H2O+CO ⇔ H2+CO2
第一の試験において、24.0mol%の水素、41.3mol%のCO、4.2mol%のCO2、1.4mol%の不活性物(Ar+N2)および29.1mol%のH2O(対応する蒸気:CO比0.70)からなる送給ガスを、35bargおよび30,000Nm3/m3/hr−1のGHSVで、破砕したカタルコJMK8−11サワーシフト触媒の床(粒径範囲0.2〜0.4mm)に通過させた。この試験には、250℃および500℃の2つの別個の温度を順次用いた。窒素中1mol%のH2Sおよび10mol%のH2を含有する送給において試験する前に、触媒を予め硫化した。
チタニア担体は、1M NaOHを加えたTiCl3の1M溶液(最終pH9)の沈殿により調製した。得られた沈殿物を洗浄し、真空濾過し、乾燥させ、最後に400℃で12時間、空中で焼成した。その後、標的金属負荷を実現するために、得られた粉末状TiO2担体に、適切な濃度のCo(NO3)2および(NH4)6Mo7O24を含有する溶液を共含浸させた。含浸の後、結果として生じた触媒前駆体を乾燥させ、400℃で4時間焼成した。結果として生じた触媒は、4wt%のCoOおよび8wt%のMoO3を含有していた。この触媒を、実施例1において指定されたものと同じ条件下で試験した。取得された結果をここでも表1において報告する。
CoおよびMoを含有する焼成された触媒に対してさらなる含浸ステップを行ったことを除き、実施例2において概説した調製経路(routed)を繰り返した。これは、1wt%のK2Oプロモータを導入するために為された。このステップには、適切な濃度のKNO3溶液を使用した。カリウム含浸の後、触媒を乾燥させ、400℃で4時間焼成した。この触媒を、実施例1において指定された条件下で試験した。取得された結果を表1において報告する。
カリウムレベルを5wt%のK2Oに増大させたことを除き、実施例3において概説した調製経路を繰り返した。結果として生じた触媒を、実施例1において指定された条件下で試験し、取得された結果を表1において報告する。
カリウムレベルを14wt%のK2Oに増大させたことを除き、実施例3において概説した調製経路を繰り返した。結果として生じた触媒を、実施例1において指定された条件下で試験し、取得された結果をここでも表1において報告する。
最終焼成温度を500℃に増大させたことを除き、実施例4において概説した調製経路を繰り返した。結果として生じた触媒を、ここでも実施例1において指定された条件下で試験し、取得された結果を表1において報告する。
チタニアコーティング触媒担体は、次の通りに調製した。担体は、128gのチタン酸テトライソプロピル(ヴァーテック(VERTEC)(商標)TIPT)を1000gのイソプロパノール中で希釈し、次いで、400gのガンマアルミナ(プラロックス(Puralox)(商標)HP14/150、サソール(Sasol)から入手可能)と、ロータリーエバポレータ内、45℃で30分間混合することによって調製した。次いで、温度を90℃に増大させ、真空を印加することによって、イソプロパノールを除去した。得られた粒子を、120℃で15時間乾燥させた後、400℃で8時間焼成した。担体は、アルミナの重量に基づき5.4%のTiを含有していた。
チタニアコーティング触媒担体は、次の通りに調製した。400gのプラロックス(商標)HP14/150アルミナを、2500gの脱イオン水中で希釈した138gの76%乳酸チタン水溶液の溶液と30分間混合した。192gの14%アンモニア溶液を使用して、得られたスラリーをpH9.5に調整した。次いで、固体を真空濾過によって除去し、水中で再スラリー化し、2リットルの脱イオン水で2回洗浄した。得られた粒子を、120℃で15時間乾燥させた後、400℃で8時間焼成した。担体は、アルミナの重量に基づき5.4%のTiを含有していた。
さらなる試験において、5000ppmのH2S、20.6mol%の水素、35.5mol%のCO、3.6mol%のCO2、1.2mol%の不活性物(Ar+N2)および39.1mol%のH2O(対応する蒸気:CO比1.1)からなる送給ガスを、35bargおよび30,000Nm3/m3/hr−1のGHSVで、破砕したカタルコJMK8−11サワーシフト触媒の床(粒径範囲0.2〜0.4mm)に通過させた。試験は450℃で行い、窒素中1mol%のH2Sおよび10mol%のH2を含有する送給で試験する前に、触媒を予め硫化した。
チタニアコーティング触媒担体は、MgO−Al2O3粉末の存在下、NaOHを加えたTiCl3(最終pH9)の沈殿により調製した。得られたスラリーを脱塩水で洗浄し、真空濾過し、乾燥させ、次いで500℃で4時間、空中で焼成した。担体は、38wt%のTiO2を含有していた。標的金属負荷を実現するために、得られた粉末に、適切な負荷のCo(NO3)2および(NH4)6Mo7O24を含有する溶液を含浸させた。含浸の後、触媒前駆体を乾燥させ、500℃で4時間、空中で焼成した。
50m2/gの表面積を持つ市販のチタニア粉末を使用して、標的金属負荷を実現するためのCo(NO3)2および(NH4)6Mo7O24の含浸により、触媒を調製した。含浸の後、結果として生じた触媒前駆体を乾燥させ、次いで500℃で4時間焼成した。得られた触媒は、4wt%のCoOおよび8wt%のMoO3を含有していた。含浸、乾燥および焼成ステップを、KNO3を使用して繰り返して、6wt%のK2Oの負荷を実現した。この触媒を、実施例9において指定されたものと同じ条件下で試験し、取得された結果を表2において報告する。
チタニアコーティング触媒担体は、MgO−Al2O3押し出し物に、n−プロパノール中のチタンテトライソ−プロポキシドの溶液を含浸させることにより調製した。担体を105℃で4時間、空中で乾燥させ、400℃で4時間、空中で焼成した。最終TiO2負荷は4.5wt%であった。標的金属負荷を実現するために、調製された押し出し物にCo(NO3)2および(NH4)6Mo7O24を含浸させた。触媒を乾燥させ、次いで500℃で4時間、空中で焼成した。KNO3を用いて第二の含浸を行い、続いて再度乾燥させ、次いで500℃で4時間、空中で焼成した。実現された最終負荷は、2wt%のCoO、8wt%のMoO3および5wt%のK2Oであった。この触媒を、実施例9において指定されたものと同じ条件下で試験した。取得された結果を表2において報告する。
