Abstract
Description
a)石膏、ポルトランドセメント、アルミネートセメント又はそれらの混合物と、1気圧での沸点が175℃を超え、水硬性バインダに対して不活性である無水液体であって、接着及び/又は封止配合物と該配合物の塗布及び乾燥後に得られる最終製品との両方に欠かせない可塑剤(plasticizer:流動化剤)である、無水液体とを含む貯蔵安定性の液体組成物である水硬性バインダ構成要素(module)及び
b)水性液体構成要素
を含むキット・オブ・パーツ(kit-of-parts)として提供される、接着及び/又は封止配合物(formulation)に関する。
本明細書において「水硬性バインダ」という表現は、水と混合してペーストを形成し、そのペーストが一連の水和反応及びプロセスによって凝結及び硬化し、硬化後、水中でもその強度及び安定性が保持される粉末材料を意味することが理解される。
配合物の第1の成分は、水硬性バインダを無水液体、好ましくは液体可塑剤と混合することにより形成される、安定した液体成分又はペースト成分である。最も広範な定義では、可塑剤は、他の物質に添加することで取扱いがより容易であるか又は有用性がより高い混合物をもたらす物質である。この定義の詳細(refinement)では、可塑剤は、本明細書において使用される場合、標準的な室温及び圧力(25℃、1atm)で通常不揮発性であり、特別な化学反応性を有しない有機液体を意味する。そのためこの液体は、水硬性バインダに対して不活性であり、単にバインダを懸濁又は他の方法で分散させ得る媒体として働く。
多様なポリマー材料を配合物の第2の水性成分に組み込むことができる。概して、ポリマー粒子の分散物は、(メタ)アクリル樹脂、ビニル、油変性ポリマー、ポリエステル、ポリウレタン、ポリアミド、塩素化ポリオレフィン、及びそれらの混合物又はコポリマーを含み得る。さらに、上記ポリマーのガラス転移温度(Tg)は通例、−40℃〜70℃である。一実施形態では、或る特定のアクリレート及びブテン系ポリマー等の軟質ポリマーを使用する。このような場合、ポリマーのTgは−35℃〜15℃であるのが好ましい。スチレン系又はメタクリレート系のポリマー等のより硬質のポリマーを使用する場合、Tgは15℃〜60℃、最も好ましくは25℃〜50℃の範囲であるのが好ましい。
本発明の二成分配合物に組み込むことができる添加剤としては、凝結変性剤;石膏水和膨張抑制剤;流動増進ポリマー;消泡剤;脱泡剤;レオロジー改質剤;反応性ポリマー;フィラー、特に炭酸カルシウム、粉砕ドロマイト、及び好ましくは粒度が300ミクロン以下、例えば0.05ミクロン〜300ミクロンのシリカ細粒等の不活性無機フィラー;並びにそれらの混合物が挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。これらの添加剤はその二成分を共混合した後に配合物に添加することができるが、これは配合物の水硬性肥厚に起因して現実的ではない場合がある。そのため、これらの添加剤を二成分の共混合の前に一方又は両方の成分に導入することが好ましい。
十分に確立された技法を用いて、水性成分を、水硬性バインダを含有する液体成分とブレンドすることができる。当然ながらブレンドは手動で行っても又はメカニカルミキサーを用いて行ってもよい。均質なブレンドは例えば、600rpm以上で操作可能な穿孔機を用いて得られる。メカニカルミキサーの利点は、ブレンド配合物を基体への塗布前に一定の又は制御されたせん断下で維持することができることである。
Schoenox SEZは、Schoenox GmbHから入手可能な水硬性バインダである。
RMEは、菜種油のメチルエステル又は「バイオディーゼル」である。
メザモル(登録商標)は、Lanxess Deutschland GmbHから入手可能なフェノールを有するアルキルスルホン酸エステルである。
P2000Eは、Dow Chemicalから入手可能なポリプロピレングリコール(PPG)である。
