Abstract
【解決手段】電動モータ130におけるU相,V相及びW相の各相コイルがスター結線された中性点132と、中性点132に接続された中性点駆動回路50と、を接続する中性点駆動ライン32に、中性点駆動ライン32を開閉するNチャネル型MOSFETなどの遮断リレー51を配設する。そして、インバータ回路1及びプリドライバ回路2により電動モータ130を正常に駆動できるとき、遮断リレー51により中性点駆動ライン32を遮断する。このようにすれば、各相コイルの駆動系に異常が発生して中性点132に想定外の電流が流入しても、これが中性点駆動回路50に流れることがなく、例えば、中性点駆動回路50に流れる電流値からその故障を診断する診断方法に影響が及ばない。

Description
図1は、車両に搭載された電動パワーステアリング装置の一例を示す。
イグニッションスイッチがオンになると、電源IC5からマイクロコンピュータ6に平滑化された作動電圧が供給されると共に、昇圧回路9に電源電圧が供給される。マイクロコンピュータ6は、作動電圧の供給を受けて起動し、アシスト用モータ130を駆動するための制御プログラムを実行する。また、昇圧回路9により所定電圧に昇圧された電源電圧は、プリドライバ回路2のH側ドライバ2UH,2VH,2WH及び2H並びにL側ドライバ2UL,2VL,2WL及び2L、ドライバ7,8U,8V,8W及び52に夫々供給される。
第3実施形態に係る制御装置140は、アシスト用モータ130の中性点132の駆動系、具体的には、中性点駆動回路50のMOSFET50H及び50L、並びに、遮断リレー51に異常が発生した場合に対処する。このため、中性点駆動回路50のMOSFET50LのソースとグランドGNDとの間には、中性点駆動回路50のMOSFET50H及び50Lに流れる電流を検出する電流検出器53が配設される。そして、電流検出器53で検出された電流値は、例えば、図示しない増幅器などで増幅され、マイクロコンピュータ6へと出力される。
第4実施形態に係る制御装置140は、アシスト用モータ130の中性点駆動ライン32の異常、具体的には、中性点駆動回路50と遮断リレー51との間に位置する中性点駆動ライン32に地絡が発生した場合に対処する。このため、中性点駆動回路50と遮断リレー51との間に位置する中性点駆動ライン32には、中性点駆動ライン32を流れる電流を検出する電流検出器54が配設される。そして、電流検出器54で検出された電流値は、例えば、図示しない増幅器などで増幅され、マイクロコンピュータ6へと出力される。

Claims (5)
- 複数の相コイルがスター結線された電動モータを駆動する駆動回路と、
前記スター結線の中性点に接続された中性点駆動回路と、
前記中性点と前記中性点駆動回路とを接続する電路を遮断する半導体リレーと、
前記駆動回路により前記電動モータを正常に駆動できるとき、前記半導体リレーにより前記電路を遮断する第1の制御手段と、
を有することを特徴とする電動モータの制御装置。 - 前記半導体リレーにより前記電路が遮断されているとき、前記中性点駆動回路又は前記電路の異常を診断する診断手段を、更に有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電動モータの制御装置。
- 前記中性点駆動回路に異常が発生していると診断されたとき、前記半導体リレーにより前記電路を遮断する第2の制御手段を、更に有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電動モータの制御装置。
- 前記電路に異常が発生していると診断されたとき、前記半導体リレーによる前記電路の遮断を中止すると共に、前記中性点駆動回路の出力を低電圧に切り替える第3の制御手段を、更に有することを特徴とする請求項2又は請求項3に記載の電動モータの制御装置。
- 前記電動モータ、前記駆動回路及び前記半導体リレーが多重化されると共に、前記中性点駆動回路が各半導体リレーに夫々接続された、ことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項4のいずれか1つに記載の電動モータの制御装置。
