Abstract
【解決手段】車体側にはモータ18の駆動制御およびバッテリ4の充電制御を行うPDU45と、充電器10からの入力電圧をバッテリ4の充電電圧に降圧する第1のコンバータ111と、第1のコンバータ111の出力電圧をPDU45の駆動電圧に降圧する第2のコンバータ112とを設ける。充電器10は充電カプラ13によって電力供給装置11に接続される。充電器10は充電カプラ13に印加される識別電圧が降下することをもって充電カプラ13が接続されたことを検出して充電電圧の出力を開始する。充電器10は定電圧制御され、最大出力電流以上では出力電圧が降下する。PDU45は充電器10の出力電圧を監視し、出力電圧が定電圧を維持するように充電電流を制御する。

Claims (6)
- 車両用駆動源であるモータ(18)の駆動制御および車載されるバッテリ(4)の充電制御を行うPDU(45)を含む電力供給装置(11)と、車外に設けられて充電カプラ(13)によって前記電力供給装置(11)に接続される充電器(10)とからなる電動車両の充電制御装置において、
前記充電器(10)は、前記電力供給装置(11)との接続判定のため、電流制限がなされた識別電圧を前記充電コネクタ(13)に印加する識別電圧印加手段と、前記識別電圧が予定電圧以下に降下したことを検出して充電電圧の出力を開始する接続検出手段(55)とを含む制御部(103)を備え、
車体側には、
前記充電器(10)から入力される電圧を前記バッテリの充電に適した電圧に降圧する充電電圧発生コンバータ(111)と、
前記充電電圧発生コンバータ(111)の出力電圧を前記PDU(45)の駆動電圧に降圧する制御電圧発生コンバータ(112)と、
前記PDU(45)からの指令によって前記充電電圧発生コンバータ(111)の出力を前記バッテリ(4)に接続するコンタクタ(8)とを備えていることを特徴とする電動車両の充電制御装置。 - 前記充電器(10)は、最大出力電流未満では定電圧制御され、最大出力電流以上では出力電圧が降下する垂下特性を有する出力回路(102)を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の電動車両の充電制御装置。
- 前記PDU(45)は、前記充電器(10)からの出力電圧を監視する電圧監視手段と、前記充電電圧発生コンバータ(111)の充電電流を制御する電流制御手段とを備え、
前記電流制御手段が、前記出力電圧が定電圧を維持するように充電電流を制御するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項2記載の電動車両の充電制御装置。 - 前記PDU(45)は、前記充電器(10)からの出力電圧を監視する電圧監視手段を備え、
前記出力電圧が予め設定した充電許容電圧範囲にない場合はバッテリ(4)の充電を禁止することを特徴とする請求項1記載の電動車両の充電制御装置。 - 前記PDU(45)は、前記充電器(10)からの出力電圧を監視する電圧監視手段を備え、
前記出力電圧が予め設定した充電許容電圧範囲にない場合は前記コンタクタ(8)をオフにしてバッテリ(4)の充電を禁止することを特徴とする請求項4記載の電動車両の充電制御装置。 - 前記PDU(45)は、前記バッテリ(4)の満充電を検出する手段を備え、満充電が検出されたときに前記コンタクタ(8)をオフにするとともに、充電停止信号を出力して前記充電器(10)側に通知することを特徴とする請求項4記載の電動車両の充電制御装置。
