Abstract
【解決手段】内視鏡の挿入深さを探知するシステムとして、内視鏡の挿入深さを決定するための一方法は、内視鏡の挿入深さを決定するように構成された、十分に機器装備された内視鏡を用いることである。十分に機器装備された内視鏡は、内視鏡全体の状態をポーリングし、内視鏡の、解剖学的境界、例えば肛門に対する位置を決定することができる。ポーリングによる情報は、内視鏡の長さに沿って配置されたセンサ又はトランスポンダにより得られる。

Claims (10)
- 装置の位置を検知する外部のセンサを用いることなく解剖学的ランドマークを基準として内視鏡装置の挿入深さを決定するシステムであって、
前記内視鏡の少なくとも一部の長さに沿って配置され、前記解剖学的ランドマークを通過するに従い変数を変化させる環境因子を検知し、検知された前記環境因子に基づいて前記変数をそれぞれ出力する1つ以上のセンサと、
前記1つ以上のセンサによって出力された前記変数から、前記解剖学的ランドマークを越えた前記内視鏡装置の挿入深さを決定するように構成されたセンサシステムと、
を備えるシステム。 - 前記1つ以上のセンサは、前記解剖学的ランドマークを基準とする前記内視鏡装置の回転位置をもたらすために配置される請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記環境因子は、前記内視鏡装置を圧迫する組織による圧力を含む請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記環境因子は、前記内視鏡装置が挿入される身体の静電容量を含む請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記環境因子は、前記内視鏡装置が挿入される身体の電気抵抗を含む請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記1つ以上のセンサは、単一の回路で構成される請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記1つ以上のセンサは、フレックス回路内に配置された導電性の層を含み、
前記解剖学的ランドマークでの組織からの前記内視鏡装置に対する圧力が、前記解剖学的ランドマークに隣接した位置で前記導電性の層と前記フレックス回路との間で電気的な接触を引き起こす請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記1つ以上のセンサは、前記内視鏡装置に沿って間隔を空けて配置された多数のセンサを含み、
前記多数のセンサは、圧力スイッチ、感光性装置、湿度検知装置、pH値検知装置、温度検知装置、近接検知装置から成る群から選択される請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記1つ以上のセンサは、前記内視鏡装置に沿って別々な位置で終端となるように配置された多数のワイヤを含み、
前記環境因子は、前記ワイヤと前記内視鏡装置の周囲の組織との間での電気的な連通を含む請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記1つ以上のセンサは、ホール効果を利用したセンサを含み、
前記環境因子は、磁界を含む請求項1に記載のシステム。
