- 空のストロー(p)を収容するホッパー(2)と、ストロー充填ステーション(5)と、ストロー(p)を受け取って保持する複数のストロー受け取り保持用エレメント(9)を備えると共に前記ホッパーから取り出されたストローを搬送して前記充填ステーション(5)に送り込む搬送手段(3)とを装備した精液充填装置において、直径の異なる二種以上のカテゴリーのストロー(p1、p2)の処理に適合するように前記複数のストロー受け取り保持用エレメント(9)が選択的に使用される少なくとも二つの系列に分けられており、一方の系列のエレメント(90)は前記二種のカテゴリーのうちで直径が大きいほうのストロー(p1)に適合するように構成され、他方の系列のエレメント(91)は前記二種のカテゴリーのうちで直径の小さいほうのストロー(p2)に適合するように構成されていることを特徴とする精液充填装置。
- 搬送手段(3)がエンドレス形であり、各カテゴリーの前記エレメント(90、91)のそれぞれの系列が互いに隣接する複数のエレメント(90、91)から成る複数の群を構成し、これらのカテゴリーの群は互いに群同士で交互に並び、充填ステーション(5)が隣接するエレメントの群のうちの一つの群によって支持されている複数のストローに対して一回の処理で同時に精液を充填するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 二種のカテゴリーに属する各群がそれぞれ同一個数のエレメント (90、 91) を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記エレメント(9)がストローを嵌め込むための溝又はノッチであることを特徴とする請求項2〜3のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 溝又はノッチ(9)間の間隔ピッチが搬送手段の全長に亘って一定であり、且つ溝又はノッチのカテゴリーには無関係であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の装置。
- コンピュータ(83)による制御で断続的なステップ動作を行う電動機(M)を備え、該電動機によって搬送手段(3)を小ピッチの前進段階と該小ピッチの倍数に相当する大ピッチの前進段階と休止段階との繰り返し運動で継続に駆動可能であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 搬送手段(3)がホッパーの送出口位置に設置された回転バレルであり、該回転バレルが互いに互いに一体化された二つの同軸円板(30、31)で構成され、各同軸円板の周縁部に複数のストロー受け取り保持用エレメント(9)が配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記ホッパー(2)が搬送手段(3)の前進運動に同期してストロー(p)を一本ずつ分配する手段(7、70)を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記ホッパー(2)が着脱可能であると共に該ホッパーに収容されているストローのカテゴリーを識別する識別手段(25、25’)を備え、更に前記ホッパーが所定位置に装着される際に前記識別手段(25、25’)と連携して充填されるべきストローのカテゴリーを自動判定する検知手段(8)が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記検知手段(8)が搬送手段(3)を駆動する電動機(M)の制御及び命令装置(83)に接続されており、該制御及び命令装置は、精液充填装置のスタートアップ時にストロー受け取り保持用エレメント(9)のうちで処理対象のストロー(p)の直径に適合する方のエレメントが有効状態に、適合しない方のエレメントが無効状態となるように搬送手段の位置を指示可能であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の装置。
- 一端部又は遠位端が当初は多孔質であるが液体に浸されると水密に変化する栓(b)によって閉塞されているストローに液体を充填するのに適合した精液充填装置であって、充填ステーション(5)よりも上流位置に配置された別のステーション(4)を備え、この別のステーション(4)がストローの他端部又は近位端を通じて少量(g)の殺精子性を持たない非粘着性液体(L)を導入するステーションであることを特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 一端部又は遠位端が当初は多孔質であるが液体に浸されると水密に変化する栓(b)によって閉塞されているストローに液体を充填するのに適合した精液充填装置であって、前記充填ステーション(5)が、ストローの他端部又は近位端から精液(S)を導入する手段 (5a)と、該ストローの一端部又は遠位端から前記栓(b)を介して吸引することにより前記他端部又は近位端側から精液(S)及び予めストローに導入されている少量の液体(L)をストロー内に引き込む手段とを有することを特徴とする請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 充填ステーション (5) の下流位置にストローの一端部又は遠位端を超音波溶接で封止するためのステーション (6) が配置されていることを特徴とする請求項11又は12にに記載の装置。
- 前記溶接ステーションが、支承用アンビルと対をなす超音波発生電極を備え、該超音波発生電極にはストローの近位端をグリップするための鋸歯状の切り欠きが付加され、これらの切り欠きが互い違いに並ぶ二群(600A, 610A;600B, 610B)に細分され、これら各群の切り欠きの一方が前記二種のカテゴリーのうちで直径が小さいほうのストロー(p2)の溶接に、他方が前記二種のカテゴリーのうちで直径が大きいほうのストロー(p1)の溶接にそれぞれ適合しており、更に充填されるべきストローのカテゴリーに応じて二種の切り欠き群の一方を有効状態に、他方を無効状態にするように超音波発生電極とアンビルを共にシフトさせる制御手段が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の装置
- 搬送手段(3)がホッパーの送出口位置に設置された回転バレルであり、該回転バレルが互いに一体化された二つの同軸円板(30、31)で構成され、各同軸円板の周縁部に複数のストロー受け取り保持用エレメント(9)が配置されている精液充填装置であって、二つの固定傾斜路(150、151)を更に備え、一方の固定傾斜路(150)はストロー(p)が溶接ステーション(6)に到着する直前に該ストローの近位端が前記同軸円板のうちの一方の円板(30)のストロー受け取り保持用エレメントから引き抜かれることを保証する外形を有し、他方の固定傾斜路(151)はストロー(p)が溶接ステーション(6)を離れた後に該ストローの遠位端が前記同軸円板のうちの他方の円板(31)のストロー受け取り保持用エレメント(9)から引き抜かれ、次いで充填及び溶接されたストローが前記受け取り容器(100)内に落ちることを保証する外形を有することを特徴とする請求項13又は14に記載の装置。
- 搬送手段(3)がホッパーの送出口位置に設置された回転バレルであり、該回転バレルが互いに一体化された二つの同軸円板(30、31)で構成され、これら円板相互の間隔が実質的にストローの全長よりも狭く、各同軸円板の周縁部に64本のストロー受け取り保持用ノッチ(9)が設けられ、各ノッチが実質的に半円形の底壁とストロー(p)の中心位置決めのための広がった入口の受け入れ口を備え、これらノッチが32個ずつの互いに異なる直径のストローに適合する二系列のノッチ、即ち、外径が3mmオーダーの大径ストローを受け取るための大ノッチと、外径が2mmオーダーの小径ストローを受け取るための小ノッチとからなり、各系列のノッチがそれぞれ4個ずつの8群に細分され、大ノッチの群と小ノッチの群が互い違いに並び、隣接するノッチ間の間隔ピッチがノッチのカテゴリーとは無関係に前記同軸円板の全周で一定で実質的に10mmのオーダーであることを特徴とする請求項1〜15のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
