Abstract
Description
Claims (13)
- 巻き上げ型電極アセンブリー(「ゼリー-ロール」)であって、
カソードシートとアノードシートとの間にセパレータが挿入され、前記カソードシート及び前記アノードシートが丸く巻き上げられているか、又は前記アセンブリーが巻き上げた後に一方向に圧縮されてなる構造に構築されてなり、
前記ゼリー-ロールが、前記ゼリー-ロールの巻き上げた外側末端に形成された活性材料が塗布されていない部分と;前記ゼリー-ロールの巻き上げた外側末端に取り付けられ、前記活性材料が塗布されていない部分を包含する前記ゼリー-ロールの巻き上げた外側を覆う導電性テープと;及び前記活性材料が塗布されていない部分の内側に取り付けられ、活性材料層の高さの50〜200%に等しい厚さを有する弾性部材とを包含してなる、巻き上げ型電極アセンブリー。 - 前記弾性部材が、前記活性材料が塗布されていない部分の内側に連結されてなり、
前記弾性部材の厚さが、前記活性材料層の高さの90〜130%に等しいものである、請求項1に記載のゼリー-ロール。 - 前記弾性部材の片側の末端が、前記活性材料が塗布されていない部分に接着により連結されてなる、請求項1に記載のゼリー-ロール。
- 前記弾性部材の片側の末端が、前記活性材料が塗布されていない部分に、アクリル接着剤又はSBR接着剤により連結されてなる、請求項3に記載のゼリー-ロール。
- 前記弾性部材が、前記活性材料が塗布されていない部分の内側に取り付けられてなり、
前記弾性部材の高さが、前記ゼリー-ロールの幅の70〜100%に等しいものである、請求項1に記載のゼリー-ロール。 - 前記弾性部材が、弾性材料から製造されてなる、請求項1に記載のゼリー-ロール。
- 前記弾性材料が、ゴムまたは多孔質材料である、請求項6に記載のゼリー-ロール。
- 前記多孔質材料が、スポンジ及びスチレンフォームからなる群から選択された絶縁性材料である、請求項7に記載のゼリー-ロール。
- 前記ゼリー-ロールが、円形または長円形断面を有する、請求項1に記載のゼリー-ロール。
- 前記導電性テープが、薄い金属ホイルベースと、及び前記薄い金属ホイルベースに塗布された、導電性金属粉末を含む接着剤層とを包含してなり、
前記導電性テープが、前記ゼリー-ロールの巻き上げ末端に取り付けられてなる、請求項1に記載のゼリー-ロール。 - 前記導電性テープの対向末端が、前記ゼリー-ロールの外周長さの5〜15%の範囲で、互いに重なり合っている、請求項1に記載のゼリー-ロール。
- 請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載のゼリー-ロールがバッテリーケース中に取り付けられた構造に構築されてなる、二次バッテリー。
- 前記バッテリーケースが円筒形またはプリズム形金属容器である、請求項12に記載の二次バッテリー。
