Claims (21)
- パイプ腐食を抑制する方法であって、
(a)多孔質断熱材を細長いアーチ形状に形成する工程と、
(b)コポリマー/ケイ酸ナトリウム溶液層を、少なくとも前記断熱材の外表面と、少なくとも部分的に前記断熱材の孔隙内とに適用する工程と、
(c)前記コポリマー/ケイ酸ナトリウム溶液層をある閾値量まで凝固させる工程と、
(d)前記凝固させる工程が達成された後で、前記コポリマー/ケイ酸ナトリウム溶液層に外側保護被覆を接着する工程と、
(e)工程(a)〜(d)で作製された製品をパイプまたは機器部品の外表面上に装備する工程と、
(f)工程(e)で装備された隣接製品間もしくは前記保護被覆の重なり合うシート間の、露出されたエッジ部または継ぎ目を封止する工程とを含む方法。 - 前記断熱材が、ケイ酸カルシウム、鉱物繊維、岩鉱物ウール、スラグ鉱物ウール、パーライト、ファイバーグラス、またはこれらの組合せから構成される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記接着する工程が、介在層なしに、連続的な外側保護被覆を前記コポリマー/ケイ酸ナトリウム溶液層に接着する工程を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記形成する工程が、チューブを画定するように結合可能な第1および第2の細長いアーチ形断熱部材を形成する工程を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1および第2の細長い断熱部材が外側保護被覆によって少なくとも部分的に相互連結される、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記第1および第2の細長い断熱部材を境界面に沿って互いに結合させる追加工程を含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記第1および第2の細長い断熱部材がそれぞれの第1および第2のエッジ部を有しており、前記結合させる工程が、前記それぞれの第1および第2のエッジ部を互いに結合させる、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記結合させる工程が、前記それぞれの第1および第2のエッジ部をコポリマー/ケイ酸ナトリウム溶液から構成される糊によって結合させる工程を含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記適用する工程が、前記コポリマー/ケイ酸ナトリウム溶液を前記断熱材上にブラシ塗りする工程を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記適用する工程が、前記コポリマー/ケイ酸ナトリウム溶液を前記断熱材上に低い圧力でスプレーする工程を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記保護被覆が、箔と、プラスチックフィルムと、任意でファイバーグラス布との多層積層体を含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- パイプ腐食を抑制する方法であって、
(a)前記パイプの周りに多孔質断熱材を配置する工程と、
(b)コポリマー/ケイ酸ナトリウム溶液層を、前記断熱材と少なくとも部分的に前記断熱材の孔隙内とに、コーティングとして適用する工程と、
(c)前記適用されたケイ酸ナトリウム溶液層が依然として粘着性である間に、前記コポリマー/ケイ酸ナトリウム溶液層に外側保護被覆を接着する工程とを含む方法。 - 前記配置する工程が、前記パイプを第1および第2の細長いアーチ形断熱部材で取り囲む工程を含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- パイプの外側表面用の複合構造であって、
(a)多孔質材料から作製される断熱材を含んでおり、前記断熱材が、前記パイプの外側表面に相補的となるようにサイズ設定された内表面と、外表面とを有する、細長いアーチ形状を有しており、前記複合構造がさらに、
(b)コポリマー/ケイ酸ナトリウム層であって、この層に結合接触する前記外表面上と、前記断熱材の孔隙内とにある、コポリマー/ケイ酸ナトリウム層と、
(c)一体型複合構造を画定するようにコポリマー/ケイ酸ナトリウム層に接合された外側保護被覆とを含む複合構造。 - 前記多孔質断熱材が、ケイ酸カルシウム、鉱物繊維、岩鉱物ウール、スラグ鉱物ウール、パーライト、ファイバーグラス、またはこれらの組合せから構成される、請求項14に記載の複合構造。
- 前記コポリマー/ケイ酸ナトリウム溶液層が、介在層のない前記断熱材の前記外表面上に直接配置される、請求項14に記載の複合構造。
- 前記外側断熱表面に結合される前記コポリマー/ケイ酸ナトリウム溶液層が、7.5%〜15%のケイ酸ナトリウムおよびエラストマーコポリマーで構成される、請求項14に記載の複合構造。
- 前記外側保護被覆が、金属箔と、プラスチックフィルムと、任意でファイバーグラス布との積層体から構成される、請求項14に記載の複合構造。
- 前記ケイ酸ナトリウム溶液が、約57cP〜約80,000cPにわたる粘度を有する、請求項14に記載の複合構造。
- 前記コポリマー/ケイ酸ナトリウム溶液が、前記断熱材の前記孔隙内に広がるのに十分な粘度を有する、請求項14に記載の複合構造。
- 断熱材/保護被覆複合構造の構築のためのキットであって、
(a)それぞれ多孔質の外面を有する、第1および第2の細長いアーチ形断熱部材と、
(b)少なくとも前記断熱部材の外表面上とその孔隙内とに配置された、コポリマー/ケイ酸ナトリウム層と、
(c)前記断熱部材の周りに装備するための保護被覆と、
(d)前記2つの断熱部材を接合するように作用する感圧接着剤で構成された離型層と、
(e)装備された保護被覆間のクラックまたはエッジ部を封止するためのコンタクト接着剤とを含むキット。
