Abstract
【解決手段】位置変換器100は、回転制限モータ1の回転軸2に取り付けられたバタフライ形状反射器7と、バタフライ形状反射器7の反射面の中央部分に対向して配置されるLEDダイ4と、LEDダイ4から見てバタフライ形状反射器7の背後に、バタフライ形状反射器7から距離を持ってバタフライ形状反射器7を取り囲むように回転制限モータ1の固定側に設置され、反射面に当たらなかったLEDダイ4からの照射光を吸収する拡散光吸収体3およびケース5の表面に配置された拡散光吸収部材と、LEDダイ4と同一のプリント基板6上に実装され、バタフライ形状反射器7により反射された像を検出する複数の検出器11と、を有する。

Description
本発明に係る位置変換器では、反射器は、反射面として、同一平面上で回転軸から放射状に突出する複数の反射面を有することが好ましい。
本発明に係る位置変換器では、拡散光源は、反射面の個数と同数のLEDであることが好ましい。
本発明に係る位置変換器では、反射器は、反射面として、バタフライ形状の反射面を有することが好ましい。
本発明に係る位置変換器では、複数の検出器は、それぞれが反射面の個数に対応する複数個を含む2組のフォトダイオードであり、2組のフォトダイオードは、互い違いに回転軸を取り囲むようにそれぞれ隣り合わせで配置されることが好ましい。
本発明に係る位置変換器では、反射器は、反射面に金属コーティングが施されていることが好ましい。
本発明に係る位置変換器では、複数の検出器は、反射器による像の位置が回転により移動して各検出器での受光領域が連続的に増減することに応じて、連続的に増減する信号をそれぞれ出力し、複数の検出器のそれぞれに接続され、受光領域の増減に対応する電圧値を出力する信号処理回路をさらに有することが好ましい。

Ia=Kr・Sa・α+Ke・(S−Sa)・β ・・・(2)
Ib=Kr・Sb・α+Ke・(S−Sb)・β ・・・(3)
となる。これらを(1)式に代入することで、実際に近い出力Voが計算される。
・条件(1):LED光源が1個であり、反射器に反射領域と非反射領域の両方が含まれており、反射器と検出器の周囲を拡散光吸収部材で囲っていない、図13(a)〜図13(e)に類似した位置変換器を使用する。
・条件(2):LED光源が1個であり、バタフライ形状反射器を使用し、反射器と検出器の周囲を拡散光吸収部材で囲った位置変換器100を使用する。
・条件(3):LED光源が2個であり、バタフライ形状反射器を使用し、反射器と検出器の周囲を拡散光吸収部材で囲った位置変換器200を使用する。
・条件(4):条件(3)の位置変換器200で、さらにバタフライ形状反射器に高反射金属コーティングを施す。
なお、反射器に高反射金属コーティングを施すのは、条件(4)だけである。
・条件(1)’:LED光源が1個であり、バタフライ形状反射器を使用し、反射器と検出器の周囲を拡散光吸収部材で囲わない位置変換器を使用する
場合の結果も示している。

Claims (8)
- 回転制限モータの回転軸に取り付けられた反射器と、
前記反射器の反射面の中央部分に対向して配置される拡散光源と、
前記拡散光源から見て前記反射器の背後に、前記反射器から距離を持って前記反射器を取り囲むように前記回転制限モータの固定側に設置され、前記反射面に当たらなかった前記拡散光源からの照射光を吸収する拡散光吸収部材と、
前記拡散光源と同一の回路基板上に実装され、前記反射器により反射された像を検出する複数の検出器と、
を有することを特徴とする位置変換器。 - 前記拡散光吸収部材は、表面処理により設けられた微細構造を有し、前記照射光を前記微細構造内で繰り返し反射させることにより吸収する、請求項1に記載の位置変換器。
- 前記反射器は、前記反射面として、同一平面上で前記回転軸から放射状に突出する複数の反射面を有する、請求項2に記載の位置変換器。
- 前記拡散光源は、前記反射面の個数と同数のLEDである、請求項3に記載の位置変換器。
- 前記反射器は、前記反射面として、バタフライ形状の反射面を有する、請求項3または4に記載の位置変換器。
- 前記複数の検出器は、それぞれが前記反射面の個数に対応する複数個を含む2組のフォトダイオードであり、前記2組のフォトダイオードは、互い違いに前記回転軸を取り囲むようにそれぞれ隣り合わせで配置される、請求項3〜5のいずれか一項に記載の位置変換器。
- 前記反射器は、前記反射面に金属コーティングが施されている、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の位置変換器。
- 前記複数の検出器は、前記反射器による像の位置が回転により移動して各検出器での受光領域が連続的に増減することに応じて、連続的に増減する信号をそれぞれ出力し、
前記複数の検出器のそれぞれに接続され、前記受光領域の増減に対応する電圧値を出力する信号処理回路をさらに有する、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の位置変換器。
