Abstract
【解決手段】 可変気筒エンジンで切り換え可能な全てのエンジン運転状態毎に、現在の変速段及び変速後の変速段であるときに、車両の現在の走行状態を維持するのに必要な駆動力を発生するために消費され得る燃料の消費量を算出しておき、現在の変速段の燃料消費量に比較して変速後の変速段の燃料消費量が少ない場合に、変速後の変速段へシフトアップする自動変速制御を許可する。このように、可変気筒エンジンの現在のエンジン運転状態を加味して推定される変速前後の各変速段における燃料消費量に基づいて、変速後の変速段へシフトアップする自動変速制御を許可するようにしたことにより、可変気筒エンジンを備えた車両においても燃料消費量を低減しかつ走行性能を損なわない変速制御を行うことができるようになる。

Claims (5)
- 現在の変速段を検出する現シフト位置検出手段と、
少なくとも車速とアクセルペダル開度とを含む車両の走行状態から所定の変速特性に基づいて、シフトアップ変速後の変速段を決定する変速後シフト位置決定手段と、
全ての気筒を稼働する全筒運転と一部の気筒を休止して運転する休筒運転とに運転状態の切り換えが可能な可変気筒エンジンの現在のエンジン運転状態を取得するエンジン運転状態取得手段と、
前記可変気筒エンジンで切り換え可能な全てのエンジン運転状態毎に、前記検出した現在の変速段及び前記決定した変速後の変速段であるときに、車両の現在の走行状態を維持するのに必要な駆動力を発生するために消費され得る燃料の消費量を算出する算出手段と、
前記算出した燃料消費量に基づいて、前記現在の変速段の燃料消費量に比較して前記変速後の変速段の燃料消費量が少ない場合に、前記変速後の変速段へシフトアップする自動変速制御を許可するシフト位置判定手段と
を備える自動変速機の制御装置。 - 前記シフト位置判定手段は、最も燃料消費量が少ない前記変速後の変速段へシフトアップする自動変速制御を許可すると共に、当該最も燃料消費量が少ないエンジン運転状態が前記取得した現在のエンジン運転状態とは異なる場合には、前記最も燃料消費量が少ないエンジン運転状態に前記可変気筒エンジンの運転状態を切り換える指示を行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動変速機の制御装置。
- 現在の変速段を検出する現シフト位置検出手段と、
車両の現在の走行状態を維持するのに少なくとも必要とされる目標駆動力を算出する駆動力算出手段と、
少なくとも車速とアクセルペダル開度とを含む車両の走行状態から所定の変速特性に基づいて、シフトアップ変速後の変速段を決定する変速後シフト位置決定手段と、
全ての気筒を稼働する全筒運転と一部の気筒を休止して運転する休筒運転とに切り換え可能な可変気筒エンジンの現在のエンジン運転状態を取得するエンジン運転状態取得手段と、
前記取得した現在のエンジン運転状態が休筒運転である場合に、前記決定した変速後の変速段であってかつ現在の休筒運転を維持するのに必要なシフトアップ後の駆動力を算出する仮駆動力算出手段と、
前記算出したシフトアップ後の駆動力が前記目標駆動力よりも上回る場合に、前記変速後の変速段へシフトアップする自動変速制御を許可するシフト位置判定手段と
を備える自動変速機の制御装置。 - 車両の現在の走行状態を維持するのに少なくとも必要とされる目標駆動力を算出する駆動力算出手段と、
前記取得した現在のエンジン運転状態が休筒運転である場合に、前記決定した変速後の変速段であってかつ現在の休筒運転を維持するのにひつようなシフトアップ後の駆動力を算出する仮駆動力算出手段をさらに備えており、
前記シフト位置判定手段は、前記算出したシフトアップ後の駆動力が前記目標駆動力よりも上回る場合であって、かつ、前記算出した燃料消費量に基づいて、前記現在の変速段の燃料消費量に比較して前記変速後の変速段の燃料消費量が少ない場合に、前記変速後の変速段へシフトアップする自動変速制御を許可することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の自動変速機の制御装置。 - 車両の現在の走行状態を維持するのに少なくとも必要とされる目標駆動力を算出する駆動力算出手段と、
前記決定した変速後の変速段に変速後に発生し得るシフトアップ後の駆動力を算出する算出手段をさらに備えており、
前記シフト位置判定手段は、前記算出したシフトアップ後の駆動力が前記目標駆動力よりも上回る場合であって、かつ、前記算出した燃料消費量に基づいて、前記現在の変速段の燃料消費量に比較して前記変速後の変速段の燃料消費量が少ない場合に、前記変速後の変速段へシフトアップする自動変速制御を許可することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の自動変速機の制御装置。