Claims (22)
- サワー水性ガスシフトプロセスでの使用に適した触媒を調製するための触媒前駆体であって、チタニア触媒担体上に担持された、
5から30重量%の酸化タングステンおよび酸化モリブデンから選択される触媒活性金属酸化物と、
1から10重量%の酸化コバルトおよび酸化ニッケルから選択されるプロモータ金属酸化物と、
1から15重量%のナトリウム、カリウムおよびセシウムから選択されるアルカリ金属の酸化物と
を含む、触媒前駆体。 - 前記触媒活性金属酸化物が酸化モリブデンである、請求項1に記載の触媒前駆体。
- 前記プロモータ金属酸化物が酸化コバルトである、請求項1または請求項2に記載の触媒前駆体。
- 前記アルカリ金属酸化物が酸化カリウムである、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の触媒前駆体。
- 前記触媒活性金属酸化物が、5から15重量%、好ましくは5から10重量%の範囲内の量で存在する、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の触媒前駆体。
- 前記プロモータ金属酸化物が、2から7重量%の範囲内の量で存在する、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の触媒前駆体。
- 前記アルカリ金属酸化物が、5から15重量%の範囲内の量で存在する、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の触媒前駆体。
- 前記チタニア触媒担体が、バルクチタニア触媒担体またはチタニアコーティング担体である、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の触媒前駆体。
- 前記バルクチタニア触媒担体が、85%wt以上のチタニア、好ましくは90%wt以上のチタニア、より好ましくは95%wt以上のチタニアを含む、請求項8に記載の触媒前駆体。
- 前記コーティングチタニア触媒担体が、2から40%wtのチタニアをコア材料上の表面層として含む、請求項8に記載の触媒前駆体。
- 前記コア材料が、多孔性担体または非多孔性担体である、請求項10に記載の触媒前駆体。
- 前記触媒活性金属の少なくとも一部が、一種以上の金属硫化物の形態である、請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の硫化触媒前駆体を含む触媒。
- 請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の触媒前駆体を調製する方法であって、(i)チタニア触媒担体に、タングステンおよびモリブデンの化合物から選択される触媒活性金属化合物ならびにコバルトおよびニッケルの化合物から選択されるプロモータ金属化合物を含む溶液を含浸させるステップと、(ii)前記含浸させたチタニア担体を乾燥させ、場合により焼成して第一の材料を形成するステップと、(iii)前記第一の材料に、ナトリウム、カリウムおよびセシウムの化合物から選択されるアルカリ金属化合物の溶液を含浸させるステップと、(iv)前記含浸させた材料を乾燥させ、焼成して、焼成された第二の材料を形成するステップとを含む方法。
- 前記チタニア触媒担体が、チタン化合物をアルカリ金属化合物で沈殿させ、場合により前記沈殿物を水で洗浄してアルカリ金属化合物を除去し、前記洗浄された材料を乾燥させ、焼成することによって調製される、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記チタニア触媒担体が、コア材料の表面をチタン化合物でコーティングし、前記コーティングされた材料を加熱して、前記チタン化合物をチタニアに変換することによって調製される、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記第一の材料のウォッシュコートを調製するステップと、前記ウォッシュコートをコア材料に塗布するステップと、次いで、前記ウォッシュコーティングされた第一の材料をアルカリ金属の溶液の含浸前に乾燥させ、焼成するステップとを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記焼成された第二の材料を形成するための焼成が、450〜800℃、好ましくは475〜600℃の範囲内の温度で実施される、請求項13から16のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記焼成された第二の材料が粉末である場合、前記第二の焼成された材料をペレットまたは押し出し物に成形するステップをさらに含む、請求項13から17のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の、または請求項13から18のいずれか一項に記載の方法に従って調製される通りの触媒前駆体を、硫化用化合物で硫化するステップを含む、請求項12に記載の触媒を調製する方法。
- 前記硫化するステップが、硫化水素を含むガスを用いて実施される、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 水素、蒸気、一酸化炭素および二酸化炭素を含み、かつ一種以上の硫黄化合物を含む合成ガスを、請求項12に記載の、または請求項19もしくは20に従って調製される通りの触媒と接触させるステップを含む、水性ガスシフトプロセス。
- 前記合成ガス中における前記蒸気対一酸化炭素のモル比が、0.5から1.8:1の範囲内である、請求項21に記載のプロセス。
