装置を備えることを特徴とする工作機械である。
図1は本発明の最も基本的な実施の形態におけるノズル1の外形図であり、図2はノズル1の断面図である。図に示すとおり、本実施の形態のクーラントノズルは1、外筒2、弾性体3、内筒4、突き棒5により構成されている。
図7は、ノズル1の先端部分を拡大した図である。図中における矢印は、クーラントの流れを示している。図に示す通り、ノズル1が通常の状態にある場合、すなわちノズル口4cに異物が堆積していない場合は、図に示すクーラントの流路に従って、クーラントは内筒4のノズル口4cを通過し、内筒4、弾性体3の内側を通過して外筒2の吐出口2cから吐出される。
そして、異物6が除去されることでノズル口4cをクーラントが通過できるようになるため、内筒4にかかっていた圧力が低下し、内筒4は弾性体3の反発力に押されることで図中破線矢印方向へと移動して元の位置へ戻り、クーラントの供給が継続される。
このような構成とすることにより、弾性体3周辺に対するクーラントや異物の侵入を防ぐことができるため、弾性体の劣化や動作不良を回避することができるようになる。

Claims (5)
- クーラント液を吐出するノズルであって、
外ノズルと、
該外ノズルの内側に配置され、前記外ノズルの吐出口からクーラントの上流方向へ向けて立設された突出し部材と、
前記外ノズルの内側に配置され、前記突出し部材を挿通可能な位置にノズル口を有する内ノズルと、
前記外ノズルの吐出口と前記内ノズルの間に配置された弾性体とを有し、
前記弾性体が圧縮されると前記突出し部材が前記ノズル口を挿通するように配置されている、
ことを特徴としたノズル。 - 前記外ノズルは、該外ノズルの内側に前記吐出口から前記外ノズルのクーラントの上流方向に向けて立設された内壁を備え、
前記弾性体が、前記外ノズルと前記内壁と前記内ノズルにより密閉された空間に配置されている、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のノズル。 - 前記外ノズルと前記内ノズルとの相対的な位置関係を示すための指標を有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のノズル。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載のノズルを備えることを特徴とするクーラント装置。
- 請求項4に記載のクーラント装置を備えることを特徴とする工作機械。
