Abstract
Description
開示した動力システムは、過渡負荷時に排気ガスを効果的に低減することができる。特に、動力貯蔵装置22は、動力源16の空燃比がしきい値未満に落ちたときに、動力源16を補助することができる。これは、動力源16にかかる負荷を低減することができ、それによって、排気ガスの温度を臨界温度よりも低く維持して、排気ガスの量を低減することができる。駆動伝達系14の動作を以下に説明する。
Claims (10)
- 動力出力を生成する動力源(16)と、
動力を蓄積し、これを配給する動力貯蔵装置(22)と、
動力貯蔵装置に蓄積された動力量が、現在動力源が生成している動力量と所望する動力出力との差よりも多く、かつ動力源に流入する燃料の比率がしきい値燃料率を超える場合に、動力源を補助するために、動力貯蔵装置から動力を配給させるように構成されたコントローラ(24)と、
を含む駆動伝達系(14)であって、しきい値燃料率とは、動力源を補助することにより駆動伝達系の効率が高くなる燃料率である、駆動伝達系。 - コントローラは、動力貯蔵装置から利用可能な動力が、現在動力源が生成している動力量と所望の動力出力との差よりも小さい場合に、動力貯蔵装置から動力を配給させないように構成される、請求項1に記載の駆動伝達系。
- しきい値燃料率とは動力源の燃料限界であり、燃料限界とは、それを超えては、動力源に流入した燃料すべてが完全には燃焼しない燃料率であり、コントローラは、燃料率がしきい値燃料率を超えた場合に燃料率を大きくさせないように構成される、請求項2に記載の駆動伝達系。
- しきい値燃料率は、動力源の燃料限界未満の比率であり、燃料限界とは、それを超えては、動力源に流入した燃料すべてが完全には燃焼しない燃料率であり、コントローラは、燃料率が燃料限界を超えた場合に燃料率を大きくさせないように構成される、請求項2に記載の駆動伝達系。
- 駆動伝達系(14)を動作させる方法であって、
動力源(16)に流入する燃料の比率を示す第1のパラメータを検出する工程と、
動力源が生成した動力量を示す第2のパラメータを検出する工程と、
動力源に流入する燃料の比率がしきい値燃料率を超える場合に、動力源を補助するために動力貯蔵装置(22)から動力を配給する工程であって、しきい値燃料率とは、動力源を補助することにより駆動伝達系の効率が高くなる燃料率である工程と、
を含む方法。 - しきい値燃料率とは動力源の燃料限界であり、燃料限界とは、それを超えては、動力源に流入した燃料のすべてが完全には燃焼しない燃料率である、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 燃料率がしきい値燃料率を超えた場合に燃料率を大きくさせないようにすることをさらに含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- しきい値燃料率とは、動力源の燃料限界未満の比率であり、燃料限界とは、それを超えては、動力源に流入した燃料のすべてが完全には燃焼しない燃料率である、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 燃料率が燃料限界を超えた場合に燃料率を大きくさせないようにすることをさらに含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 所望の動力出力を要求するオペレータからの入力を受け取る工程と、
動力貯蔵装置に蓄積された動力量を示す第3のパラメータを検出する工程と、
動力貯蔵装置に蓄積された動力量が、現在動力源が生成している動力量との間の差よりも多い場合に、動力蓄積装置から動力を配給する工程と、
をさらに含む、請求項5〜9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
