Abstract
【解決手段】空気入りタイヤTは、ビードコア1aからタイヤ径方向外側に延びるビードフィラー1bと、ビードコア1aとビードフィラー1bを挟むようにして巻き上げられたカーカスプライ7と、サイドウォール部2の外表面を形成するサイドウォールゴム9と、サイドウォールゴム9のタイヤ径方向内側に連なったリムストリップゴム4とを備える。リムストリップゴム4は、ビード部1の外表面を形成する主部41と、カーカスプライ7とサイドウォールゴム9との間に配されて実質的に一定の厚みでタイヤ径方向に延びる肉薄部42とを有する。肉薄部42の上端4Eは、ビードフィラー1bの上端1bEよりもタイヤ径方向外側で且つカーカスプライ7の巻き上げ端7Eよりもタイヤ径方向内側に位置する。

Claims (5)
- ビード部に埋設されたビードコアからタイヤ径方向外側に延びる断面三角形状のビードフィラーと、トレッド部からサイドウォール部を経て前記ビード部に至り、前記ビードコアと前記ビードフィラーを挟むようにして巻き上げられたカーカスプライと、前記カーカスプライの外側に設けられて前記サイドウォール部の外表面を形成するサイドウォールゴムと、前記サイドウォールゴムのタイヤ径方向内側に連なったリムストリップゴムと、を備える空気入りタイヤにおいて、
前記リムストリップゴムが、前記ビードフィラーのタイヤ幅方向外側に配されて前記ビード部の外表面を形成する主部と、前記カーカスプライと前記サイドウォールゴムとの間に配されて実質的に一定の厚みでタイヤ径方向に延びる肉薄部とを有し、
前記肉薄部の上端が、前記ビードフィラーの上端よりもタイヤ径方向外側で且つ前記カーカスプライの巻き上げ端よりもタイヤ径方向内側に位置することを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記リムストリップゴムが、前記主部と前記肉薄部との間に介在して両者を連結し且つ前記主部からタイヤ径方向外側に向けて厚みを漸減させた連結部を有する請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記肉薄部の厚みが、前記リムストリップゴムの最大厚みの0.3倍以下である請求項1又は2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記肉薄部の上端が、前記ビードフィラーの上端と前記カーカスプライの巻き上げ端との中間地点かそれよりもタイヤ径方向外側に位置する請求項1〜3いずれか1項に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記肉薄部のタイヤ径方向の長さが、前記ビードコアのタイヤ径方向外側端を通ってタイヤ幅方向に延びる基準線からタイヤ最外径位置までのタイヤ径方向の高さの0.1〜0.3倍である請求項1〜4いずれか1項に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
