Abstract
Description
酸化アルミニウム、
任意に酸化ケイ素及びアルミノシリケート、並びに、
任意に1種又はそれ以上のドーパント。
前記アルミナは、1グラム当たり約100〜約500平方メートルの比表面積を有し、900℃で2時間焼成後の総細孔体積が1グラム当たり1.2立方センチメートル以上であり、ここで総細孔体積の15%以下は10nm未満の直径を有する細孔によって寄与される。
(a)本発明の第一の側面による多孔性アルミナ、及び
(b)硫黄に耐性があり、高い表面積、高い細孔体積の多孔性アルミナの上に拡散した貴金属
約4〜6未満のpHにおいて水性の媒体中でアルミニウム水和物粒子のスラリーを形成する工程、
約8〜11未満のpHに水性の媒体中でアルミニウム水和物粒子のスラリーのpHを調節する工程、
アルミニウム水和物粒子を水性の媒体から単離する工程、
単離した酸化アルミニウム粒子を乾燥させる工程、
乾燥した酸化アルミニウム粒子を焼成して、高い表面積、高い細孔体積の多孔性アルミナを形成する工程。
約60〜約98質量部の酸化アルミニウム、
約2〜約40質量部の酸化ケイ素、並びに、
任意に、遷移金属酸化物、希土類元素酸化物及びこれらの混合物から選ばれる1種又はそれ以上のドーパントを含む。
約60〜約98質量部の酸化アルミニウム、
約2〜約40質量部の酸化ケイ素、並びに、
遷移金属酸化物、希土類元素酸化物及びこれらの混合物から選ばれる1種又はそれ以上の0より大きい質量部のドーパントを含む。
約100〜約500cm2/g、より典型的には約150〜約400cm2/gの比表面積、及び、
1.2cm3/g以上、より典型的には1.25cm3/g以上、及び更に典型的には1.3cm3/g以上の総細孔体積。
ここで:
総細孔体積の50%以下、より典型的には、総細孔体積の40%以下は、20nm未満の直径を有する細孔によって寄与される。
約100〜約500cm2/g、より典型的には約150〜約400cm2/gの比表面積、及び、
1.2cm3/g以上、より典型的には1.25cm3/g以上、及び更に典型的には1.3cm3/g以上の総細孔体積。
ここで:
総細孔体積の15%以下、より典型的には総細孔体積の10%以下、及び更に典型的には総細孔体積の6%以上は、10nm未満の直径を有する細孔によって寄与される。
約100〜約500cm2/g、より典型的には約150〜約400cm2/gの比表面積、及び
1.2cm3/g以上、より典型的には1.25cm3/g以上、及び更に典型的には1.3cm3/g以上の総細孔体積、
ここで:
総細孔体積の50%以下、より典型的には総細孔体積の40%以下は、20nm未満の直径を有する細孔によって寄与され、また、
総細孔体積の15%以下、より典型的には総細孔体積の10%以下、及び更に典型的には総細孔体積の6%以上は、10nm未満の直径を有する細孔によって寄与される。
代替として、アルミナ微粒子はペレット又は押出物(extradite)(例えば円筒形)の形状とすることができる。
サイズ及び特定の形は、想定される特定の用途により決定される。
[例1並びに比較例C1及びC2]
6.02gの溶液Aを反応器に導入し5分以上撹拌した。次いで、溶液Aを更に添加することなく、反応器の内容物を5分間撹拌した。続いて反応器内容物を撹拌しながら、溶液A及びBを反応器に同時にフィードした。この同時のフィードの最初の5分間、溶液A及びBのそれぞれの流量を調節し、スラリーのpHが5分間に3から7.3まで増加した。続いてpHがpH7.3で安定するまで、溶液Bの流量を減らした。pH7.3でpHを安定させ、溶液A及びBを30分間連続的に加えた。pH7.3においてこの30分間の後に、溶液Aのフィードを止め、溶液Bを連続的にフィードし、反応器内容物のpHを増大させた。溶液Aのフィードをやめて10分後、溶液Bのフィードを止めた。その点において、反応器内容物はpH9であり、それまでに総量143gの溶液A及び総量113gの溶液Bを反応器に入れたこととなった。続いて、反応器内容物を連続的に撹拌しながら、34.2gの溶液Cを反応器にフィードした。続いて、ブフナー漏斗で60℃の脱イオン水を用いて濾過、洗浄し、反応器内容物は湿ったフィルタ塊を形成した。洗浄水の体積は、反応器中の水性の媒体の体積に等しかった。水1リットル当たり120gの重炭酸アンモニウムが溶解した溶液を用意し、60℃まで加熱した。湿ったフィルタ塊は、反応器中の水性の媒体の体積と等しい体積の重炭酸アンモニウム溶液を用いて洗浄し、続いて60℃の同じ体積の脱イオン水を用いて洗浄した。結果として生じる湿ったフィルタ塊を、続いて脱イオン水の中に分散し、約10質量%の固体を含むスラリーを得た。続いて、スラリーを乾燥噴霧して、乾燥粉体を得た。続いて、噴霧乾燥した粉体を異なる温度で焼成した。比表面積(“SA”)(1グラム当たりの平方メートル(“m2/g”)で表される)、細孔体積(1グラム当たりの立方センチメートル(“cm3/g”)で表される)、及び平均細孔直径(ナノメートル(“nm”)で表される)を、下記の表Iにおいて、最初の焼成温度(摂氏度(“℃”)で表される)及び時間(時間(“h”)で表される)の関数として報告する。

