Abstract
【解決手段】 コーナー組立体は、サスペンションモジュール、および、ホイール組立体を含む。コーナー組立体の指定された高さに対して、公差の積み重ねを補償するために、サスペンションモジュールのダンパーと、ホイール組立体のナックルとの間のアタッチメントは、調整される。調整の量は、サスペンションモジュールの組立てられた長さを測定し、測定された長さを標準の長さと比較し、および、必要な調整の量を決定することによって決定される。

Description
本出願は、2007年2月20日に出願の米国仮出願番号第60/890,637号の利益を主張するものである。上記の出願の開示は、本願明細書に引用したものとする。
本開示は、車両に対して指定された車高(vehicle height)を設定することに関する。さらに詳しくは、本開示は、正確な車高の公差(tolerances)を達成する車両懸垂装置(vehicle suspension systems)に利用される位置決め形態(positioning feature)、および、位置決め方法に関する。
Claims (17)
- サスペンションモジュールと、
前記サスペンションモジュールに取り付けられるホイール組立体と、
前記サスペンションモジュールの測定された長さを調整することによって前記コーナー組立体の指定された高さを設定する手段とを具備するコーナー組立体。 - 前記設定する手段は、前記サスペンションモジュールと、前記ホイール組立体との間に配置されたシムを具備する請求項1に係るコーナー組立体。
- 前記シムは、前記サスペンションモジュールの増加する直径部分に係合する請求項2に係るコーナー組立体。
- 前記シムは、前記サスペンションモジュールに取り付けられるシートに係合する請求項2に係るコーナー組立体。
- 前記シートは、前記サスペンションモジュールの増加する直径部分に係合する請求項4に係るコーナー組立体。
- 前記設定する手段は、必要な補償の量を特定している特定のカラーコードを具備する請求項1に係るコーナー組立体。
- サスペンションモジュール、および、ホイール組立体を含んでいるコーナー組立体の指定された長さを設定する方法であって、
前記サスペンションモジュールの長さを測定することと、
前記指定された長さを達成するように必要とされる長さ調整の量を決定することと、
前記測定された長さから前記指定された長さまで前記サスペンションモジュールの前記測定された長さを調整することとを具備する方法。 - 前記測定された長さを調整する工程は、シムを前記サスペンションモジュールに提供することを具備する請求項7の方法。
- 前記測定された長さを調整する工程は、調整の量を示しているカラーコードを前記サスペンションモジュールに提供することを具備する請求項7の方法。
- 前記測定された長さを調整する工程は、前記コーナー組立体の組立の間、前記調整の量を補償することを具備する請求項9の方法。
- 測定点として、シートまたは前記サスペンションモジュールを提供することを更に具備し、
前記サスペンションモジュールの長さを測定する工程は、前記シートから前記サスペンションモジュール上の基準点までの距離を測定することを具備している、請求項7の方法。 - 上部マウント組立体と、
前記上部マウント組立体に取り付けられるダンパーと、
前記ダンパーに取り付けられるホイール組立体と、
前記ダンパーと、前記ホイール組立体との間のディメンションを調整することによって前記コーナー組立体の指定された高さを設定する手段とを具備するコーナー組立体。 - 前記設定する手段は、前記ダンパーと、前記ホイール組立体との間に配置されたシムを具備する請求項12に係るコーナー組立体。
- 前記シムは、前記ダンパーの増加する直径部分に係合する請求項13に係るコーナー組立体。
- 前記シムは、前記ダンパーに取り付けられるシートに係合する請求項13に係るコーナー組立体。
- 前記シートは、前記ダンパーの増加する直径部分に係合する請求項15に係るコーナー組立体。
- 前記設定する手段は、必要な補償の量を特定している特定のカラーコードを具備する請求項12に係るコーナー組立体。
