Abstract
Description
・ 少なくとも1種のハロゲン化ビニルポリマーと、
・ ハロゲン化ビニルポリマーの重量を基準にして0.1〜5重量%の少なくとも1種のポリマーであって、少なくとも1個の第二級アルコール官能基を含有するC3〜C20炭化水素の中から選択される少なくとも1種の連鎖移動剤を含む液体媒体中で溶液状態で重合することにより得られる少なくとも1種のアクリル酸エステルの少なくとも1種のポリマーと、
を含む組成物に関する。
・ 保護コロイド、たとえば、部分鹸化ポリビニルアルコール、セルロースエーテルなど、
・ モノマーに可溶な開始剤、たとえば、ペルオキシド、たとえば、ジラウリルペルオキシド、ジ−t−ブチルペルオキシド、ジベンゾイルペルオキシドなど、ヒドロペルオキシド、たとえば、t−ブチルヒドロペルオキシドなど、ペルエステル、たとえば、t−ブチルペルピバレート、t−ブチル2−エチルヘキサノエート、t−ブチルペルネオデカノエートなど、ペルカーボネート、たとえば、ジエチルペルオキシジカーボネート、ジイソプロピルペルオキシジカーボネート、ジ−n−ブチルペルオキシジカーボネートなど、アゾ化合物、たとえば、アゾビスイソブチロニトリルなど、
・ pH調整剤、たとえば、緩衝塩、たとえば、リン酸ナトリウム、ポリリン酸ナトリウム、炭酸水素ナトリウムなど、
の存在下で、当業者に周知の方式で行われる。
・ C1〜C8脂肪族モノアルコール、たとえば、メタノール、エタノール、イソプロパノール、n−ブタノール、イソブタノール、n−ヘキサノール、および2−エチルヘキサノールから誘導されるアクリル酸エステルおよびメタクリル酸エステル、さらにはこれらのエステルの混合物、
・ C1〜C8脂肪族ジオール、たとえば、エチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール、および1,4−ブタンジオールから誘導されるアクリル酸エステルおよびメタクリル酸エステル、さらにはこれらのエステルの相互の混合物または脂肪族モノアルコールから誘導される以上に挙げたエステルとの混合物、
が挙げられうる。
・ 光安定剤(たとえば、2−ヒドロキシベンゾフェノン、2−ヒドロキシフェニルベンゾトリアゾール、フェニルサリチレート、および立体障害型アミン)、
・ 熱安定剤(たとえば、スズ、鉛、カルシウム、亜鉛、バリウムの塩、エポキシ化油)、
・ フェノール系酸化防止剤(たとえば、ジ−t−ブチル−パラ−クレゾール、テトラキス{3−(3’,5’−ジ−t−ブチル−4’−ヒドロキシフェニル)}ペンタエリトリトール)、
・ 可塑剤(たとえば、フタレート)、
・ 以上に挙げた天然有機充填剤以外の充填剤(たとえば、カーボネート、ガラス繊維、ガラスビーズ、カオリン、タルク、シリカ、ウォラストナイト、雲母、炭素繊維)、
・ 無機顔料(たとえば、チタン、鉄、亜鉛、クロム、コバルト、およびマンガンから選択される金属の酸化物、混合酸化物、硫化物、クロム酸塩、ケイ酸塩、リン酸塩、および硫酸塩)、
・ 有機顔料(たとえば、アゾ基を含有する顔料およびポルフィリンから誘導される顔料)、
・ 酸スカベンジャー(たとえば、ステアリン酸カルシウムおよび乳酸カルシウム)、
・ 難燃剤および遅炎剤(たとえば、水酸化アルミニウム、水酸化マグネシウム、ホウ酸、ホウ酸アンモニウム、ホウ酸ナトリウム、ホウ酸カルシウム、ホウ酸バリウム、およびホウ酸亜鉛、ならびにヒドロキシスズ酸亜鉛)、
・ 発泡剤(たとえば、重炭酸ナトリウムおよびアゾジカルボンアミド)、
・ 滑剤(たとえば、ステアリン酸金属塩、脂肪酸のジカルボン酸エステル)、
・ 抗菌類剤(たとえば、イソチアゾロン)、
・ 核剤(たとえば、安息香酸ナトリウム)、
・ 加工助剤(たとえば、アクリルエラストマー)、
・ ハロゲン化ビニルポリマーと天然有機充填剤(存在する場合)との間の界面接着を改良するカップリング剤および相溶化剤(たとえば、アミノシラン、メタクリロキシシラン、およびエポキシシラン)、
・ 機械的性質(衝撃など)の改質剤(たとえば、塩素化ポリエチレン、エチレン/酢酸ビニルコポリマー、およびメタクリレート/ブタジエン/スチレンエラストマー、ビーズの形態に架橋されたアクリル酸ブチルエラストマー)、
