診療部位位置
専用身体画像化用途
−すべての利用可能なチャネルを用いた両側性画像化。
−すべての利用可能なチャネルを用いた片側性画像化。
−オープンアクセスを提供するために選択されたコイルを用いた介入画像化。
−胸部非圧迫、より良い画像化のために固定するための中央/側面圧迫、胸壁に対する圧迫、又は斜め圧迫を用いた(両側性又は片側性)胸部画像化(圧迫は、画像を向上させるため(即ち、動きを少なくする)や、介入時に動きを減らすため、外科的位置に胸部位置を合致させるため、他の画像位置(超音波、X線、CT)と合致させるために行なう)。
−所望の周波数の他のコイルと交換しながらの画像化−即ち、高い磁場(3.0T)、分光法(Na、C13、F他)又は新規の造影剤に関連した種に合致させること。肺がん画像化の例において、コイルはコントラストを強調させるため水素にチューニングされ、通気サイクルを画像化するために過分極ガスにチューニングしたコイルと交換される。
−コイルを診療部位のサイズにより合致したコイルと交換しての画像化、例えばコイルサイズを胸部サイズに適合させる。
−好ましき画像化用途において、より大きな加速係数を有するコイルと交換しての画像化。
−同一の患者支持体又は専用ストレッチャデザインを保ちながら、MRIで利用可能なより多くのデータチャネル数に対応した新しいコイルとの交換をしての画像化。
−システム全体を置き換える代わりに、機能を有しないコイルを機能を有するコイルに交換しての画像化、又は、極低温冷却コイルの場合に、コイルを寒剤を入れたコイルと交換、又は、無線コイルの場合に、バッテリを充電したコイルとの交換、殺菌コイルの場合に、消毒したコイルとの交換をしての画像化。
−専用身体画像化ストレッチャとテーブルタップを用いた身体用途の画像化と介入。
−専用前立腺ストレッチャとテーブルタップを用いた前立腺用途の画像化と介入。
−・支持構造体から独立したコイルと、
・交換可能なコイルと、
・患者の診療部位近くの種々の位置に設けることが可能なコイルと、
・再位置設定可能な圧迫プレートのような二次構造体に埋め込まれたコイルと、
を備えたRF画像化システムの新規のアーキテクチャ。
−患者支持装置から分離可能なコイルシステムを交換するための技術と機構。
−種々の向きと形状で診療部位を圧迫するのに適した新規の圧迫機構。
−交換自在の圧迫システム。
−・コイルの挿入及び固定と、
・種々の撮像装置に対して透過性を有する膜と、
・介入と画像化装置へのアクセスと、
を可能にする開口を有する圧迫システム。
−ケーブル、誘導カップリング、光伝送、遠隔伝送を含む、コイル信号伝送のための種々のオプションを有する交換自在のコイルシステム。
−ケーブル利用接続又は遠隔接続で、アナログよりデジタル情報を搬送するように、アナログ−デジタル変換能力を集積化した交換自在のコイル。
−ループコイル、バタフライコイル、サドルコイル、対向ソレノイドコイル、そして伝送ラインコイルの組み合わせを有する、高密度に実装されたコイルアレイのための新規のコイル配置。
−最適な患者位置と、支持と、固定化のオプションを提供する二次支持構造体。
−集積化されたRFコイル又はRFコイルを取り付ける手段を有する二次支持構造体。
−ケーブルが患者と接触しないようにしたケーブル配線。
−バッテリが必要なコイルの場合に、外部充電モジュールを用いたコイル充電。
−エネルギー貯蔵装置を充電するために、受信したRFエネルギーを用いるコイル。
−コイルが極低温に冷やされる場合に、外部充填モジュールを用いたコイル寒剤補充。
−より多くのコイルと、より適切なサイズのコイルが患者の診療部位に接近することによるSNRの改善。
−画像化又は介入治療又は診断用画像化用途に対し、ユーザーに柔軟性を与える、平行画像化用途のための異なるコイルシステム。
−患者を同じ体勢で固定したままで、コイルを異なる画像、即ち、1.5T、3.0T、Na、K、C13のために交換する柔軟性のある画像化。
−1つの不良コイルのために、コイルシステム全体を交換する必要がなく、ただ1つのコイルプレート又はコイルエレメントを交換するだけで済むことによるダウンタイムの減少。
−付随するハウジング/患者支持構造体を備えたまったく新しいコイルシステムとは対照的に、コイルシステムの購入すべきサブシステムのみが必要なMRIアップグレードのような、ユーザーがアップグレード可能なシステム。
−患者が装置上の同じ位置に維持されながら、構造体のわずかな変更と共に種々の圧迫形状における胸部画像化をする能力。注入されたMRI造影剤が画像のコントラストを提供している間に画像化する必要があるので、この用途においては時間が決定的に重要である。これが、単一の造影剤注入で種々の圧迫条件におけるコントラスト強調された病変部位を表わす能力につながる。種々の圧迫状態は、以下を含む。
・非圧迫
・中央−側面圧迫
・前方/後方圧迫
・斜め圧迫
・等角固定化と胸部圧迫
−患者が装置上に維持されている間に、圧迫システムとコイルシステムを物理的に除去し、置き換える能力。これが、追加の画像化や介入や治療のための画像化された部位への進化したアクセスを可能にする。これは、専用ストレッチャベースの専用テーブルトップにおいて提供される開口が存在する場合に、可能となる。
1)直接の電気的接続
2)ブラシ又はスライド機構/電気コネクタ
3)磁気誘導コネクタ
4)信号伝送
の1つを用いて、患者支持構造体のRFコイルのアタッチメントからMRIのケーブルに向けて信号の伝送を可能とするRFコイルを有する。
小さい胸部サイズ
中間の胸部サイズ
大きな胸部サイズ
胸壁
のためのコイルを含む、患者の診療部位のサイズに合わせたものになっている。
