Abstract
【解決手段】ピボットジョイントは、第1構造(30)に対して取り付けられ、所定位置に保持されるボール(32)と、ボール上に取り付けられ、これに対して可動の第2構造(20)とを有する。第2構造は、ボールに対してその位置を定めるベアリング表面(31,36)を有している。ボールは第1構造に対し少なくとも2つの接触位置で所定位置に保持されるものとすることができ、これらの位置を反対側とすることで、第2構造が第1構造とボールとの間に捉えられるようにすることができる。接触位置を調節可能とすることができる。

前記ボールは前記第1構造に対して静止して固定位置に保持され、
前記第2構造は、前記ボールと摺動接触する少なくとも2つのベアリング表面を提供する周面を有する開口を有し、前記少なくとも2つのベアリング表面が前記ボールに対する前記第2構造の位置を定めるものであり、前記少なくとも2つのベアリング表面の間の前記第2構造の領域が前記ボールに接触していないピボットジョイントを提供する。
Claims (10)
- 第1構造に取り付けられたボールと、該ボールに対し可動に取り付けられた第2構造と、を具えたピボットジョイントにおいて、
前記ボールは前記第1構造に対して静止して固定位置に保持され、
前記第2構造は、前記ボールと摺動接触する少なくとも2つのベアリング表面を提供する周面を有する開口を有し、前記少なくとも2つのベアリング表面が前記ボールに対する前記第2構造の位置を定めるものであり、前記少なくとも2つのベアリング表面の間の前記第2構造の領域が前記ボールに接触していないことを特徴とするピボットジョイント。 - 前記ボールは、少なくとも2つの位置で前記第1構造に接触することにより前記固定位置に保持されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のピボットジョイント。
- 前記第2構造の開口は、前記ボールと摺動接触する少なくとも3つのベアリング表面を提供する周面を有することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のピボットジョイント。
- 前記ベアリング表面は、前記ボールと小面積で接触することにより、前記少なくとも2つのベアリング表面間の前記ボールの摺動を最大限にすることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載のピボットジョイント。
- 前記第2構造は前記ボールに接触するよう付勢されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれかに記載のピボットジョイント。
- 前記第2構造を前記ボールに接触するよう付勢するために、ばね、磁石、真空またはゴムバンドが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれかに記載のピボットジョイント。
- 前記第1構造は円錐形の窪みを有し、前記ボールは、前記円錐形の窪みおよび少なくとも1つの接点に接触することより、前記固定位置に位置づけられることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項6のいずれかに記載のピボットジョイント。
- 前記第2構造は前記第1構造および前記ボール間に捕捉されていることを特徴とする請求項2に係るピボットジョイント。
- 前記ボールは、高い球面性をもつボールベアリングであることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項8のいずれかに記載のピボットジョイント。
- 前記ボールは、その球面性および滑らかさに影響を及ぼさない手段によって、前記第1構造に対し位置づけられることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のピボットジョイント。
