ISONATE*125M The Dow Chemical Companyから入手可能な、4,4’−メチレンジフェニルジイソシアネート(ピュアMDI)に基づくイソシアネート。
ISONATE*OP50 The Dow Chemical Companyから入手可能な、2.0の官能価および125g/当量の当量を有する、50パーセントの4,4’−メチレンジフェニルイソシアネート、50パーセントの2,4’−メチレンジフェニルイソシアネート混合物。
VORANATE*M229 The Dow Chemical Companyから入手可能なPMDI(ポリメリックMDI)。
*ISONATE、SPECFLEX、VORANATEおよびVORANOLは、The Dow Chemical Companyの登録商標である。
まず、ISONATE 125M(27,5重量部)、ISONATE OP50(36,2重量部)およびVORANATE M229(26,8重量部)を混和し、ドラムローラー内で30分間混合することによってイソシアネート成分を調製する。次いで、混合しながらポリオール、VORANOL*CP1421(9.5重量部)を加えることによって、プレポリマーを形成する。その反応は、リアクターの内部を60分間にわたって70℃に加熱することによって完了する。
イソシアネート成分を表2に列挙されるポリオール成分と混和することによって、発泡体を調製する。イソシアネート成分およびポリオール成分の計量および適切な分配のために高圧機器を使用するワンショットプロセスによって、ポリウレタン発泡体を生成する。それらの成分を、25℃で維持し、160barにおいて混合ヘッド(FPL 14”混合ヘッド)に移し、250g/sで型に移す。70というイソシアネートインデックスで発泡体を生成する。アルミニウムの型およびエポキシの型を使用し、それらは、35〜50℃の温度に設定された水再循環によって加熱され、溶媒系離型剤で処理されることにより、離型される。離型時間は、4〜5分に固定される。物理的力学的特性を、表1の試験方法に従って試験した:
b表面のすぐ下に約3個のセルの厚さを有する層は、より小さいセルサイズ:0.75〜1.2mmを有する。
c開口が多数あるため、実際には表面ではない。しかしながら、表面は、やはりセル壁のちょうどの厚さである。表面下のより小さいセルは、比較実施例Bよりも表面の下でさらに拡大する。
d究極的な表面は、ただ1個のセル壁厚さであるが、小さいセルサイズ(50〜150μm)を有する薄い表面下層(均一な表皮、150〜250μm厚)が存在する。これにより、「表皮」がより厚くおよび/またはより強くなり、ならびに離型力に対して抵抗性になる。これらのより小さい非常に近い表面下のセルが存在するおかげで、この発泡体のより優良な触感に関与するより滑らかな表面がもたらされる。それらのサンプルは、DSCによって測定されたとき、2つの非常によく似たTgを有する:第1はおよそ−60℃および第2はおよそ−30℃。
Claims (10)
- (a)
(i)1300〜1700の総数平均当量、ポリオキシプロピレンとポリオキシエチレンとの総量のうちの75重量%〜95重量%のポリオキシエチレンパーセンテージ、およびポリオキシエチレンキャップドポリオキシプロピレン/ポリオキシエチレンポリオールのOH基の総数のうちの80〜95%の一級OHパーセンテージを有する、イソシアネート反応性成分の25〜80重量%の少なくとも1つのポリオキシエチレンキャップドポリオキシプロピレン/ポリオキシエチレンポリオール;
(ii)1.5〜2.5の官能価、500〜1500の総数平均当量および40〜70のOH数を有する、該イソシアネート反応性成分の5〜30重量%の少なくとも1つの低官能価ポリオール
を含むイソシアネート反応性成分;
(b)イソシアネート成分;
(c)1つ以上の発泡剤;
(d)触媒成分;および
(e)シリコーン系界面活性剤
を含む、粘弾性ポリウレタン発泡体を調製するための反応系。 - 前記イソシアネート反応性成分がさらに:
(iii)4〜6の平均官能価、4000〜6000の総数平均分子量および25〜45のOH数を有する、該イソシアネート反応性成分の5〜30重量%の少なくとも1つのポリオキシエチレンキャップドポリオキシプロピレンポリオール
を含む、請求項1記載の反応系。 - 前記イソシアネート反応性成分がさらに:
(iv)200〜400の総数平均当量および175〜275のOH数を有する、イソシアネート反応性成分の2〜20重量%の少なくとも1つのトリオール
を含む、請求項1または2記載の反応系。 - 前記1つ以上の発泡剤が水を含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載の反応系。
- ポリイソシアネート成分(a)が、イソシアネート末端プレポリマーを含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項記載の反応系。
- 前記プレポリマーが、ポリオールおよび,4’−メチレンジフェニルイソシアネートと4,4’−メチレンジフェニルジイソシアネートと高分子メチレンジフェニルジイソシアネートとの混合物の反応産物を含む、請求項5記載の反応系。
- 請求項1〜6記載の反応系のいずれか1つの反応産物を含む、ポリウレタン発泡体。
- 前記ポリウレタン発泡体が、成形されており、100〜300μm厚の厚さを有する表皮を備える、請求項7記載のポリウレタン発泡体。
- 前記表皮が、150〜250μmの厚さを有する、請求項8記載のポリウレタン発泡体。
- 前記表皮が、50〜150μmの直径を有するポリウレタンセルを含む、請求項8および9のいずれか1項記載のポリウレタン発泡体。
