Abstract
【解決手段】燃料電池スタック10を構成する燃料電池11は、電解質膜・電極構造体12をカソード側セパレータ14及びアノード側セパレータ16で挟持する。カソード側セパレータ14では、入口バッファ部32aと酸化剤ガス入口連通孔18aとが、複数本の入口連結流路33aにより繋がれる。酸化剤ガス入口連通孔18aは、入口バッファ部32aの中央側で終端する端部壁面18ae1が外方に突出する湾曲面を構成し、前記端部壁面18ae1と入口バッファ部32aとは、入口屈曲流路33arにより連結される。

Claims (2)
- 電解質膜の両側に電極が設けられる電解質膜・電極構造体と横長形状のセパレータとが積層される燃料電池を有し、前記セパレータの短辺側には、燃料ガス又は酸化剤ガスの一方の反応ガスがセパレータ積層方向に流通される第1反応ガス連通孔と、前記燃料ガス又は前記酸化剤ガスの他方の反応ガスが前記セパレータ積層方向に流通される第2反応ガス連通孔とが設けられるとともに、複数の前記燃料電池が積層される燃料電池スタックであって、
前記一方の反応ガスをセパレータ面に沿って長辺方向に流通させる反応ガス流路が形成された前記セパレータは、前記反応ガス流路の入口側及び前記反応ガス流路の出口側に連なってそれぞれ三角形状のバッファ部を設ける一方、前記第1反応ガス連通孔と前記バッファ部とを繋げる複数本の連結流路を設け、
前記第1反応ガス連通孔は、前記バッファ部の稜線に沿って延在する長穴形状を有し、且つ、前記バッファ部の中央側で終端する端部壁面が外方に突出する湾曲面を構成するとともに、
前記湾曲面と前記バッファ部とは、屈曲又は湾曲する流路により連結されることを特徴とする燃料電池スタック。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池スタックにおいて、前記第1反応ガス連通孔は、前記バッファ部に近接し且つ前記複数本の連結流路が形成された壁面が、前記バッファ部の前記稜線と平行に構成されることを特徴とする燃料電池スタック。
