Abstract
【解決手段】パイロット情報を含む基準信号が、パイロットチャネル上で基地局から1つまたは複数のフィールド装置に伝送される。また、メッセージは、基準信号がパイロットチャネル上で伝送される有効放射パワーレベルを示すために、ページングチャネル上でフィールド装置にも送信される。フィールド装置での基準信号の受信パワーレベル及び基準信号の有効放射パワーレベルに基づき、フォワード経路損失が、基地局とフィールド装置間のフォワードリンクについてフィールド装置で推定される。リバースリンクでの経路損失が該推定されるフォワードリンク経路損失とほぼ同じであると仮定して、フィールド装置は、基地局が通常所望されるパワーレベルでメッセージを受信するように、リバースリンクで応答メッセージを伝送することができる。

Description
本発明の好ましい実施形態が、次に記載される。
図1は、本発明の或る構成による多数の割り当てられた通信チャネル上のデータ情報の送信をサポートするワイヤレス通信システムを示すブロックダイアグラムである。多くのワイヤレス通信システムに於ける様にユーザは、ワイヤレス帯域幅割り当てをめぐって競合する。従って、ワイヤレス通信10は、データスループットおよび一定の用途ではデータスループットの高速バーストのために最適化されることが望ましい。
Claims (10)
- 加入者装置でアクセス手順を実施するための方法であって、
第1の信号を基地局に送信するステップであって、前記第1の信号は前記基地局に関連付けられたネットワークへのアクセスを要求することに関連し、第1のパワーレベルで送信される、ステップと、
前記第1の信号に応答して前記基地局から第1のメッセージを受信するステップであって、前記第1のメッセージはアクセス要求メッセージを前記基地局にアップリンク共有チャネルを介して送信するためのタイミング及びパワー調節情報と、前記加入者装置に関連付けられた識別情報とを含む、ステップと、
前記タイミング及びパワー調節情報に従って、前記アクセス要求メッセージを前記基地局に前記アップリンク共有チャネルを介して送信するステップであって、前記アクセス要求メッセージは通信リンクの要求と前記加入者装置に関連付けられた前記識別情報とを含む、ステップと、
前記アクセス要求メッセージに応答して前記基地局から第2のメッセージを受信するステップと、
前記加入者装置によって送信された前記アクセス要求メッセージが前記基地局によって正しく受信されたかを前記第2のメッセージの処理を受けて判断するステップと、
前記アクセス要求メッセージが前記基地局により正しく受信されなかった場合に、第2の信号を前記基地局に第2のパワーレベルで送信するステップであって、前記第2の信号は前記基地局に関連付けられた前記ネットワークへのアクセスを要求することに関連する、ステップと
を備えることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記第2のメッセージの処理が前記アクセス要求メッセージは前記基地局によって正しく受信されなかったことを示す場合に、前記信号を再送信するステップをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第2のメッセージの処理が前記アクセス要求メッセージは前記基地局によって正しく受信されたことを示す場合に、通信リンクが確立されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記確立された通信リンクは双方向トラフィック通信リンクであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記第1のメッセージは前記加入者装置に関連付けられた前記識別情報を提供し、前記アクセス要求メッセージに含まれることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- アクセス手順を実施するための加入者装置であって、
第1の信号を基地局に送信するように構成された送信手段であって、前記第1の信号は前記基地局に関連付けられたネットワークへのアクセスを要求することに関連し、第1のパワーレベルで送信される、送信手段と、
前記第1の信号に応答して前記基地局から第1のメッセージを受信するように構成された受信手段であって、前記第1のメッセージはアクセス要求メッセージを前記基地局にアップリンク共有チャネルを介して送信するためのタイミング及びパワー調節情報と、前記加入者装置に関連付けられた識別情報とを含む、受信手段と、
前記タイミング及びパワー調節情報に従って、前記アクセス要求メッセージを前記基地局に前記アップリンク共有チャネルを介して送信するようにさらに構成された前記送信手段であって、前記アクセス要求メッセージは通信リンクの要求と前記加入者装置に関連付けられた前記識別情報とを含む、前記送信手段と、
前記アクセス要求メッセージに応答して前記基地局から第2のメッセージを受信するようにさらに構成された前記受信手段と、
前記加入者装置によって送信された前記アクセス要求メッセージが前記基地局によって正しく受信されたかを前記第2のメッセージの処理を受けて判断するように構成された回路と、
前記アクセス要求メッセージが前記基地局により正しく受信されなかった場合に、第2の信号を前記基地局に第2のパワーレベルで送信するようにさらに構成された前記送信手段であって、前記第2の信号は前記基地局に関連付けられた前記ネットワークへのアクセスを要求することに関連する、前記送信手段と
を備えることを特徴とする加入者装置。 - 前記送信手段は、前記第2のメッセージの処理が前記アクセス要求メッセージは前記基地局によって正しく受信されなかったことを示す場合に、前記信号を再送信するようにさらに構成されていることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の加入者装置。
- 前記第2のメッセージの処理が前記アクセス要求メッセージは前記基地局によって正しく受信されたことを示す場合に、通信リンクが確立されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の加入者装置。
- 前記確立された通信リンクは双方向トラフィック通信リンクであることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の加入者装置。
- 前記第1のメッセージは前記加入者装置に関連付けられた前記識別情報を提供し、前記アクセス要求メッセージに含まれることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の加入者装置。
