Abstract
【解決手段】蓋板の周縁に蓋板平面に直交する枠片を備えるので、蓋板の厚さを薄くして密閉型電池を軽量化しても、内圧により外方に湾曲しにくい剛性が得られ、ケース本体の開口部へ蓋板を嵌合する際にも湾曲せずに高精度に蓋板の外形が維持されるので、開口部へ強嵌合させることができる。蓋板は、開口部に強嵌合されると共に、開口部の内壁面と枠片の間の充分に長い溶接しろでレーザー溶接されるので、強固に隙間なくケース本体に固定される。

Claims (5)
- 発電要素を収容した金属製のケース本体と、前記ケース本体の開口部に嵌合する金属製の蓋板の周縁をレーザー溶接し、前記ケース本体の開口部を前記蓋板で気密封止した密閉型電池において、
前記蓋板は、前記蓋板の周縁に前記蓋板の平面に直交する枠片を一体に備え、
前記枠片を前記開口部の内壁面に沿って圧入し、
圧接する前記枠片と前記内壁面との境界に沿ってレーザー溶接することを特徴とする密閉型電池。 - 前記枠片の外側面に、前記枠片を前記内壁面に沿って圧入する際に、前記開口部の開口縁に当接して前記枠片を前記開口部の内側へ案内する傾斜面が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の密閉型電池。
- 前記蓋板の周縁は、長方形であり、
前記蓋板の平面及び/又は背面に、長方形の長手方向と短手方向に沿った複数のリブが形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の密閉型電池。 - 前記蓋板に、ケース本体内の内圧が一定値に達した際に破断する薄肉部を有する防爆弁が一体に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の密閉型電池。
- 薄板の金属板をプレス加工して、前記蓋板に前記枠片と前記防爆弁を形成することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の密閉型電池。
