【解決手段】被加工シート持ち上がりストッパ94,95は、プレス91の近傍かつ被加工シートS2の上方に、被加工シートS2との間に所定のスペースを設けて配置された2つのストッパ94,95から構成され、1方のストッパ94はプレス91に対して上流側に配置され、他方のストッパ95はプレス91に対して下流側に配置されて、プレス91が被加工シートS2にシールを施し、その後上方へ移動するとき、ストッパ94,95は、被加工シートが持ち上がるのを防止する。

Description
積層された帯状の被加工シートに間欠的にシールを施す融着装置であって、
前記融着装置は、相対向するプレス及びアンビルと、被加工シート持ち上がり防止ストッパと、を備え、
前記被加工シートは前記プレスと前記アンビルとの間を通過し、
前記プレスは、上方から下方へ移動して上側から前記被加工シートを押圧して前記被加工シートにシールを施し、その後上方へ移動し、
前記アンビルは、前記被加工シートにシールを施すとき、下側から前記被加工シートを支持し、
前記防止ストッパは2つのストッパから構成され、該2つのストッパはいずれも前記プレスの近傍かつ前記被加工シートの上方に、前記被加工シートとの間に所定のスペースを設けて配置されており、1方の前記ストッパは前記プレスに対して上流側に配置され、他方の前記ストッパは前記プレスに対して下流側に配置されており、
前記プレスが前記被加工シートにシールを施し、その後上方へ移動するとき、前記防止ストッパは、被加工シートが持ち上がるのを防止することを特徴とする。
そして、1方のストッパは前記プレスに対して上流側に配置され、他方のストッパは前記プレスに対して下流側に配置されることにより、プレスと被加工シートの付着状態が解除されるとき(両者が剥離するとき)安定して相互に離間することが可能となる。
前記アンビルは、下方から上方へ移動して下側から前記被加工シートを支持し、前記被加工シートがシールを施された後に下方へ移動することを特徴とする。
アンビルの作動の態様を表したものである。
前記融着装置は、前記プレスが加熱されるヒートシール装置又は前記プレスが超音波で振動する超音波シール装置であることを特徴とする。
融着装置の具体的態様を明示したものである。
前記被加工シートの前記プレスに対面する側には、繊維束が形成されていることを特徴とする。
被加工シートにおいて、プレスに対面する側に繊維束が形成されている場合、繊維束は例えば不織布に比べ加熱されたプレスに付着し易く、その場合本来あるべき形態や機能を大幅に損なう。そのため、プレスに対面する側に繊維束が形成されている被加工シートにおいては、防止ストッパの配置の有効性が増加する。
前記プレスは、シール用突起を有し、該シール用突起の端面の縁部は面取りがされていることを特徴とする。
シール用突起の端面の縁部が鋭利である場合には加熱溶融した被加工シートに縁部が食い込みシール後にプレスが上昇するとき被加工シートがプレスに付着したままの状態となり易い。また縁部を面取りすることにより、シール用突起の端面の面積が小さくなり、被加工シートがプレスに付着しにくくなる。
前記融着装置は、前記プレスが加熱されるヒートシール装置であり、前記プレスは、前記被加工シートに対面する側に断熱板が配置されていることを特徴とする。
ヒートシール装置の場合、断熱板の配置によりシール用突起のみから被加工シートへ熱供給することが可能となる。すなわち、融着予定箇所にのみ効率的に熱を供給することが可能となる。
まず、本発明の装置によって製造される清掃部材1とその清掃部材に固定される把持具15との構成の概要について説明する。図1〜図3に、本発明による清掃部材1及び把持具15の構成が示されていて、図1は清掃部材1及び把持具15の全体を示す斜視図、図2は図1のX−X線における断面図、図3は図1の清掃部材1の平面図である。
なお、本明細書では、「トウ」は、JIS L 0204−3:1998の3.1.24に記載されるとおり、極めて多数のフィラメントをそろえた束を意味する。
次いで、上述した清掃部材1の製造方法について説明する。図4は、製造設備100を用いて上述した清掃部材1を製造する方法を説明するための概略図である。
