Abstract
【解決手段】光源装置100は、素子温度検出部8により検出される光源素子4の素子温度が目標温度になるように、冷却機構5を駆動させる冷却機構駆動部3と、冷却機構5の露点温度を算出し、算出した露点温度と素子温度とを用いて冷却機構駆動部3および光源素子駆動部2を制御する制御部1とを備える。

Description
図1は、実施の形態1に係る光源装置100の構成を示すブロック図である。図1に示すように、光源装置100は、光源素子4と、ミラー6と、光源素子駆動部2と、冷却機構5と、ヒートパイプ7と、ラジエター10と、ファン11と、冷却機構駆動部3と、光量検出部9と、素子温度検出部8と、制御部1と、環境センサ12とを備える。
Idは、式1を変形した以下の式2により表される。
なお、Vfは、光源素子4に実際に引加される電圧に限定されない。Vfは、例えば、予め測定したIdとVfの関係を表形式、もしくは近似式で表し、その都度メモリから読み出した値であってもよい。また、Vfは、例えば、制御部1により算出されてもよい。また、Idに対するVfの依存性が小さい場合には、簡単化のため、Vfを、一定値と扱っても良い。
制御部1は、式3より、最大駆動電流Idmaxを算出する。そして、制御部1は、光源素子4の駆動電流Idと、最大駆動電流Idmaxとを比較する。制御部1は、以下の式4のように、IdがIdmax以上である場合、光量P0の目標値(設定値)を低減させるよう、光源素子駆動部2を制御する。以下においては、光量P0の目標値を、光量目標値ともいう。
光量P0の目標値を低減または増加させる処理は、制御部1が、光量検出部9から受信する光量P0の値が変化するよう、光源素子駆動部2を制御することにより行われる。すなわち、光量P0を変化させるために、制御部1は、光源素子駆動部2が光源素子4に印加する電圧を変化させるよう、光源素子駆動部2を制御する。つまり、制御部1が光量検出部9から受信する最新の光量P0の値(戻り値)が新たな目標値となるように、制御部1は光源素子駆動部2を制御する。

Claims (7)
- 光を出射する光源素子と、
前記光源素子を駆動させる光源素子駆動部と、
前記光源素子を冷却する冷却機構と、
前記光源素子の温度である素子温度を検出する素子温度検出部と、
前記素子温度検出部により検出される前記素子温度が目標温度になるように、前記冷却機構を駆動させる冷却機構駆動部と、
前記冷却機構の露点温度を算出し、算出した前記露点温度と前記素子温度とを用いて前記冷却機構駆動部および前記光源素子駆動部を制御する制御部と、を備える
光源装置。 - 前記冷却機構は、前記光源素子を冷却する冷却部を含み、
前記冷却機構駆動部は、前記制御部の制御に従って、さらに、前記冷却部の温度が前記露点温度より高い温度を維持するように、前記冷却機構を駆動させる
請求項1に記載の光源装置。 - 前記光源装置は、さらに、
前記光源装置の周囲温度を検出する周囲温度検出部と、
前記光源装置の周囲湿度を検出する周囲湿度検出部とを備え、
前記制御部は、前記周囲温度および前記周囲湿度を用いて前記露点温度を算出し、前記露点温度および前記素子温度を用いて前記冷却機構駆動部および前記光源素子駆動部を制御する
請求項1または2に記載の光源装置。 - 前記冷却機構は、前記光源素子を冷却する冷却部を含み、
前記冷却部は、熱抵抗が生じるように前記光源素子と当接し、
前記光源素子駆動部は、前記光源素子に電圧を印加することにより前記光源素子を駆動させ、
前記光源装置は、さらに、
前記光源素子が出射する光の光量を検出する光量検出部を備え
前記露点温度をTrとし、前記冷却部の温度をTsとし、前記光源素子に引加される電圧をVfとし、前記光源素子の駆動電流をIdとし、前記光量をP0とし、前記素子温度をTjとし、前記熱抵抗をθjsとした場合、
