Abstract
【解決手段】導電性組成物は下記を含む(合計で100重量部):30〜60部の液体PVDF、25〜62部の粘性PVDF、8〜13部の導電性充填剤、0〜2部の難燃剤、0〜0.05部の核剤。好ましい組成は35〜50部の液体PVDF、45〜55部の粘性PVDF、8〜13部の導電性充填剤、0〜2部の難燃剤、0〜0.05部の核剤。本発明導電性組成物の230℃での溶融粘度が106Pa.s以下、好ましくは102〜106Pa.sであるのが好ましい。
Description
本発明の組成物はチューブまたはパイプのような多層構造物の製造に用いることができる。
(1)30〜60部の液体のPVDF、
(2)25〜62部の粘性のあるPVDF、
(3)8〜13部の導電性充填剤、
(4)0〜2部の難燃剤、
(5)0〜0.05部の核剤。
(1)35〜50部の液体のPVDF、
(2)45〜55部の粘性のあるPVDF、
(3)8〜13部の導電性充填剤、
(4)0〜2部の難燃剤、
(5)0〜0.05部の核剤。
本発明はさらに、上記導電性組成物と、熱可塑性ポリマーまたは金属とを組み合わせた多層構造物に関するものである。
「粘性のあるPVDF」とは、溶融粘度(230℃および100s-1で測定)が15〜40kP、好ましくは15〜30kPである熱可塑性PVDFを意味する。粘性のあるPVDFはコポリマー、特にVDF/HFPコポリマーであるのが好ましい。
Van Nostrand Reinhold 社発行の" Handbook of Fillers and Reinforcemtns for Plastics"、ISBN 0-442-25372-9、特に第II章、第2節および第VI章、第16節。
こうした低構造化カーボンブラックを使用する場合に抵抗率を106Ω.cm以下(未満)にするためにはその含有率を高くする必要がある。すなわち、上記のパーコレーション閾値を得るにはより高い含有率(約10重量%)にする必要があることを意味する。このことは、パーコレーション閾値が約3重量%である超導電性カーボンブラックに対して、カーボンブラックは計量がより正確にできるという利点になる。
エンサコ250 (登録商標)の特徴
BET表面積(ASTM D 3037):65m2/g、
DBP吸収量(ASTM D 2414):190ml/100g、
密度(ASTM D 1513):170kg/m3、
pH(ASTM D 1512):8〜11、
体積抵抗率(FINATHENE47100中に25%):<10Ω.cm。
エンサコ260 (登録商標)の特徴
BET表面積(ASTM D 3037):70m2/g、
DBP吸収量(ASTM D 2414):190ml/100g、
密度(ASTM D 1513):170kg/m3、
pH(ASTM D 1512):8〜11、
体積抵抗率(FINATHENE47100中に25%):<5Ω.cm。
核剤は組成物を迅速に結晶化するのを促進させて、機械特性の点で安定な(従って「低温」結晶化を防ぐ)組成物を得ることができるようにする。核剤は例えばPTFE粒子にすることができる。
(1)30〜60部の液体のPVDF、
(2)25〜62部の粘性のあるPVDF、
(3)8〜13部の導電性充填剤、
(4)0〜2部の難燃剤、
(5)0〜0.05部の核剤。
(1)35〜50部の液体のPVDF、
(2)45〜55部の粘性のあるPVDF、
(3)8〜13部の導電性充填剤、
(4)0〜2部の難燃剤、
(5)0〜0.05部の核剤。
さらに、上記組成物が液体のPVDFと粘性のあるPVDF以外のポリマーを含まないときにより良い耐薬品性が得られるので好ましい。
上記組成物は各成分を溶融混合または溶剤混合することによって調製される。溶融混合の場合は、熱可塑性樹脂に適した混合用具、有利には押出機を用いる。溶剤混合の場合には、各成分を適切な溶剤中で混合し、次いで溶剤を蒸発する。
組成物が粉末状の場合には組成物の顆粒を粉砕するために低温粉砕技術を使用することができる。
本発明組成物はパイプ、プレート、ロッド、フィルムまたはシートの形に押し出すことができる。ロッドは続いて種々の部品、例えばギヤ、コンテナ、バルブ、ポンプ本体の部品などに加工されるのに用いられる。
本発明組成物は射出成形することもできる。射出成形技術によって例えば電極、シールなどを得ることができる。
