Abstract
Description
(1) 医療用インプラントであって、少なくとも第1の材料から構成される複数のシングルストランドを含むように構成され、かつ前記シングルストランドの間に組み込まれた放射線不透過性材料の少なくとも1つのマルチストランドを有する、本体を有する構造体を備え、前記マルチストランドが、実質的に前記マルチストランドの全長にわたって実質的に相互隣接して位置する放射線不透過性材料の少なくとも2つの並列フィラメントを有する、医療用インプラント。
(2) 前記マルチストランドの前記並列フィラメントの各々が、放射線不透過性材料のモノフィラメントである、実施態様1に記載のインプラント。
(3) 医療用インプラントであって、第1の間隔パターン及び第1の壁厚を定める、少なくとも第1の材料から構成される複数のストランドから形成された本体壁部を有する構造体を備え、前記本体壁部が、シングルストランドが散在された放射線不透過性材料の複数のマルチストランドを含み、各マルチストランドが、実質的に相互隣接して位置する放射線不透過性材料の少なくとも2つの並列フィラメントを有し、各マルチストランドが前記第1の間隔パターンから実質的に逸脱することなく、かつ前記第1の壁厚を実質的に変更することなく、前記第1の間隔パターンに加わる、医療用インプラント。
(4) 前記マルチストランドの前記並列フィラメントの各々が、放射線不透過性材料のモノフィラメントである、実施態様3に記載のインプラント。
(5) 前記第1の間隔パターンが、開放編組パターン及び開放製織パターン(open weave pattern)のうちの1つである、実施態様3に記載のインプラント。
複数の支持体(carriers)を提供することであって、各支持体が少なくとも第1の材料から構成されるシングルストランドを有する、ことと、
放射線不透過性材料のマルチストランドを有する少なくとも1つの支持体を提供することであって、前記マルチストランドが実質的に前記マルチストランドの全長にわたって実質的に相互隣接して位置する放射線不透過性材料の少なくとも2つの並列フィラメントを有する、ことと、
前記シングルストランド及び前記マルチストランドの両方を使用してインプラント用に本体を形成することと、を含む、方法。
(7) 前記マルチストランドを有する前記支持体が、前記シングルストランド用の前記支持体と実質的に同一である、実施態様6に記載の方法。
(8) 前記マルチストランドの前記並列フィラメントの各々が、放射線不透過性材料のモノフィラメントである、実施態様7に記載の方法。
(9) 前記本体を形成することが、第1の間隔パターン及び第1の壁厚を定めることを含み、各マルチストランドが、前記第1の間隔パターンから実質的に逸脱することなく、かつ前記第1の壁厚を実質的に変更することなく、前記第1の間隔パターンに加わる、実施態様8に記載の方法。
(10) 前記第1の間隔パターンが、開放編組パターン及び開放製織パターンのうちの1つである、実施態様9に記載の方法。
(12) 複数の支持体を有するインプラント形成機械を改造する方法であって、各支持体が第1の材料及び放射線不透過性材料のうちの少なくとも1つから構成されるシングルストランドを支持するように設計される、方法であって、
シングルストランドを支持するようにそれぞれが設計された前記複数の支持体のうちの少なくとも1つを選択して、前記選択された支持体に放射線不透過性材料のマルチストランドを搭載することであって、前記マルチストランドが、実質的に前記マルチストランドの全長にわたって実質的に相互隣接して位置する放射線不透過性材料の2つの並列フィラメントからなる、ことと、
前記シングルストランド及び前記マルチストランドの両方を使用してインプラント用に本体を形成することと、を含む、方法。
(13) 前記マルチストランドの前記並列フィラメントの各々が、放射線不透過性材料のモノフィラメントである、実施態様12に記載の方法。
(14) 前記本体を形成することが、第1の間隔パターン及び第1の壁厚を定めることを含み、各マルチストランドが、前記第1の間隔パターンから実質的に逸脱することなく、かつ前記第1の壁厚を実質的に変更することなく、前記第1の間隔パターンに加わる、実施態様13に記載の方法。
(15) 前記第1の間隔パターンが、開放編組パターン及び開放製織パターンのうちの1つである、実施態様14に記載の方法。
(17) 前記機械が少なくとも42個の支持体を有し、前記支持体の少なくとも6つが前記放射線不透過性材料のマルチストランドを搭載する、実施態様15に記載の方法。
Claims (17)
- 医療用インプラントであって、少なくとも第1の材料から構成される複数のシングルストランドを含むように構成され、かつ前記シングルストランドの間に組み込まれた放射線不透過性材料の少なくとも1つのマルチストランドを有する、本体を有する構造体を備え、前記マルチストランドが、実質的に前記マルチストランドの全長にわたって実質的に相互隣接して位置する放射線不透過性材料の少なくとも2つの並列フィラメントを有する、医療用インプラント。
- 前記マルチストランドの前記並列フィラメントの各々が、放射線不透過性材料のモノフィラメントである、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 医療用インプラントであって、第1の間隔パターン及び第1の壁厚を定める、少なくとも第1の材料から構成される複数のストランドから形成された本体壁部を有する構造体を備え、前記本体壁部が、シングルストランドが散在された放射線不透過性材料の複数のマルチストランドを含み、各マルチストランドが、実質的に相互隣接して位置する放射線不透過性材料の少なくとも2つの並列フィラメントを有し、各マルチストランドが前記第1の間隔パターンから実質的に逸脱することなく、かつ前記第1の壁厚を実質的に変更することなく、前記第1の間隔パターンに加わる、医療用インプラント。
- 前記マルチストランドの前記並列フィラメントの各々が、放射線不透過性材料のモノフィラメントである、請求項3に記載のインプラント。
- 前記第1の間隔パターンが、開放編組パターン及び開放製織パターンのうちの1つである、請求項3に記載のインプラント。
- 医療用インプラントの製造方法であって、
複数の支持体を提供することであって、各支持体が少なくとも第1の材料から構成されるシングルストランドを有する、ことと、
放射線不透過性材料のマルチストランドを有する少なくとも1つの支持体を提供することであって、前記マルチストランドが実質的に前記マルチストランドの全長にわたって実質的に相互隣接して位置する放射線不透過性材料の少なくとも2つの並列フィラメントを有する、ことと、
前記シングルストランド及び前記マルチストランドの両方を使用してインプラント用に本体を形成することと、を含む、方法。 - 前記マルチストランドを有する前記支持体が、前記シングルストランド用の前記支持体と実質的に同一である、請求項6に記載の方法。
