Description
第一ポリマーステントを組織内工程でクリンプした。第二ポリマーステントを、バルーンの上に配置して、クリンパ中に挿入した。このクリンパのヘッドを、ステントの外直径まで収縮させた。次いで、上記バルーンを、30psiの圧力で、ステントの外直径まで、すなわちクリンパの内径まで膨張させた。このステントを、さらに、加圧下または圧力を解除して低速度でクリンプダウンし、次いで、若干の時間、バルーン圧なしで、目標のクリンピング直径に保持した。
ステントをバルーンに装着し、次いでそのバルーンを、そのステントの内径まで膨張させる。そのステントの元の直径と所望の最終の直径との間の中間の直径までクリンプする。次に、そのバルーンを、例えば真空をかけることによって収縮させる。次いで、そのバルーンを中間の直径まで膨張させる(直径はクリンピングヘッドの位置によって制御される)。最終の所望の直径までクリンプする。この方法は、初期のクリンピング工程中、ステントを保持し、およびその製造工程中にクリンピングによって生じる欠陥を少なくすることができる。
Claims (23)
- ポリマー製ステントを、膨張した形態にあるバルーンの上に配置して提供するステップと、
前記ステントを、膨張させたバルーン上でクリンプし、収縮クリンプ形態にして、バルーン上に固定するステップと、を含む
ステントをカテーテルアセンブリのバルーン上でクリンプする方法。 - 前記提供するステップが、
しぼんだ形態のバルーンを前記ステントの中に挿入する工程と、
前記バルーンを膨張させて膨張形態にする工程とを含み、
前記膨張形態が、前記バルーンの目的とする膨張形態以下の大きさである請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記膨張した形態が、前記バルーンの膜または壁が、前記ステントの構造要素の間の間隙中に突出する形態である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ステントを前記バルーンの上でクリンプした後、前記バルーンの膜または壁を、前記ステントの構造要素の間の間隙中に挟みこむかまたは詰め込むステップを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- クリンピング工程中に、前記バルーン内の圧力が、弁によって解除して制御できる請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記提供するステップが、
しぼんだ形態のバルーンを前記ステントの中に挿入する工程と、
前記バルーンを膨張させる工程とを含み、
前記収縮クリンプ形態が、前記しぼんだ形態より大きい直径または大きさを有している請求項1に記載の方法。 - 請求項1の方法に従って製造したステント−バルーンカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記ステントが金属製ステントではない請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ステントが生分解性ポリマー製ステントである請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ステントが、生分解性金属成分を含有または含有しない生分解性ポリマー製ステントである請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ステントを前記バルーンの上に配置する前に、溶媒を前記バルーンに塗布するステップをさらに含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記溶媒がアセトンである請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマー製ステントが薬物コーティングを備える請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ステントを前記バルーンの上に配置する前に、バルーン軟化剤を前記バルーンに塗布するステップをさらに含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バルーンを加熱した液体または気体で膨張させる請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バルーンを、200℃を超えない温度に加熱した液体または気体で膨張させる請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バルーンを、150℃を超えない温度に加熱した液体または気体で膨張させる請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バルーンを、100℃を超えない温度に加熱した液体または気体で膨張させる請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バルーンを、75℃を超えない温度に加熱した液体または気体で膨張させる請求項1に記載の方法。
- 下記順序で続くステップ、すなわち
(a)ステントを膨張した形態にあるバルーンの上に配置するステップと、
(b)前記ステントを第一縮小直径までクリンプするステップと、
(c)前記バルーンを少なくとも部分的に収縮させるステップと、
(d)前記バルーンを少なくとも前記ステントの内径まで膨張させるステップと、
(e)前記ステントを第二縮小直径までクリンプするステップと、
を含む、ステントをバルーンの上でクリンプする方法。 - 前記第二縮小直径が最終のクリンプされた直径である請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記ステップ(e)につづいて、さらに、
(f)前記バルーンを少なくとも部分的に収縮させるステップ、
(g)前記バルーンを少なくとも前記ステントの内径まで膨張させるステップ、
(h)前記ステントを第三縮小直径までクリンプするステップ、
を含む請求項20に記載の方法。 - 前記第三縮小直径が、最終のクリンプされた直径である請求項22に記載の方法。