ここで、本発明の第1実施形態の融着装置について図5に基づいて説明する。第1実施形態の融着装置は、前述した第2融着部形成装置134において使用される。融着装置134により、帯状の積層ウェブ(被加工シート)S2に含まれる基材シート12、保持シート13及び第1の繊維束F1を融着することによって、第2融着部11(図3)が形成される。これにより、積層ウェブS2が、その厚さ方向にわたって融着される。融着装置134は、例えば、ヒートシール装置、超音波シール装置等であり、前述した製造方法では、ヒートシール装置を用いている。なお、ヒートシール装置はプレスが加熱されて、そして、超音波シール装置はプレスが超音波で振動することにより摩擦熱を発生させ、この熱を積層ウェブS2のシール部(接合部)に伝達して積層ウェブS2の各層を融着させる。以下は、融着装置134がヒートシール装置であるとして説明するものである。
次に融着装置の作動方法を説明する。まず、積層ウェブS2が所定距離搬送されて停止する。アンビル92は、下方から上方へ移動して下側から積層ウェブS2を支持する。プレス91は、上方から下方へ移動して上側から積層ウェブS2を押圧して積層ウェブS2にシールを施す。シール工程を終了後、プレス91は上方へ移動する。プレス91が上方へ移動するとき、防止ストッパ94、95は、積層ウェブS2が持ち上がるのを防止する。アンビル92は、積層ウェブS2がシールを施された後に下方へ移動する。
防止ストッパ94、95は、上述したバー形状ではなく平面形状でも良く、要するに積層ウェブS2が所定距離以上持ち上がるのを防止できる機能を有すれば良い。
Claims (7)
- 積層された帯状の被加工シートに間欠的にシールを施す融着装置であって、
前記融着装置は、相対向するプレス及びアンビルと、被加工シート持ち上がり防止ストッパと、を備え、
前記被加工シートは前記プレスと前記アンビルとの間を通過し、
前記プレスは、上方から下方へ移動して上側から前記被加工シートを押圧して前記被加工シートにシールを施し、その後上方へ移動し、
前記アンビルは、前記被加工シートにシールを施すとき、下側から前記被加工シートを支持し、
前記防止ストッパは2つのストッパから構成され、該2つのストッパはいずれも前記プレスの近傍かつ前記被加工シートの上方に、前記被加工シートとの間に所定のスペースを設けて配置されており、1方の前記ストッパは前記プレスに対して上流側に配置され、他方の前記ストッパは前記プレスに対して下流側に配置されており、
前記プレスが前記被加工シートにシールを施し、その後上方へ移動するとき、前記防止ストッパは、被加工シートが持ち上がるのを防止することを特徴とする融着装置。 - 前記アンビルは、下方から上方へ移動して下側から前記被加工シートを支持し、前記被加工シートがシールを施された後に下方へ移動することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の融着装置。
- 前記融着装置は、前記プレスが加熱されるヒートシール装置又は前記プレスが超音波で振動する超音波シール装置であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の融着装置。
- 前記被加工シートの前記プレスに対面する側には、繊維束が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の融着装置。
- 前記プレスは、シール用突起を有し、該シール用突起の端面の縁部は面取りがされていることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の融着装置。
- 前記融着装置は、前記プレスが加熱されるヒートシール装置であり、
前記プレスは、前記被加工シートに対面する側に断熱板が配置されていることを特徴とする請求項3から5のいずれか1項に記載の融着装置。 - 前記融着装置は、前記プレス及び前記アンビルが加熱されるヒートシール装置であり、
前記プレスの加熱温度が前記アンビルの加熱温度より高いことを特徴とする請求項3から6のいずれか1項に記載の融着装置。
