Abstract
【解決手段】空気調和機は、複数の単位流路に区画された室外熱交換機を含み、複数の単位流路のうちの少なくとも2つの単位流路が、冷房運転を行うか、暖房運転を行うかによって互いに直列または並列に連結されることによって、冷媒が通過する流路の個数または長さを変えることができる。流路の個数または長さが適当に選択されて利用されるので、効率を向上させることができる。

Description
空気調和機は、冷媒を圧縮、凝縮、膨脹、蒸発させる過程を遂行して、室内空間を冷房または暖房する装置である。空気調和機は、室外機に1台の室外機が連結される通常の空気調和機、または室外機に複数個の室外機が連結されるマルチ空気調和機に分けられる。このような空気調和機は、圧縮機、凝縮機、膨脹バルブ、及び蒸発機を含む。圧縮機から吐出された冷媒は、凝縮機で凝縮された後、膨脹バルブで膨脹する。膨脹した冷媒は蒸発機で蒸発した後、圧縮機に吸い込まれる。

Claims (10)
- 空気調和機であって、
複数の単位流路に区画された冷媒流路と、
暖房運転時に前記複数の単位流路のうちの少なくとも2つの単位流路を互いに並列に連結し、冷房運転時に前記複数の単位流路のうちの少なくとも2つの単位流路を互いに直列に連結するように切り換える流路切換部を有する熱交換機と、
前記流路切換部を制御する制御機と、
を含む空気調和機において、
前記熱交換機は、
暖房運転時において、前記熱交換機に流入する冷媒が並列に連結された前記複数の単位流路のうちの少なくとも2つの単位流路に各々流入するように前記複数の単位流路のうちの少なくとも2つの単位流路の一方の側を互いに並列に連結する第1並列連結流路と、
暖房運転時において、並列に連結された前記複数の単位流路のうちの少なくとも2つの単位流路を各々通過した冷媒が集められて吐出されるように前記複数の単位流路のうちの少なくとも2つの単位流路の他方の側を互いに並列に連結する第2並列連結流路と、
前記複数の単位流路のうち、少なくとも2つの単位流路のうちの1つの単位流路を通過した冷媒が直列に連結された他の単位流路の入り口側を通過するように前記複数の単位流路のうちの少なくとも2つの単位流路を互いに直列に連結する直列連結流路と、
前記第1並列連結流路で前記複数の単位流路に対応するように各々配置され、暖房運転時において、冷媒を前記複数の単位流路に案内する複数の分配機と、
前記第2並列連結流路で前記複数の単位流路に対応するように各々配置され、暖房運転時において、前記複数の単位流路を通過した冷媒が吐出される複数のヘッダと、を含み、
前記複数の単位流路のうちの一部の単位流路を室外熱交換機の負荷によって選択的に使用することを特徴とする空気調和機。 - 前記流路切換部は、
冷房運転時に前記直列連結流路を開放し、暖房運転時に前記直列連結流路を閉鎖する直列連結バルブを含む、請求項1に記載の空気調和機。 - 前記流路切換部は、
前記第1並列連結流路に配置されて、冷房運転時において、前記複数の単位流路のうちの1つの単位流路を通過した冷媒が他の単位流路の出口側に逆流することを防止する逆流遮断用バルブを含む、請求項1に記載の空気調和機。 - 前記流路切換部は、
前記第2並列連結流路に配置されて、冷房運転時において、前記複数の単位流路のうちの1つの単位流路に流入する冷媒が他の単位流路の入口側に逆流することを防止する逆流遮断用バルブを含む、請求項1に記載の空気調和機。 - 前記流路切換部は、
前記第2並列連結流路に配置されて、冷房運転時に前記第2並列連結流路を閉鎖し、暖房運転時に前記第2並列連結流路を開放する並列連結バルブを含む、請求項1に記載の空気調和機。 - 前記流路切換部は、
前記第1並列連結流路及び前記直列連結流路の連結地点に配置されて、冷房運転を行うか、暖房運転を行うかによって、流路を切り換える四方バルブを含む、請求項1に記載の空気調和機。 - 前記流路切換部は、
前記直列連結流路に配置されて、予め設定された基準負荷範囲の冷房運転時に前記直列連結流路を開放し、前記基準負荷範囲を超過する低温冷房運転時に前記直列連結流路を閉鎖する直列連結バルブを含む、請求項1に記載の空気調和機。 - 前記流路切換部は、
前記第1並列連結流路で前記複数の単位流路のうちの1つの単位流路側に配置されて、低温冷房運転時において、前記単位流路を通過した冷媒が前記第1並列連結流路を通じて吐出されるように前記第1並列連結流路の出口側を開放する第1並列連結バルブを含む、請求項7に記載の空気調和機。 - 前記流路切換部は、
前記第1並列連結流路で他の単位流路側に配置されて、低温冷房運転時において、前記複数の単位流路のうちの1つの単位流路を通過した冷媒が他の単位流路側に流れることを防止する第2並列連結バルブを含む、請求項8に記載の空気調和機。 - 前記複数の単位流路の流路長は全て同一である、請求項1に記載の空気調和機。