ハイドロシール(HYDROSEAL)(登録商標) G3Hは、Total Petrochemicals USA, Incから入手可能な引火点が135℃のガス油型脂肪族炭化水素溶媒である。
アクロナル(登録商標) 716 Sは、BASFから入手可能なスチレン/アクリルコポリマー分散液(固形分50%)である。
モビリス(登録商標) 8850は、Clariantから入手可能な酢酸ビニル−エチレンコポリマー分散液(固形分60%)である。
ウカー(UCAR)(商標) DE 454は、Dow Chemicalから入手可能なアクリルエマルション(固形分51%)である。
リパトン(商標) SB 4520は、Synthomer S.r.l.から入手可能なカルボキシル化スチレン−ブタジエンコポリマーの微細分散した水性分散液(固形分51%)である。
ベロール(Berol)(登録商標) EP 25は、Akzo Nobel Surface Chemistry ABから入手可能なアルコールエトキシレート生成物型の非イオン性界面活性剤である。
ピグメントフェルタイラー(Pigmentverteiler) NLは、BASFから入手可能な色素分散液である。
ロシマ(ROCIMA)(登録商標) 520S BIOCIDEは、Rohm & Haas Biocidesから入手可能なクロロメチル−/メチルイソチアゾロン及びブロノポール系の防腐剤である。
1.硬化(cure)状態:材料がジャーの底部にある固体であった場合、該材料は硬化(cured)していると考えられる。
2.収縮:表面が外見的に平らである場合、結果は「陥没なし」と考えられ、表面の僅かな陥没は「−」と表し、表面の重度の陥没は「−−」と表した。
3.硬度はショアA規格を用いて測定した。
4.表面の全体的な外観、特に乾燥亀裂の存在。
Claims (15)
- 接着及び/又は封止配合物の調製用のキット・オブ・パーツであって、
a)石膏、ポルトランドセメント、アルミネートセメント又はそれらの混合物と、1気圧での沸点が175℃を超え、水硬性バインダに対して不活性である無水液体であって、前記接着及び/又は封止配合物と該配合物の塗布及び乾燥後に得られる最終製品との両方に欠かせない可塑剤である、無水液体とを含む貯蔵安定性の液体組成物である水硬性バインダ構成要素及び
b)水性液体構成要素
を含む、キット・オブ・パーツ。 - 前記水性液体構成要素が水と該水中に分散されたポリマーとを含む、請求項1に記載のキット・オブ・パーツ。

- 前記無水液体の1気圧での沸点が200℃を超える、好ましくは225℃を超える、請求項9又は10に記載の貯蔵安定性の液体水硬性バインダ構成要素。
- 25℃での粘度が107mPa・s未満、好ましくは500mPa・s〜5000000mPa・sである、請求項9〜11のいずれか一項に記載の貯蔵安定性の液体水硬性バインダ構成要素。
- 含湿量が前記水硬性バインダの2重量(wt)%未満、好ましくは1重量(wt)%未満である、請求項9〜12のいずれか一項に記載の貯蔵安定性の液体水硬性バインダ構成要素。
- 湿気硬化型反応性ポリマー、好ましくはエトキシシラン基又はメトキシシラン基を有するポリオキシアルキレンを更に含む、請求項9〜13のいずれか一項に記載の貯蔵安定性の液体水硬性バインダ構成要素。
- 前記無水液体が、グリコール及び該グリコールのオリゴマーの安息香酸エステル、1,2−ジカルボキシシクロヘキサンのエステル、フタル酸エステル、テレフタル酸エステル、トリメリット酸エステル、アジピン酸エステル、セバシン酸エステル、酒石酸エステル、クエン酸エステル、植物油及び脂肪酸エステルとエポキシ化植物油とを含む該植物油の誘導体、木材由来の有機液体及びトール油エステルのような他の林産物、鉱油又は流動パラフィン等の炭化水素流体、並びにそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項9〜13のいずれか一項に記載の貯蔵安定性の液体水硬性バインダ構成要素。
