Abstract
Description
a)少なくとも1つの酸基を有するエチレン性不飽和モノマー、
b)少なくとも1つの架橋剤、
c)少なくとも1つの開始剤、
d)水
を含有するモノマー溶液の液滴を該液滴を取り囲む気相中で重合させることによって製造する方法において、前記モノマー溶液が多価カチオンを含有し、かつ前記ポリマー粒子が少なくとも150μmの平均直径を有することを特徴とする方法によって解決された。
(A)上部液体透過性カバー
(B)下部液体不透過性層
(C)以下のものを含有する(A)と(B)の間にあるコア
10〜100質量%の本発明による吸水性ポリマー粒子
0〜90質量%の親水性繊維材料
好ましくは
30〜100質量%の本発明による吸水性ポリマー粒子
0〜70質量%の親水性繊維材料
特に好ましくは
50〜100質量%の本発明による吸水性ポリマー粒子
0〜50質量%の親水性繊維材料
特に好ましくは
70〜100質量%の本発明による吸水性ポリマー粒子
0〜30質量%の親水性繊維材料
最も好ましくは
90〜100質量%の本発明による吸水性ポリマー粒子
0〜10質量%の親水性繊維材料
(D)場合により、コア(C)の直上及び直下にある組織層、
(E)場合により、(A)と(C)の間にある吸収層。
測定は、別に記載がない限り、23±2℃の環境温度及び50±10%の相対空気湿度で実施される。吸水性ポリマーは、測定前に良く混和する。
0.3psi(2070Pa)の圧力負荷下での膨潤されたゲル層の液体通過性は、EP−A0640330号中の記載と同様に、高吸収性のポリマーからなる膨潤したゲル層のゲル層透過性として測定され、この場合上記の特許出願明細書第19頁及び図8に記載の装置は、ガラスフリット(40)がもはや使用されず、プランジャー(39)が円筒体(37)と同様のプラスチック材料からなり、今や全載置面にわたって均一に分布するように21個の同じ大きさの孔を含むように十分に変更した。測定の方法及び評価は、EP−A0640330号に対して不変のままである。通過流量は、自動的に捕捉される。
SFC [cm3s/g]=(Fg(t=0)×L0)/(d×A×WP)
上記式中、Fg(t=0)は、g/秒でのNaCl溶液の流量であり、これは、流量測定のデータFg(t)の線形の回帰分析に基づいてt=0に対する外挿法によって得られ、L0は、cmでのゲル層の厚さであり、dは、g/cm3でのNaCl溶液の比重であり、Aは、cm2でのゲル層の面積であり、かつWPは、dyn/cm2でのゲル層上の静水圧力である。
吸水性ポリマー粒子の遠心保持能力は、EDANA(European Disposables and Nonwovens Association)によって推奨された試験方法No.441.2−02"遠心保持能力(Centrifuge retention capacity)"によって測定される。
14.6kgのアクリル酸ナトリウム(水中37.5質量%の溶液)及び1.4kgのアクリル酸を、28.0gの15エトキシル化されたトリメチロールプロパントリアクリレート及び0〜55.9gの硫酸アルミニウムと混合した。該溶液を、加熱され窒素雰囲気で充填された液滴化塔(Vertropfungsturm)(180℃、12mの高さ、2mの幅、並流で0.1m/sのガス速度)中に液滴化した。計量供給速度は、16kg/hであった。液滴化プレートは、170μmの穿孔を37個有していた。液滴化プレートの直径は、65mmであった。開始剤を、液滴化装置の直前で、ベンチュリミキサを介してモノマー溶液へと計量供給した。開始剤としては、2,2′−アゾビス[2−(2−イミダゾリン−2−イル)プロパン]ジヒドロクロリドを水中に溶かした15質量%の溶液を使用した。開始剤溶液の計量供給速度は、0.224kg/hであった。液滴化塔からのガス出口温度は130℃であった。得られたポリマー粒子の平均粒径は、270μmであった。
Claims (21)
- 吸水性ポリマー粒子を、
a)少なくとも1つの酸基を有するエチレン性不飽和モノマー、
b)少なくとも1つの架橋剤、
c)少なくとも1つの開始剤、
d)水
を含有するモノマー溶液の液滴を該液滴を取り囲む気相中で重合させることによって製造する方法において、前記モノマー溶液が多価カチオンを含有し、かつ前記ポリマー粒子が少なくとも150μmの平均直径を有することを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法において、モノマー溶液が、モノマーa)に対して0.001〜0.25質量%の多価カチオンを含有することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の方法において、多価カチオンが少なくとも三価であることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1から3までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、モノマーa)が少なくとも50モル%までアクリル酸であることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、ポリマー粒子が、少なくとも200μmの平均直径を有することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、ポリマー粒子の少なくとも90質量%が、100〜800μmの直径を有することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、キャリヤーガスを反応室中に流すことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項7に記載の方法において、反応室を出て行くキャリヤーガスを、1回の通過後に、少なくとも部分的に返送することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1から8までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、キャリヤーガスの酸素含有率が0.001〜0.15容量%であることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、得られるポリマー粒子を、少なくとも1つの更なる方法工程において乾燥及び/又は後架橋させることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1から10までのいずれか1項に記載の方法により製造できる吸水性ポリマー粒子。
- 少なくとも0.84の平均球形度を有し、0.005質量%未満の疎水性溶剤の含有率を有し、かつ少なくとも5×10-7cm3s/gの透過性を有する吸水性ポリマー粒子。
- 請求項12に記載のポリマー粒子であって、該ポリマー粒子が少なくとも10g/gの遠心保持能力を有することを特徴とするポリマー粒子。
- 請求項12又は13に記載のポリマー粒子であって、該ポリマー粒子が少なくとも200μmの平均直径を有することを特徴とするポリマー粒子。
- 請求項12から14までのいずれか1項に記載のポリマー粒子であって、該ポリマー粒子の少なくとも90質量%が、100〜800μmの直径を有することを特徴とするポリマー粒子。
- 請求項12から15までのいずれか1項に記載のポリマー粒子であって、該ポリマー粒子が少なくとも部分的に、重合された酸基を有するモノマーa)からなることを特徴とするポリマー粒子。
- 請求項16に記載のポリマー粒子であって、重合されたモノマーa)の酸基が、少なくとも部分的に中和されていることを特徴とするポリマー粒子。
- 請求項16又は17に記載のポリマー粒子であって、モノマーa)が少なくとも50モル%までアクリル酸であることを特徴とするポリマー粒子。
- 請求項11から18までのいずれか1項に記載のポリマー粒子であって、該ポリマー粒子が多価カチオンを含有することを特徴とするポリマー粒子。
- 請求項11から19までのいずれか1項に記載のポリマー粒子を衛生製品の製造のために用いる使用。
- 請求項11から19までのいずれか1項に記載のポリマー粒子を含有する衛生製品。
