Abstract
【解決手段】二次電池は、第1電極111、第2電極112および第1電極と第2電極の間のセパレーター113を含む電極組立体110と、電極組立体を内部に収容し、上部が開放され、下部に複数個の電解液流通孔176が形成される絶縁バッグ170と、電極組立体と絶縁バッグを内部に収容するケース120とを含む。製造方法は、絶縁フィルムを準備するステップS10と、絶縁フィルムを折畳むステップS20と、絶縁フィルムの折畳み部に複数個の電解液流通孔を形成するステップS30と、折畳んだ絶縁フィルムの両側端部をシーリングして上部が開放された袋状の絶縁バッグを形成するステップS40と、絶縁バッグの内部に電極組立体を収容するステップS50と、絶縁バッグと電極組立体をケースの内部に収容するステップS60とを含む。

Claims (20)
- 第1電極、第2電極、および前記第1電極と前記第2電極の間のセパレーターを含む電極組立体と、
前記電極組立体を内部に収容し、上部が開放され、下部に複数個の電解液流通孔が形成される絶縁バッグと、
前記電極組立体および前記絶縁バッグを内部に収容するケースと
を含むことを特徴とする二次電池。 - 前記電極組立体の第1電極に電気的に連結される第1導電板と、前記電極組立体の第2電極に電気的に連結される第2導電板と、前記第1導電板と前記第2導電板との間に位置する絶縁フィルムとを含めて形成され、前記電極組立体と前記絶縁バッグとの間に介在される安全部材をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記絶縁バッグの電解液流通孔の上端は、前記安全部材の下端より低く形成されることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記絶縁バッグは、前記電極組立体と前記ケースの広い側面との間に介在される第1側面部と、前記第1側面部と対向し、前記電極組立体と前記ケースの他の広い側面との間に介在される第2側面部と、前記第1側面部の下端と前記第2側面部の下端を繋ぐように形成される下面部とを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電解液流通孔は、前記下面部より延長されて前記第1側面部および前記第2側面部にも形成されることを特徴とする、請求項4記載の二次電池。
- 前記絶縁バッグは、前記第1側面部の一側端と前記第2側面部の一側端を繋ぐように形成される第3側面部と、前記第1側面部の他側端と前記第2側面部の他側端とを繋ぐように形成される第4側面部とをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第3側面部と前記第4側面部は、中央部に形成されるシーリング部と、前記シーリング部より前記第1側面部に向かって延長される第1サブ側面部と、前記シーリング部より前記第2側面部に向かって延長される第2サブ側面部とをそれぞれに含むことを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1側面部、前記第2側面部、前記第3側面部および前記第4側面部の上端は、前記電極組立体の上端より高く形成されることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電解液流通孔は、広げた形状が四角形または円形であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記ケースを密封するキャッププレートをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記絶縁バッグは、ポリプロピレンで形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 絶縁フィルムを準備する絶縁フィルム準備ステップと、
前記絶縁フィルムを折畳む折畳みステップと、
前記絶縁フィルムの折畳み部に複数個の電解液流通孔を形成する電解液流通孔形成ステップと、
前記折畳んだ絶縁フィルムの両側端部をシーリングして上部が開放された袋状の絶縁バッグを形成するシーリングステップと、
前記絶縁バッグの内部に、第1電極、第2電極、および前記第1電極と前記第2電極との間のセパレーターを含む電極組立体を収容する電極組立体収容ステップと、
前記絶縁バッグおよび前記電極組立体をケースの内部に収容する絶縁バッグ収容ステップと
を含むことを特徴とする二次電池の製造方法。 - 前記電極組立体は、前記第1電極また前記第2電極に電気的に接続される安全部材をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記電極組立体収容ステップで、前記絶縁バッグの前記電解液流通孔の上端は前記安全部材の下端より低く形成されることを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記シーリングステップは、熱融着工程によって行われることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記電解液流通孔形成ステップで、前記電解液流通孔は、前記絶縁フィルムの折畳み部を半円、三角形および四角形のうち何れか一つの形状に切削して形成されることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記電極組立体収容ステップで、前記絶縁バッグの上端は前記電極組立体の上端より高く形成されることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記絶縁バッグ収容ステップの後に、前記ケースを電解液注入口が形成されているキャッププレートで密封するキャッププレート密封ステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記キャッププレート密封ステップの後に、前記キャッププレートの前記電解液注入口を介して前記ケースの内部に電解液を注入する電解液注入ステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項18に記載の二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記絶縁フィルムは、ポリプロピレンで形成されることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の二次電池の製造方法。
