Description
変速機からの動力が伝達されるドライブピニオンギヤと噛合するデフリングギヤと、該デフリングギヤに連結されるデフケースを含むデファレンシャルギヤと、前記デフリングギヤおよび前記デファレンシャルギヤを収容するケースと、前記ケース内を前記デフリングギヤおよび前記デファレンシャルギヤが配置されるデフ室と作動油を貯留する作動油貯留室とに区画する区画部材とを備える動力伝達装置において、
前記デフケースは、前記デフリングギヤの回転軸に対して直交する軸上で互いに対向するように形成された一対の開口を有し、
前記区画部材は、前記デフケースの一部を包囲するように形成された筒状部を含み、
前記筒状部は、該筒状部の最下点よりも前記デフリングギヤおよび前記デフケースの主回転方向の進行方向側かつ該筒状部の最上点よりも前記主回転方向の進行方向反対側で開口する排出口を有し、
前記排出口は、前記デフケースの前記回転軸周りの回転に伴って前記一対の開口と対向可能となるように前記筒状部に形成されることを特徴とする。
Claims (4)
- 変速機からの動力が伝達されるドライブピニオンギヤと噛合するデフリングギヤと、該デフリングギヤに連結されるデフケースを含むデファレンシャルギヤと、前記デフリングギヤおよび前記デファレンシャルギヤを収容するケースと、前記ケース内を前記デフリングギヤおよび前記デファレンシャルギヤが配置されるデフ室と作動油を貯留する作動油貯留室とに区画する区画部材とを備える動力伝達装置において、
前記デフケースは、前記デフリングギヤの回転軸に対して直交する軸上で互いに対向するように形成された一対の開口を有し、
前記区画部材は、前記デフケースの一部を包囲するように形成された筒状部を含み、
前記筒状部は、該筒状部の最下点よりも前記デフリングギヤおよび前記デフケースの主回転方向の進行方向側かつ該筒状部の最上点よりも前記主回転方向の進行方向反対側で開口する排出口を有し、
前記排出口は、前記デフケースの前記回転軸周りの回転に伴って前記一対の開口と対向可能となるように前記筒状部に形成されることを特徴とする動力伝達装置。 - 請求項1に記載の動力伝達装置において
前記排出口は、前記回転軸を含む水平面から上端までの距離と、該水平面から下端までの距離とが等しくなるように形成されることを特徴とする動力伝達装置。 - 請求項2に記載の動力伝達装置において、
前記排出口は、前記水平面に対して上下対称の形状を有することを特徴とする動力伝達装置。 - 請求項1から3の何れか一項に記載の動力伝達装置において、
前記筒状部の上部には、作動油を前記ケース内に流入させるための開口部が形成されていることを特徴とする動力伝達装置。