Claims (17)
- 高い表面積、高い細孔体積の多孔性アルミナであって、
酸化アルミニウム、
任意に酸化ケイ素及びアルミノケイ酸塩、及び、
任意に1種又はそれ以上のドーパント
を含み、該アルミナは、1グラム当たり約100〜約500平方メートルの比表面積を有し、900℃で2時間焼成後の総細孔体積が1グラム当たり1.2立方センチメートル以上であり、ここで、総細孔体積の15%以下は10ナノメートル未満の直径を有する細孔によって寄与され、アルミナ。 - 900℃で2時間焼成後、1グラム当たり1.25立方センチメートル以上の総細孔体積を有する、請求項1に記載のアルミナ。
- 900℃で2時間焼成後、アルミナの総細孔体積の10%以下が10ナノメートル未満の直径を有する細孔によって寄与される、請求項1に記載のアルミナ。
- 900℃で2時間焼成後、アルミナの総細孔体積の50%以下が20ナノメートル未満の直径を有する細孔によって寄与される、請求項1に記載のアルミナ。
- 900℃で2時間焼成後、アルミナの総細孔体積の40%以下が20ナノメートル未満の直径を有する細孔によって寄与される、請求項1に記載のアルミナ。
- 多孔性アルミナの個々の元素のそれぞれの酸化物の合計量100質量部につき、個々の元素のそれぞれの酸化物の質量部として表される相対的な量が、
約60〜約98質量部の酸化アルミニウム、
約2〜約40質量部の酸化ケイ素、及び、
選択的に更に遷移金属酸化物又は希土類元素酸化物から選択される1種又はそれ以上のドーパント
である、アルミナ及びシリカを含む、請求項1に記載のアルミナ。 - 酸化アルミニウム100質量部につき、遷移金属酸化物、希土類元素酸化物、及びこれらの混合物から選ばれるドーパントを0.1〜20質量部の量で含む、請求項6に記載の多孔性アルミナ。
- 該ドーパントが酸化ランタンを含む、請求項7に記載の多孔性アルミナ。
- 触媒であって、(a)硫黄に耐性のある、高い表面積、高い細孔体積の、請求項1に記載の多孔性アルミナ、及び(b)硫黄に耐性のある、高い表面積、高い細孔体積の多孔性アルミナの上に分散した貴金属を含む触媒。
- 高い表面積、高い細孔体積の多孔性アルミナを製造する方法であって、
約4〜6未満のpHで水性の媒体中でアルミニウム水和物粒子のスラリーを形成する工程と、
約8〜11未満のpHに水性の媒体中でアルミニウム水和物粒子のスラリーのpHを調節する工程と、
水性の媒体からアルミニウム水和物粒子を単離する工程と、
単離した酸化アルミニウム粒子を乾燥させる工程と、
乾燥酸化アルミニウム粒子を焼成して、高い表面積、高い細孔体積の多孔性アルミナを形成する工程とを含む方法。 - アルミニウム水和物粒子のスラリーが、水性の媒体中で硫酸アルミニウム及びアルミン酸ナトリウムが反応することによって形成される、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 水性の媒体中でアルミニウム水和物粒子と水溶性シリカ前駆体とが接触する工程を更に含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 多孔性アルミナ100質量部当たり、シリカ約1〜約40質量部のシリカ含有量を有する多孔性アルミナ生成物を提供するために、水溶性シリカ前駆体の量が十分である、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 水性の媒体中でアルミニウム水和物粒子を形成する工程の間、ドーパント前駆体を水性の媒体中に加える工程を更に含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- アルミニウム水和物粒子のスラリーを形成する工程が50℃〜100℃で行われる、請求項10に記載の方法。
- アルミニウム水和物粒子のスラリーを形成する工程が55℃〜100℃で行われる、請求項10に記載の方法。
- アルミニウム水和物粒子のスラリーを形成する工程が60℃〜100℃で行われる、請求項10に記載の方法。
