各試験タイヤの重量を測定した。評価結果は、測定値の逆数を用い、従来例を100とする指数にて示した。この指数値が大きいほど軽量であることを意味する。
各試験タイヤをリムサイズ15×6J又は20×5Jのホイールに組み付けて排気量1800ccの前輪駆動車に装着し、空気圧を230kPaとし、全長2kmのテストコースを時速100km/hにて50周走行し、燃料消費率(km/l)を計測した。評価結果は、従来例を100とする指数にて示した。この指数値が大きいほど低燃費性能が優れていることを意味する。
各試験タイヤをリムサイズ15×6J又は20×5Jのホイールに組み付けて排気量1800ccの前輪駆動車に装着し、空気圧を230kPaとし、3名のテストドライバーがそれぞれ全長2kmのテストコースをレーンチェンジしながら3周走行した際の操縦安定性について官能評価を行い、これらテストドライバーによる評価点の平均値を求めた。評価結果は、従来例を100とする指数にて示した。この指数値が大きいほど操縦安定性が優れていることを意味する。

前記一対の第一境界線の相互間において前記トレッドプロファイルに沿って測定されるトレッド展開幅TDWと前記タイヤ総幅SWとの比TDW/SWが0.7≦TDW/SW≦0.95の関係を満足することを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。 - タイヤ赤道面と前記トレッドプロファイルとの交点を通りタイヤ軸方向に対して平行な直線と、前記第一境界線と前記トレッドプロファイルとの交点を通りタイヤ径方向に対して平行な直線との交点と、前記第一境界線と前記トレッドプロファイルとの交点とを結んだ線分の長さにより特定されるトレッド落ち込み量をdとしたとき、このトレッド落ち込み量dと前記トレッド展開幅TDWとの比d/TDWが0.02≦d/TDW≦0.07の関係を満足することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記トレッド部における前記カーカス層の外周側に、タイヤ周方向に対して傾斜する複数本の補強コードを含む少なくとも1層の傾斜補強層を有することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記傾斜補強層のタイヤ幅方向の長さをBWとしたとき、この長さBWと前記トレッド展開幅TDWとの比BW/TDWが0.8≦BW/TDW≦1.2の関係を満足することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記傾斜補強層の補強コードのタイヤ周方向に対する傾斜角度が15°〜60°であることを特徴とする請求項3又は4に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記傾斜補強層のうち、少なくとも1層の傾斜補強層の補強コードがスチールコードであることを特徴とする請求項3〜5のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記傾斜補強層のタイヤ幅方向への長さ50mm当たりの補強コードの打ち込み本数が25本〜50本であることを特徴とする請求項3〜6のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記トレッド部における前記カーカス層の外周側に、タイヤ径方向に積層された複数層の傾斜補強層を有することを特徴とする請求項3〜7のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 比SC/cについて4.0≦SC/c≦8.0の関係を満足することを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記カーカス層に沿ってタイヤ内部及び/又はタイヤ内面に空気透過係数が50×10-12cc・cm/cm2・sec・cmHg以下の空気透過防止層を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記空気透過防止層が熱可塑性樹脂又は熱可塑性樹脂とエラストマーとをブレンドした熱可塑性エラストマー組成物から構成されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
