Description
入力側のドライブピニオンギヤより下方に配置されると共に該ドライブピニオンギヤと噛合するデフリングギヤと、該デフリングギヤに連結されるデファレンシャルギヤと、前記デフリングギヤおよび前記デファレンシャルギヤを収容するケースと、前記ケース内を前記デフリングギヤおよび前記デファレンシャルギヤが配置されるデフ室と作動油を貯留する作動油貯留室とに区画する区画部材とを備える動力伝達装置において、
前記ケースは、前記デフリングギヤの回転軸に直交する平面に平行な第1ケース合わせ面が形成され前記区画部材により前記作動油貯留室が形成される第1ケース部材と、前記第1ケース合わせ面と整合する第2ケース合わせ面が形成され前記区画部材により前記デフ室が形成される第2ケース部材とを有し、
前記区画部材は、前記作動油貯留室の作動油の液面より上方の外縁で前記デフリングギヤの少なくとも歯先が前記作動油貯留室側から見て露出するよう切り掛けた切掛部を有し、
前記デフリングギヤは、掻き上げた作動油に前記作動油貯留室側に向かう運動成分を与える方向のはすば歯車として構成されている、
ことを特徴とする。
Claims (5)
- 入力側のドライブピニオンギヤより下方に配置されると共に該ドライブピニオンギヤと噛合するデフリングギヤと、該デフリングギヤに連結されるデファレンシャルギヤと、前記デフリングギヤおよび前記デファレンシャルギヤを収容するケースと、前記ケース内を前記デフリングギヤおよび前記デファレンシャルギヤが配置されるデフ室と作動油を貯留する作動油貯留室とに区画する区画部材とを備える動力伝達装置において、
前記ケースは、前記デフリングギヤの回転軸に直交する平面に平行な第1ケース合わせ面が形成され前記区画部材により前記作動油貯留室が形成される第1ケース部材と、前記第1ケース合わせ面と整合する第2ケース合わせ面が形成され前記区画部材により前記デフ室が形成される第2ケース部材とを有し、
前記区画部材は、前記作動油貯留室の作動油の液面より上方の外縁で前記デフリングギヤの少なくとも歯先が前記作動油貯留室側から見て露出するよう切り掛けた切掛部を有し、
前記デフリングギヤは、掻き上げた作動油に前記作動油貯留室側に向かう運動成分を与える方向のはすば歯車として構成されている、
ことを特徴とする動力伝達装置。 - 請求項1記載の動力伝達装置であって、
前記切掛部は前記デフリングギヤの歯元が前記作動油貯留室側から見て露出するよう切り掛けられている、
動力伝達装置。 - 請求項1または2記載の動力伝達装置であって、
前記切掛部は、前記区画部材の外縁を、前記デフリングギヤの回転方向からみて該デフリングギヤの底部から90度回転した開口始端部から、開口始端部における前記デフリングギヤの歯元から伸ばした回転方向における接線と前記デフリングギヤの歯先の外周との交点より回転方向に進んだ開口終端部まで、扇型に切り掛けることにより形成されている、
動力伝達装置。 - 請求項1ないし3のうちのいずれか1項に記載の動力伝達装置であって、
前記区画部材は、前記切掛部の上端部に前記第1ケース部材側に突出して上面が前記デフリングギヤの径方向の傾斜をなす突出部を有する、
動力伝達装置。 - 請求項1ないし4のうちのいずれか1項に記載の動力伝達装置であって、
前記デフリングギヤは、前記切掛部において、歯すじが前記デフ室側から前記作動油貯留室側に向けて回転方向に遅れるように形成されたはすば歯車として構成されている、
動力伝達装置。