が挙げられうる。
A. アクリル酸エステルポリマー(ポリマーA)の調製
溶液1と称される溶液を得るために、1164gのアクリル酸n−ブチルと727gのアクリル酸メチルとを標準条件下(20℃、1bar)で混合した。
撹拌機を備えた300Lステンレス鋼製反応器内に、
103Lの脱塩水、
Metocel181という品名で販売されている95gのヒドロキシプロピルメチルセルロース、
90gのトリポリリン酸ナトリウム、
35gのt−ブチルペルネオデカノエート、
50gのジラウリルペルオキシド、および
実施例1の第A部で得られたイソプロパノール中のポリマーAの溶液の形態の0.91kgのポリマーA
を導入した。
この実施例は、比較例として与えられている。
溶液3と称される溶液を得るために、1152gのアクリル酸n−ブチル、720gのアクリル酸メチル、および48gのt−ドデシルメルカプチド(tDDM)(従来の連鎖移動剤)を標準条件下で混合した。
実施例2Rの第A部で得られたメタノール中のポリマーBの溶液の形態の0.91kgのポリマーBを反応器内に導入したこと以外は実施例1の項目Bに記載されるように、この調製を行った。
この実施例は、比較例として与えられている。
実施例2Rの項目Aに記載されるように、この調製を行った。メタノール中のポリマーCの溶液を取り出した。
撹拌機を備えた300Lステンレス鋼製反応器内に、
103Lの脱塩水、
Metocel181という品名で販売されている69gのヒドロキシプロピルメチルセルロース、
63gのトリポリリン酸ナトリウム、
24.5gのt−ブチルペルネオデカノエート、
31.5gのジラウリルペルオキシド、および
実施例3Rの第A部で得られたメタノール中のポリマーCの溶液の形態の0.525kgのポリマーC
を導入した。
この実施例は、比較例として与えられている。
窒素を用いてスパージされた2L反応器内に、300gの蒸留水、30nmの粒径を有する2.4gの33.3%水性ポリスチレンディスパージョンを導入し、攪拌下で90℃に加熱した。次に、200gのアクリル酸ブチルと190gのアクリル酸メチルと10gのt−ドデシルメルカプチド(tDDM)と100gの蒸留水と0.8gのピロリン酸ナトリウムと2gのナトリウムドデシルジフェニルエーテルスルホネートとの混合物の25gを導入した。混合物の残部を3時間かけて徐々に導入した。併行して、100gの水中の0.8gのペルオキシ二硫酸ナトリウムの溶液を3.5時間かけて導入した。90℃で30分間の追加の時間の後、反応器を室温に冷却した。得られたディスパージョンは、43.2%の固形分および5.3のpHを有していた。
撹拌機を備えた300Lステンレス鋼製反応器内に、
103Lの脱塩水、
Metocel181という品名で販売されている75gのヒドロキシプロピルメチルセルロース、
63gのトリポリリン酸ナトリウム、
24.5gのt−ブチルペルネオデカノエート、
31.5gのジラウリルペルオキシド、および
実施例4Rの第A部で得られた水中のポリマーDのディスパージョンの形態の0.525kgのポリマーD
を導入した。
DIN51562規格に準拠してUbbelohdeマイクロ粘度計を用いてシクロヘキサノン中の0.5wt%のポリマー溶液で「K値」を測定した。
ISO13320規格に準拠してレーザー回折を用いてMalvern Instruments装置により平均粒径を測定した。
実施例5Rおよび6Rは、比較例として与えられている。
以下の成分、すなわち、
・ S257RFという名称でSolVin社により販売されている57の「K値」(ISO1628−2規格に準拠して測定)を有する100重量部の塩化ビニルホモポリマー、
・ 2.5重量部の(「一パック」)Ca/Zn安定剤、
・ Paraloid K−125という名称でRohm & Haas社により販売されている1重量部の加工助剤、
・ 飽和脂肪アルコールのジカルボン酸エステルを含む2.75重量部の滑剤、および
・ 10重量部の天然炭酸カルシウム、
