Abstract
【解決手段】電極積層ユニット12は、正極13と負極14とが、セパレータ15を介して、正極13が外側に配置されるようにして交互に積層されており、最外部にリチウム極16が配置されている。リチウム極16のリチウム極集電体24は、炭素電極(炭素材)25が塗布されており、これにリチウムイオン供給源としての金属リチウム26が貼り付けられている。このように、リチウム極集電体24を炭素電極25で被覆したので、セル構造の大きな変更や構成要素の材料変更を伴わずに、蓄電デバイス10のサイクル特性を向上させることができる。また、リチウム極集電体24上のリチウムイオン供給源の微粉残留を防ぐことができる。

Description
〔正極の作製〕初期放電容量が340mAh、粒度(D50)が3.3μmとなるように正極活物質V2O5を、湿度を所定範囲に保った室内にて合成した。この正極活物質を、バインダーとしてのPVdF3重量%および導電性粒子としてのケッチェンブラック2重量%と混合し、溶媒としてN-メチルピロリドン(NMP)を用いてスラリーにした。その後、スラリーを、正極集電体としての多孔質のAl箔上に、ドクターブレード法によって塗工した。スラリーは、片面当たりの合材密度が、2g/cm3となるように、均一に塗布して成型し、126×97mm四方に裁断して正極とした。
実施例におけるリチウム極集電体に、炭素電極を塗布しなかった以外は同様にして、リチウムイオン二次電池を得た。

- 正極と、負極と、リチウム極集電体およびリチウムイオン供給源を有するリチウム極とを備える蓄電デバイスであって、
前記リチウム極集電体を炭素材で被覆したことを特徴とする蓄電デバイス。 - 請求項1に記載の蓄電デバイスであって、
前記炭素材の少なくとも一方面に前記リチウムイオン供給源を配置したことを特徴とする蓄電デバイス。 - 請求項1または2に記載の蓄電デバイスであって、
前記炭素材は、リチウムインターカレーション炭素材料を含むことを特徴とする蓄電デバイス。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の蓄電デバイスにおいて、
リチウムイオン電池であることを特徴とする蓄電デバイス。
