Abstract
Description
以上のように、本発明の第1実施形態による有機発光表示装置1000は、第1開口部OM1と第2開口部OM2の間及び第1開口部OM1と第3開口部OM3それぞれの間に、第1長さL1のギャップ(gap)が形成されると同時に、隣接する第1開口部OM1の間には、第1長さL1に比べて長い第3長さL3のギャップが形成されることによって、第1開口部OM1、第2開口部OM2、及び第3開口部OM3それぞれに含まれている緑色の有機発光層、青色の有機発光層、及び赤色の有機発光層それぞれを形成するファインメタルマスクを利用した蒸着工程のとき、蒸着面積が大きいため蒸着信頼度が向上する。つまり、蒸着信頼度が向上した有機発光表示装置1000が提供される。

Claims (15)
- 仮想の正四角形の中心点に位置する第1電極と、
前記仮想の正四角形の前記中心点を間に置いて相互離隔した前記仮想の正四角形の第1頂点及び第2頂点それぞれに位置する第2電極と、
前記仮想の正四角形の前記中心点を間に置いて相互離隔した前記仮想の正四角形の第3頂点及び第4頂点それぞれに位置する第3電極と、
前記第1電極、前記第2電極、及び前記第3電極上に位置し、前記第1電極、前記第2電極、及び前記第3電極を開口する画素定義層と、
前記仮想の正四角形の4辺それぞれに対応して、それぞれが前記画素定義層上に島(island)状に位置する4個のスペーサと、
を含む、有機発光表示装置。 - 前記画素定義層は、
前記第1電極を開口し、前記中心点に中心が一致する第1多角形状の第1開口部と、
前記第2電極を開口し、前記第1頂点及び前記第2頂点それぞれに中心が一致する第2多角形状の第2開口部と、
前記第3電極を開口し、前記第3頂点及び前記第4頂点それぞれに中心が一致する第3多角形状の第3開口部と、
を含む、請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置。 - 前記中心点と隣接する前記4個のスペーサそれぞれの中心と前記中心点との間は、同一の距離を有する、請求項2に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記4個のスペーサそれぞれは正四角形状を有する、請求項3に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記4個のスペーサそれぞれは、前記中心点から前記4辺それぞれに延長された方向に延長された長辺を有する長方形状である、請求項3に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記第2開口部及び前記第3開口部は、前記第1開口部に比べて大きい面積を有する、請求項2に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記第2開口部は、前記第3開口部に比べて大きい面積を有する、請求項6に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記第1多角形、前記第2多角形、及び前記第3多角形のうちの一つ以上は八角形である、請求項7に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記第1多角形は八角形であり、
前記第2多角形及び前記第3多角形のうちのいずれか一つは六角形であり、他の一つは四角形である、請求項7に記載の有機発光表示装置。 - 前記第1開口部は複数個であり、
前記複数個の第1開口部のうち隣接する第1開口部それぞれは、互いに対称である八角形状を有する、請求項9に記載の有機発光表示装置。 - 前記第1開口部と前記第2開口部の間の距離、及び前記第1開口部と前記第3開口部の間の距離それぞれは、同一の第1長さを有する、請求項10に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記第2開口部と前記第3開口部の間の距離は第2長さを有し、
隣接する前記第1開口部の間の距離は、前記第1長さ及び前記第2長さそれぞれに比べて長い第3長さを有する、請求項11に記載の有機発光表示装置。 - 前記第1開口部に対応して前記第1電極上に位置する第1有機発光層と、
前記第2開口部に対応して前記第2電極上に位置する第2有機発光層と、
前記第3開口部に対応して前記第3電極上に位置する第3有機発光層と、
をさらに含む、請求項2に記載の有機発光表示装置。 - 前記第1有機発光層、前記第2有機発光層、及び前記第3有機発光層それぞれは、互いに異なる色の光を発光する、請求項13に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記第1有機発光層は緑色(green)の光を発光し、
前記第2有機発光層及び前記第3有機発光層のうちのいずれか一つは青色(blue)の光を発光し、他の一つは赤色(red)の光を発光する、請求項14に記載の有機発光表示装置。
