Description
Comp.Seg.−結合基;
(ここで、「Com.Seg.」は、表面改質剤の相溶化セグメントを指す)を含む。
90°引き剥がし手順.幅51mm(2インチ(in.))×長さ約127mm(5in.)の高密度ポリエチレン(HDPE、QUADRANT Engineering Plastics Products USA,Inc.,Reading,PAから入手可能なPROTEUS天然高密度ポリエチレン)をイソプロピルアルコールで溶媒洗浄し、乾燥させた。試験試料の開始末端にタブを形成するために、厚み0.025mm(0.001in.)×幅31.8mm(1.25in.)のポリエステルフィルムを、パネルの一端の約12.7mm(0.5in.)をフィルムが被覆するようにHDPEパネル上に置いた。
SMNP−1.500グラム(g)のシリカ−1を、機械的撹拌機及び還流冷却器を備える丸底3つ口フラスコに量り入れ、500mLの2−メトキシ−1−プロパノールで希釈した。100mLの2−メトキシ−1−プロパノール中40.42gのイソオクチルトリメトキシシランの溶液をビーカー内で別個に調製した。
表2に示す通り、0.01重量%〜2重量%の濃度で、ナノ粒子サンプルSMNP−1〜SMNP−4とシリカ−4とをTHF中で合わせることによりナノ粒子溶液を調製した。次いで、溶液を約15分間超音波処理した。
Claims (25)
- 第1の表面及び第2の表面を含む感圧性接着剤の層と、TEM法により測定したときDavgの平均直径を有する複数の表面改質ナノ粒子とを含む接着物品であって、前記表面改質ナノ粒子のうちの少なくとも80重量%が、第1の表面上から、前記第1の表面からDavgの5倍の深さまで延在する第1の領域と、第2の表面上から、前記第2の表面からDavgの5倍の深さまで延在する第2の領域とのうちの少なくとも1つの領域内に位置する接着物品。
- 前記表面改質ナノ粒子のうちの少なくとも80重量%が、第1の表面上から、前記第1の表面からDavgの5倍の深さまで延在する第1の領域内に位置する、請求項1に記載の接着物品。
- 第1の表面及び第2の表面を含む感圧性接着剤の層と、Davgの平均直径を有する複数の表面改質ナノ粒子とを含む接着物品であって、前記表面改質ナノ粒子のうちの少なくとも80重量%が、第1の表面上から、前記第1の表面から500nmの深さまで延在する第1の領域と、第2の表面上から、前記第2の表面から500nmの深さまで延在する第2の領域とのうちの少なくとも1つの領域内に位置する接着物品。
- 前記表面改質ナノ粒子のうちの少なくとも80重量%が、第1の表面上から、前記第1の表面から500nmの深さまで延在する第1の領域内に位置する、請求項3に記載の接着物品。
- 前記表面改質ナノ粒子がシリカコアを含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の接着物品。
- 前記表面改質ナノ粒子が、前記コアの表面に結合している結合基及び相溶化基を含む表面改質剤を更に含む、請求項5に記載の接着物品。
- 前記感圧性接着剤の溶解度パラメータと前記相溶化基の溶解度パラメータとの差が、加算グループ寄与法により測定したとき、4J1/2cm−3/2以下である、請求項6に記載の接着物品。
- 前記接着剤が架橋されている、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の接着物品。
- 前記Davgが250nm以下である、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の接着物品。
- 前記Davgが少なくとも10nmである、請求項9に記載の接着物品。
- 前記Davgが20nm以上100nm以下である、請求項10に記載の接着物品。
- 第1の表面及び第2の表面を含む感圧性接着剤の層を含む接着物品を調製する方法であって、前記層の第1及び第2の表面のうちの少なくとも1つに、TEM法により測定したときDavgの平均直径を有する溶媒系に分散している表面改質ナノ粒子を含む溶液を塗布し、塗布された溶液を乾燥させることを含む方法。
- 前記表面改質ナノ粒子のうちの少なくとも80重量%が、第1の表面上から、前記第1の表面からDavgの5倍の深さまで延在する第1の領域と、第2の表面上から、前記第2の表面からDavgの5倍の深さまで延在する第2の領域とのうちの少なくとも1つの領域内に位置する、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記表面改質ナノ粒子のうちの少なくとも80重量%が、第1の表面上から、前記第1の表面からDavgの5倍の深さまで延在する第1の領域内に位置する、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記表面改質ナノ粒子のうちの少なくとも80重量%が、第1の表面上から、前記第1の表面から500nmの深さまで延在する第1の領域と、第2の表面上から、前記第2の表面から500nmの深さまで延在する第2の領域とのうちの少なくとも1つの領域内に位置する、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記表面改質ナノ粒子のうちの少なくとも80重量%が、第1の表面上から、前記第1の表面から500nmの深さまで延在する第1の領域内に位置する、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記表面改質ナノ粒子がシリカコアを含む、請求項12〜16のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記表面改質ナノ粒子が、前記コアの表面に結合している結合基及び相溶化基を含む表面改質剤を更に含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記感圧性接着剤の溶解度パラメータと相溶化基の溶解度パラメータとの差が、加算グループ寄与法により測定したとき、4J1/2cm−3/2以下である、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記接着剤が架橋されている、請求項12〜19のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記Davgが250nm以下である、請求項12〜20のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記Davgが少なくとも10nmである、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記Davgが20nm以上100nm以下である、請求項22に記載の方法。
- 前記溶液が0.5〜2重量%の表面改質ナノ粒子を含む、請求項12〜23のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記溶媒の溶解度パラメータが、前記溶媒が膨潤するが、前記感圧性接着剤を溶解させないように選択される、請求項12〜24のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
