− 蒸発法
・熱蒸発(蒸着としても知られる)
・電子ビーム蒸着
・パルス化レーザ沈積、パルス化レーザアブレーション:原子及びイオンが短く強力なレーザパルスで気化される。
・アーク‐PVD蒸着:元素及びイオンが元の材料から放出され、強力な電流により気体相に変換され、これが放電となって2電極間を流れる。
・分子ビームエピタキシー
スパッタリング(スパッタ沈積、陰極アトマイゼーション):元の材料がイオン衝撃により噴霧化され、気体相に変換される。

Claims (13)
- 支持材料と耐摩耗性被膜で構成されるピストンリングであって、
耐摩耗性被膜が、PVD法で成膜される3成分系A−B−Nから成り、ここでA及びBは各々Ti、Zr、Hf、V、Nb、Ta、Cr、Mo、W、Al、Si及びCを包含する群から選ばれた元素であり、A≠B、Nは窒素を表し、耐摩耗性被膜の厚みは≧3μmであることを特徴とするピストンリング。 - 3成分系がA−Cr−Nから成ることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のピストンリング。
- 耐摩耗性被膜がZr1−xCrxNyから成り、ここでx=0.1〜0.85、y=0.5〜1であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のピストンリング。
- 耐摩耗性被膜がZr1−xCrxNyから成り、ここでx=0.44〜0.85、y=0.8〜1であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のピストンリング。
- 耐摩耗性被膜がV1−xCxNyから成り、ここでx=0.85〜0.1、y=0.5〜1であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のピストンリング。
- 耐摩耗性被膜がV1−xCxNyから成り、ここでx=0.3〜0.8、y=0.5〜1であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のピストンリング。
- 耐摩耗性被膜がTi1−xCrxNyから成り、ここでx=0.1〜0.85、y=0.5〜1であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のピストンリング。
- 耐摩耗性被膜がTi1−xCrxNyから成り、ここでx=0.6〜0.1、y=0.5〜1であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のピストンリング。
- 耐摩耗性被膜の厚みが5〜60μmであることを特徴とする請求項1〜8何れか1つに記載のピストンリング。
- 耐摩耗性被膜の厚みが5〜15μmであることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のピストンリング。
- 耐摩耗性被膜の厚みが25〜35μmであることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のピストンリング。
- 耐摩耗性被膜が反応性アーク法で成膜されることを特徴とする請求項1〜11何れか1つに記載のピストンリング。
- 支持材料が鋼又は鋳鉄材料であることを特徴とする請求項1〜12何れか1つに記載のピストンリング。