本発明組成物はPVDF、例えばN−メチルピロリドン、ジメチルホルムアミド(DMF)またはジメチルスルホキシド(DMSO)用の溶剤中に溶解することもでき、塗料として用いることができる。さらに、アセトンを用いることもできる。
本発明組成物は静電粉体塗装によって塗布することもできる。顆粒状の組成物は初めに粉砕し、次いで粒子状にする。本発明組成物は熱間圧縮成形によって加工することもできる。
共押出し法によってパイプ、プレート、フィルム、シート、中空体などの形をした種々のタイプの多層構造物を得ることができる。
本発明の一つの実施例の多層構造物は下記の層を下記の順番で有する:
(1)少なくとも一種の熱可塑性ポリマーの層、
(2)導電性組成物の層。
本発明の別の実施例の多層構造物は下記から成る:
(1)導電性組成物の層、
(2)少なくとも一種の熱可塑性ポリマーの層、
(3)導電性組成物の層。
(1)少なくとも一種の熱可塑性ポリマーの内層、
(2)導電性組成物の外層、
または、
(1)導電性組成物の内層、
(2)少なくとも一種の熱可塑性ポリマーの外層、
または
(1)導電性組成物の内層、
(2)少なくとも一種の熱可塑性ポリマーの中間層、
(3)導電性組成物の外層。
(1)ポリアミド(例えば、ナイロン−6、ナイロン−11、ナイロン−12、ナイロン−6,6など)、
(2)ポリオレフィン(PE、PP、EPDM)、
(3)ポリ塩化ビニル(PVC)
(4)塩素化PVC(C−PVC)
(5)ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)
(6)EVOH(エチレン/ビニルアルコールコポリマー)
(7)ポリエーテルエーテルケトン(PEEK)
(8)ポリオキシメチレン(アセタール)
(9)ポリエーテルスルホン
(10)ポリウレタン
(11)フルオロポリマー、例えばPVDF、ポリフッ化ビニル、エチレン/THFコポリマー(ETFE)、TFE/HFPコポリマー(FEP)、エチレン/TFE/HFPコポリマー(EFEP)、TFE/HFP/VDFコポリマー(THV)またはPTFE。
上記の全ての構造物において、各層は互いに接しているのが好ましい。
多層構造物は導電性組成物の層と金属の層とにすることもできる。金属層は必要に応じて接着プライマーで被覆することもできる。金属層と導電性組成物の層との間、または、接着プライマー層と導電性組成物の層との間に結合層を配置されるのが好ましい。従って、この構造物は下記の層を下記の順番で有する:
(1)金属の層
(2)任意の層としての接着プライマー層
(3)任意の層としての結合層、
(4)導電性組成物の層。
実施例で使用した化合物:
カイナー(Kynar)720 (K720):アルケマ社から市販のPVDFのホモポリマー、溶融粘度は6〜12kP。
カイナーフレックス(Kynarflex)2850(KF2850):VDF/HFPコポリマー(6重量%のHFP)、粘度は23〜27kP。
カイナーフレックス(Kynarflex)2950−05(KF2950):VDF/HFPコポリマー(17重量%のHFP)、粘度は6〜12kP。
カイナーフレックス(Kynarflex)2750−01(KF2750):VDF/HFPコポリマー(17重量%のHFP)、粘度は20〜25kP。
エンサコ260:上記特徴参照。
Ketjenblack 300 EC:アクゾ(Akzo Chimi)社のカーボンブラック、DBP吸収量が350〜385ml/100gで、BET表面積は800m2/g。
σ1(Ωcm):押出機で混合後に測定した体積抵抗率、
σ2(Ωcm):第2押出し後に測定した体積抵抗率、
C23(kJ/m2):23℃で測定したシャルピー衝撃強度、
C-30(kJ/m2):−30℃で測定したシャルピー衝撃強度、
εr23(%):23℃で測定した破断変形量、
σT(Ωcm):外径32mm、厚さ3mmのパイプの体積抵抗率、
εr23(%):外径32mm、厚さ3mmのパイプの23℃で測定した破断変形量。
(1)優れた剪断安定性(σ1およびσ2値を参照)、
(2)体積抵抗率<106Ωcm、
(3)優れた衝撃強度。
Claims (15)
- 下記(1)〜(5)を含む(合計で100重量部)導電性組成物:
(1)30〜60部の溶融粘度(230℃および100s-1で測定)が4〜15kP、好ましくは4〜10kPである液体の熱可塑性PVDF、
(2)25〜62部の溶融粘度(230℃および100s-1で測定)が15〜40kP、好ましくは15〜30kPである粘性熱可塑性PVDF、