1)本質的にデカップルされたコイル(垂直バタフライコイルとループコイル)、(種々の伝送線ラインコイルとループコイル)、(伝送線ラインコイルとバタフライコイル)、(多重ループバタフライコイルとループ又は伝送線ラインコイル)を収容した移動自在の側面コイルプレート及び中央コイルプレート。
2)移動自在の側面コイルプレートと、デカップリング回路を用いて互いとデカップルされた実質的に中央左と中央右方向に設けられたコイルを備えた固定された胸骨支持体。
3)固定位置に設けられた側面コイルを有する固定された胸骨支持体。
4)前方コイルを用いた1)、2)、又は3)の配置。
5)後方コイルと開口を用いた1)、2)、又は3)の配置。
6)本質的にデカップルされたコイル(垂直バタフライコイルとループコイル)、(種々の伝送線ラインコイルとループコイル)、(伝送線ラインコイルとバタフライコイル)、(多重ループバタフライコイルとループ又は伝送線ラインコイル)を収容した二つの移動自在の側面コイルプレート及び中央コイルプレート。
7)移動自在の側面コイルプレートと、実質的に中央左又は中央右方向に設けられたコイルを備えた固定された胸骨支持体。
8)固定位置に設けられた側面コイルを有する固定された胸骨支持体。すべてのコイルは、デカップリング回路を用いて互いに対してデカップルされている。
9)前方コイルを用いた1)、2)、又は3)の配置。
10)後方コイルと開口を用いた1)、2)、又は3)の配置。
なお、上記の実施形態について次の付記を記す。
(付記1) 患者を仰向け状態で支持する患者支持構造体と、
前記患者支持構造体と結合してMRI装置に患者の骨盤を固定する第一固定化装置と、
前記患者支持構造体と結合する第二固定化装置と、
患者の身体を導入するように構成された導入用カバーと、
が備えられた患者の骨盤用MRI装置であって、
前記患者支持構造体に対して固定された位置に前記導入用カバーを保持するために、前記導入用カバーが前記第二固定化装置と結合され、そして、
前記患者の骨盤と前記導入カバーとが固定されている間に、前記MRI装置と介入装置とが、選択的に前記導入カバーに挿入される
ことを特徴とする骨盤用MRI装置。
(付記2) 前記導入用カバーが、RFコイルを収容する大きさであることを特徴とする付記1に記載の骨盤用MRI装置。
(付記3) 前記導入用カバーが、直腸内の導入用カバー及び膣内の導入用カバーの少なくとも1つであることを特徴とする付記1に記載の骨盤用MRI装置。
(付記4) 前記第一固定化装置が前方プレートであって、前記前方プレートが、前記患者の骨盤が固定されている間に、患者の画像を撮影するための少なくとも1つのRFコイルを収容するように構成されていることを特徴とする付記1に記載の骨盤用MRI装置。
(付記5) 前記第一固定化装置が後方プレートであって、前記後方プレートが、前記患者の骨盤が固定されている間に、診察対象の画像を撮影するための少なくとも1つのRFコイルを収容するように構成されていることを特徴とする付記1に記載の骨盤用MRI装置。

Claims (8)
- 略同一平面上に設けられた複数の横方向コイルエレメントによって構成された横方向アレイと、
前記横方向アレイと略平行に設けられ、前記横方向アレイと移動自在に結合され、略同一平面上に設けられた複数の中央コイルエレメントによって構成された中央アレイと、
を備えているMRI胸部画像化のためのRFコイルであって、
前記横方向コイルエレメントと前記中央コイルエレメントによって形成される磁場が、診察対象において略直交していることを特徴とするRFコイル。 - 前記横方向コイルエレメントが、ループコイルエレメントによって構成され、前記中央コイルエレメントがバタフライコイルエレメントによって構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のRFコイル。
- 前記RFコイルには、第二横方向アレイと第二中央アレイが更に設けられ、
前記第二横方向アレイが、複数の第二ループコイルエレメントで構成され、
前記第二中央アレイが、複数の第二バタフライコイルエレメントで構成され、
前記第二バタフライエレメントには、それぞれ第一ループと第二ループが設けられている
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のRFコイル。 - 前記第一バタフライコイルエレメント及び前記第二バタフライコイルエレメントには、それぞれ略等しい大きさの第一ループと第二ループとが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のRFコイル。
- 前記第一ループ及び前記第二ループの1つが、前記第一ループ及び前記第二ループの第二ループより大きいことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のRFコイル。
- 前記第一バタフライコイルエレメント及び前記第二バタフライコイルエレメントのそれぞれが、90度曲げられて、前記中央アレイがU字状とされることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のRFコイル。
- 前記第一中央アレイ及び前記第二中央アレイが、1つのコンポーネントとして集約されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のRFコイル。
- 前記横方向アレイには、画像化される胸部にアクセスするための開口部が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のRFコイル。
