- 粗カフェイン複合体が、焙煎されない、生コーヒー豆の超臨界二酸化炭素カフェイン除去から得られることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の方法。
- 上昇した血糖値を有する生物における血糖値を低減する方法であって、
細胞へのグルコース取り込みを刺激するために粗カフェイン複合体の有効量を生物に提供するステップと、
上昇した血糖値よりも低い生物の血糖値を低減するステップ、
を含み、
前記粗カフェイン複合体が、カフェインおよび有効量のコーヒー由来の生物活性成分のブレンドを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 粗カフェイン複合体が、約90から約95パーセントのカフェインおよび約5から約10パーセントのコーヒー由来の生物活性成分であることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の方法。
- 細胞が、ヒト骨格筋細胞であることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の方法。
- 細胞が、ヒト脂肪細胞であることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の方法。
- 細胞を接触させるステップが、細胞を約0.001から約0.1mg/mLの粗カフェイン複合体と接触させるステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項20に記載の方法。
- 粗カフェイン複合体が、焙煎されない、生コーヒー豆の超臨界二酸化炭素カフェイン除去から得られることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の方法。
- 上昇した血糖値よりも低い血糖値(200mg/dL以下)を有することを必要とする、上昇した血糖値(200mg/dLを超える)を有する生物を同定するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記食料品ベースおよびそれにブレンドした前記機能的な添加物が、カフェイン除去していないコーヒー豆/コーヒーを再生しないまたはレギュラーコーヒーを生成しないことを特徴とする請求項1から10のいずれかに記載の食料品。
- 食品および粗カフェインを含む物質の組成物であって、前記粗カフェインが、生豆カフェイン除去プロセスの生成物であることを特徴とする組成物。
- 薬物および粗カフェインを含む物質の組成物であって、前記粗カフェインが、生豆カフェイン除去プロセスの生成物であることを特徴とする組成物。
- 化粧品および粗カフェインを含む物質の組成物であって、前記粗カフェインが、生豆カフェイン除去プロセスの生成物であることを特徴とする組成物。
- 栄養補助食品および粗カフェインを含む物質の組成物であって、前記粗カフェインが、生豆カフェイン除去プロセスの生成物であることを特徴とする組成物。
- 生物製剤および粗カフェインを含む物質の組成物であって、前記粗カフェインが、生豆カフェイン除去プロセスの生成物であることを特徴とする組成物。
- 前記食品、薬物、化粧品、栄養補助食品、または生物製剤、および前記粗カフェインが、カフェイン除去していないコーヒー豆/コーヒーを再生しないまたはレギュラーコーヒーを生成しないことを特徴とする請求項28から32のいずれかに記載の物質の組成物。
- 前記粗カフェインが、インスリンに統計的に類似のまたはそれよりも高いレベルでヒト脂肪細胞へのグルコース取り込みを刺激するまたはインスリンに統計的に類似のレベルでヒト骨格筋細胞へのグルコース取り込みを刺激することを特徴とする請求項28から32のいずれかに記載の物質の組成物。
- 前記粗カフェインが、少なくとも約150から約300μモルTE/gのORAChydro値および少なくとも約50から約100μモルTE/gのORAClipo値を有することを特徴とする請求項28から32のいずれかに記載の物質の組成物。
- 前記粗カフェインが、アスピリンに統計的に類似のまたはそれを超えるレベルでCOX−2活性を阻害することを特徴とする請求項28から32のいずれかに記載の物質の組成物。
- 上昇した血糖値を有する生物における血糖値を低減する方法であって、
上昇した血糖値よりも低い生物の血糖値を低減させるのに有効な粗カフェインの量を生物に提供するステップを含み、
前記粗カフェインが、生豆カフェイン除去プロセスの生成物であることを特徴とする方法。 - 上昇した血糖値よりも低い血糖値(200mg/dL以下)を有することを必要とする、上昇した血糖値(200mg/dLを超える)を有する生物を同定するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項37に記載の方法。
- 生物において抗酸化物質の総食物摂取を増加することにより食事を補充する方法であって、
抗酸化物質の総食物摂取を増加することにより食事を補充するのに有効な粗カフェインの量を生物に提供するステップを含み、
前記粗カフェインが生豆カフェイン除去プロセスの生成物であることを特徴とする方法。 - 抗酸化物質の総食物摂取を増加することにより食事の補充を必要とする生物を同定するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項39に記載の方法。
- 上昇した炎症性レベルを有する生物における炎症性活性を低減する方法であって、
上昇した炎症性レベルよりも低い生物の炎症性レベルを低減させるのに有効な粗カフェインの量を生物に提供するステップを含み、
前記粗カフェインが、生豆カフェイン除去プロセスの生成物であることを特徴とする方法。 - 上昇した炎症性レベルよりも低い減少した炎症性レベルを有することを必要とする上昇した炎症性レベルを有する生物を同定するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項41に記載の方法。
- 前記生物がヒトであることを特徴とする請求項20から26または請求項37から42のいずれかに記載の方法。