(3)8〜13部の導電性充填剤、
(4)0〜2部の難燃剤、
(5)0〜0.05部の核剤。 - 下記(1)〜(5)を含む(合計で100重量部)請求項1に記載の組成物:
(1)35〜50部の液体PVDF、
(2)45〜55部の粘性PVDF、
(3)8〜13部の導電性充填剤、
(4)0〜2部の難燃剤、
(5)0〜0.05部の核剤。 - 液体PVDFがホモポリマーである請求項1または2に記載の組成物。
- 粘性PVDFがコポリマーである請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- PVDFが10重量%以下のHFPを含むVDF/HFPコポリマーである請求項4に記載の組成物。
- 導電性充填剤が、BET表面積が50〜200m2/g、好ましくは50〜100m2/g(ASTM D 3037−89)で、DBP(フタル酸ジブチル)吸収量が150〜300ml/100g、好ましくは150〜250ml/100g(ASTM D 2414−90)であるカーボンブラックである請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 導電性充填剤の体積抵抗率(25重量%のカーボンブラックを含むFINATHENE47100HDPE化合物で測定)が20Ω.cm以下、有利には15Ω.cm以下、好ましくは10Ω.cm以下である請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 導電性組成物の230℃での溶融粘度が106Pa.s以下、好ましくは102〜106Pa.sである請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 少なくとも一種の熱可塑性ポリマーの層と、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の導電性組成物の層とを含む多層構造物。
- 下記の層をこの順番で含む多層構造物:
(1)請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の導電性組成物の層、
(2)少なくとも一種の熱可塑性ポリマーの層、
(3)請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の導電性組成物の層。 - 導電性組成物が請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のものである、下記の層を下記の順番で有するパイプまたは中空体の形をした多層構造物:
(1)少なくとも一種の熱可塑性ポリマーの内層、
(2)導電性組成物の外層、
または、
(1)導電性組成物の内層、
(2)少なくとも一種の熱可塑性ポリマーの外層、
または
(1)導電性組成物の内層、
(2)少なくとも一種の熱可塑性ポリマーの中間層、
(3)導電性組成物の外層。 - 上記熱可塑性ポリマーが下記(1)〜(11)の中から選択される請求項9〜11のいずれか一項に記載の多層構造物:
(1)ポリアミド、
(2)ポリオレフィン、
(3)ポリ塩化ビニル(PVC)
(4)塩素化PVC(C−PVC)
(5)ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)
(6)EVOH(エチレン/ビニルアルコールコポリマー)
(7)ポリエーテルエーテルケトン(PEEK)
(8)ポリオキシメチレン(アセタール)
(9)ポリエーテルスルホン
(10)ポリウレタン
(11)フルオロポリマー、例えばPVDF、ポリフッ化ビニル、エチレン/THFコポリマー(ETFE)、TFE/HFPコポリマー(FEP)、エチレン/TFE/HFPコポリマー(EFEP)、TFE/HFP/VDFコポリマー(THV)またはPTFE。 - 少なくとも一つの導電性組成物層と少なくとも一つの熱可塑性ポリマー層との間に少なくとも一つの結合層が配置される請求項9〜12のいずれか一項に記載の多層構造物。
- 下記の層をこの順番で有する多層構造物:
(1)金属の層
(2)任意の層としての接着プライマー層
(3)任意の層としての結合層、
(4)請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の導電性組成物の層。 - パイプまたは中空体の形をした請求項14に記載の多層構造物。