を高速混合機(90℃の温度まで)に導入することにより、押出し可能な組成物を作製した。
S260RFという名称でSolVin社により販売されている60の「K値」を有する塩化ビニルホモポリマーで塩化ビニルホモポリマーを置き換えたこと以外は実施例5Rの場合と同様に、組成物(組成物6R)を作製して押し出した。
実施例1に記載したように調製された60の「K値」を有する塩化ビニルポリマーで塩化ビニルホモポリマーを置き換えたこと以外は実施例5Rの場合と同様に、組成物(組成物7)を作製して押し出した。
Claims (15)
- ・ 少なくとも1種のハロゲン化ビニルポリマーと、
・ 前記ハロゲン化ビニルポリマーの重量を基準にして0.1〜5重量%の少なくとも1種のポリマーであって、少なくとも1個の第二級アルコール官能基を含有するC3〜C20炭化水素の中から選択される少なくとも1種の連鎖移動剤を含む液体媒体中で溶液状態で重合することにより得られる少なくとも1種のアクリル酸エステルの少なくとも1種のポリマーと、
を含む、組成物。 - 前記ハロゲン化ビニルポリマーが塩化ビニルポリマーであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記アクリル酸エステルポリマーが、C1〜C8脂肪族モノアルコールから誘導されるアクリル酸エステルのポリマーであることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の組成物。
- 前記連鎖移動剤が、1個の第二級アルコール官能基を含有するC3〜C20炭化水素の中から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記連鎖移動剤が、1個の第二級アルコール官能基を含有するC3〜C8炭化水素の中から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の組成物。
- 前記連鎖移動剤が、前記液体媒体を構成することを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 少なくとも1種の天然有機充填剤をさらに含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記天然有機充填剤が、微粉または繊維の形態の低密度または高密度の木材であることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の組成物。
- ハロゲン化ビニルおよびその任意選択のコモノマーが、前記アクリル酸エステルポリマーの溶液の存在下で水性サスペンジョン状態で重合されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の組成物の製造方法。
- 少なくとも1個の第二級アルコール官能基を含有するC3〜C20炭化水素の中から選択される少なくとも1種の連鎖移動剤を含む液体媒体中でアクリル酸エステルが溶液状態で重合されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の組成物で使用可能な少なくとも1種のアクリル酸エステルのポリマーの製造方法。
- 前記連鎖移動剤が、1個の第二級アルコール官能基を含有するC3〜C8炭化水素の中から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記連鎖移動剤が、前記液体媒体を構成することを特徴とする、請求項10または11に記載の方法。
- アクリル酸エステルの重量(kg)と連鎖移動剤の体積(L)との比が、1.5/1以上かつ5/1以下であることを特徴とする、請求項10〜12のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の組成物を含む、物品または物品の部品。
- カレンダー加工を介してシートおよびフィルムを製造するためのまたは押出しにより形材を製造するための、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の組成物の使用。
