Abstract
Description
・タンクが配置されるスペースは、容易に上向きに換気され得る
・船級協会のガス・タンク位置に関する規則に合致する
・船体中央部近くに配置されるので、船舶のトリムにほとんど影響を生じない
・高さが高いことによりタンクの直径を小さくでき、その結果、甲板の保留領域が小さくなる、また、製作材料として標準配管を使用できる
・タンクはケーシングに合わせて整列されるので、車両甲板上の自由レーン数は変わらない
・タンク内の自由表面積が小さいことによって、ボイルオフ・ガスの生成を最小化する
・交換のためにタンクを船の上方に吊り上げることが可能である
燃料タンク配列4はお互いに相互連結された複数の管状タンク4.1を有することが好ましい。これによって、大きな単一のタンクの代わりに小さい個別のタンクに交換することが可能となる。船舶は、その最上甲板で燃料タンクを船舶外に運搬する操作が可能な構造を備えることが好ましい(図示せず)。
Claims (8)
- 少なくとも1つのガス駆動エンジン(2)を有するガス燃料で運転される船舶(1)であって、
前記燃料を液相で貯蔵する燃料タンク配列(4)を備え、
エンジン・ルームから前記船舶の外側まで延在するエンジン・ルーム・ケーシング(6)を備えた前記エンジン・ルームに前記エンジンが配置されている船舶において、
前記燃料タンク配列(4)が前記エンジン・ルーム・ケーシングの近傍に配置されることを特徴とする船舶。 - 前記燃料タンク配列(4)が、前記船舶の縦軸から実質的にずれた方向に細長い形状であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の船舶。
- 前記燃料タンク配列(4)が、鉛直方向寸法と水平方向寸法とを有し、前記鉛直方向寸法が前記水平方向寸法より大きいことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の船舶。
- 前記燃料タンク配列(4)が、複数の相互連結された別々のタンク(4.1)を備えることを特徴とする、請求項1から3までのいずれか一項に記載の船舶。
- 前記燃料タンクが円形断面を有することを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の船舶。
- 前記別々のタンク(4.1)が、鉛直方向に延在する管状タンクとして形成されることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の船舶。
- 前記燃料タンク配列が、前記船舶の外部に通じる排気口(10)を有するスペース(9)に配置されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の船舶。
- 前記タンク配列(4)が、前記船舶の縦軸に関して前記エンジン・ルーム・ケーシングの前部又は後部に配置されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の船舶。
