Abstract
【解決手段】本発明は、渦巻き型電極組立体と、前記渦巻き型電極組立体を単位セル形態でそれぞれ包装し、内部樹脂層および外部樹脂層といった2層構造から形成された樹脂型第1包装材と、前記第1包装材でそれぞれ包装された二つ以上の単位セルをモジュール形態で一度に包装して収納し、密封された構造によって水分およびガスを遮断する金属型第2包装材と、を含み、特に、EV、p-HEV、HEVなどの中型又は大型電池にも適用可能なパウチ型リチウム二次電池を提供する。

Description
実施例1
内部樹脂層30aとして厚み50μmのポリエチレンフィルムと、外部樹脂層30bとして厚み25μmのナイロンフィルムとを積層して樹脂型第1包装材30を製造した後、その一側に深絞り加工により収納部を形成し、他側を覆い形態に折り曲げた。
内部樹脂層30aとして厚み50μmの変性ポリプロピレンフィルムを使用したことを除いては実施例1と同様である。
内部樹脂層として厚み50μmのポリエチレンフィルム、金属層として厚み50μmのアルミニウム金属箔および外部樹脂層として厚み25μmのナイロンフィルムを順次積層してパウチ外装材を製造した後、その一側に深絞り加工により収納部を形成し、他側を覆い形態に折り曲げた。
実験例1
前記実施例および比較例により、一つの渦巻き型電極組立体を第1包装材(又はパウチ外装材)に収納および熱融着して製造された単位電池に対し絶縁特性、初期容量、初期出力などを評価し、その結果を表1に示す。

Claims (10)
- 中型又は大型電池モジュールで構成されたパウチ型リチウム二次電池において、
渦巻き型電極組立体と、
前記渦巻き型(jelly-roll type)電極組立体を単位セル形態でそれぞれ包装し、内部樹脂層および外部樹脂層を含む2層構造から形成された樹脂型第1包装材と、
前記第1包装材でそれぞれ包装された二つ以上の単位セルをモジュール形態で一度に包装して収納する金属型第2包装材と
を含むパウチ型リチウム二次電池。 - 前記内部樹脂層は、ポリオレフィン樹脂、ポリウレタン樹脂、およびポリイミド樹脂の中から選ばれる少なくとも1種以上の材質であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパウチ型リチウム二次電池。
- 前記内部樹脂層は、1層又は2層以上の複数層から形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパウチ型リチウム二次電池。
- 前記内部樹脂層の厚みは、20〜100μmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパウチ型リチウム二次電池。
- 前記外部樹脂層は、1層又は2層以上の複数層から形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパウチ型リチウム二次電池。
- 前記外部樹脂層は、ナイロン又はポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)の材質であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパウチ型リチウム二次電池。
- 前記外部樹脂層の厚みは、20〜100μmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパウチ型リチウム二次電池。
- 前記金属型第2包装材は、アルミニウム又はステンレス鋼の材質であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパウチ型リチウム二次電池。
- 前記内部樹脂層および前記外部樹脂層の間に接着樹脂層をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパウチ型リチウム二次電池。
- 前記接着樹脂層は、ポリオレフィン樹脂又はポリウレタン樹脂の中から選ばれる少なくとも1種以上の材質であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のパウチ型リチウム二次電池。
