Description
9,9−ジアルキルフルオレン−2,7−ジイルのホモポリマーのような第1の繰返し単位のホモポリマーが電子輸送を提供するために利用される。

上記式において、Mは金属であり、L1、L2およびL3は配位基であり、qは整数であり、rおよびsはそれぞれ独立して0または整数である。(a.q)+(b.r)+(c.s)はM上で有効な配位位置の数であり、aは、L1上の配位位置の数、bはL2上の配位位置の数、およびcはL3上の配位位置の数である。

置換酸素原子を有する環状窒素原子、または置換酸素原子を有する置換窒素または酸素原子がある。選択的な置換基としては、発光色を調整することができる(ヘテロ)芳香環上の、アルキル、アルコキシ、ハロアルキル、シアノ、アミド、スルホニル、カルボニル、アリールまたはヘテロアリールがある。
一般的な手続きは下記の工程に従う。
1)Baytron p(商標登録)としてBayer(商標)から市販されているPEDT/PSSをガラス基板上に支持されたインジウム錫酸化物上にスピンコートにより積層する。
2)濃度2%w/vを有するキシレン溶液からスピンコートによって、正孔輸送ポリマーを蒸着する。
3)不活性(窒素)雰囲気中で正孔輸送材料層を加熱する。
4)残留する可溶性正孔輸送材料を除去するためにキシレン中で基板を選択的にスピン洗浄する。
5)ホスト材料および有機燐光材料から構成される有機発光材料をキシレン溶液からスピンコートによって積層する。
6)有機発光材料上にBaO/Alカソードを積層し、Saes Getters SpAから市販されている気密性包装材を使用してこの装置をカプセル化する。
標準のリソグラフィー技術、すなわち、各サブ画素ウェル中にPEDT/PSSをインクジェット印刷する、正孔輸送材料をインクジェット印刷する、および赤、緑および青色サブ画素のウェルにそれぞれ赤、緑および青色電子発光材料をインクジェット印刷する工程を使用して、赤、緑および青色サブ画素を形成することによって、EP0880303に記載されるプロセスに従ってフルカラーディスプレイが形成される。

Claims (49)
- アノード、カソードおよび前記アノードとカソードの間の有機発光層を含む有機発光装置であって、前記カソードはアルカリ土類金属の酸化物から構成される電子注入層を含み、前記有機発光層は有機燐光材料を含む有機発光装置。
- 前記アルカリ土類金属はバリウムである請求項1に記載の有機発光装置。
- 前記電子注入層は3nm〜20nmの厚さを有する請求項1または2に記載の有機発光装置。
- 前記電子注入層は少なくとも95%の装置における透明性を有する請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の有機発光装置。
- 前記カソードは前記有機発光層の反対側上の電子注入層上に積層される導電性構造を含む請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の有機発光装置。
- 前記導電性構造は1または2以上の導電性材料層から構成される請求項5に記載の有機発光装置。
- 前記導電性構造は反射性である請求項5または6に記載の有機発光装置。
- 前記導電性構造は少なくとも70%の反射性を有する請求項7に記載の有機発光装置。
- 前記導電性構造は金属層から構成される請求項7または8に記載の有機発光装置。
- 前記金属層は少なくとも50nmの厚さを有する請求項9に記載の有機発光装置。
- 前記金属層はAlおよびAgの少なくとも1つから構成される請求項9または10に記載の有機発光装置。
- 前記金属層はAlから構成される請求項11に記載の有機発光装置。
- 前記導電性構造は透明である請求項5または6に記載の有機発光装置。
- 前記導電性構造は少なくとも95%の透明性を有する請求項13に記載の有機発光装置。
- 前記導電性構造は薄い透明性金属層または透明導電性酸化物層から構成される請求項13または14に記載の有機発光装置。
- 前記導電性構造は、前記電子注入層上に積層され、3.5eV以下の仕事関数を有する第1の導電層と、前記第1の導電層上に積層され、3.5eV以上の仕事関数を有する第2の導電層から構成される請求項6に記載の有機発光装置。
- 前記第1の導電層はBaまたはCaの層である請求項16に記載の有機発光装置。
- 前記第2の導電層はAlの層である請求項16または17に記載の有機発光装置。
- 前記有機発光層は前記電子注入層に直接接触している請求項1ないし18のいずれかに記載の有機発光装置。
- 前記有機発光層は前記有機発光材料が積層される有機半導体ホスト材料を含む請求項1ないし19のいずれかに記載の有機発光装置。
- 前記有機半導体ホスト材料は青色発光することができる請求項20に記載の有機発光装置。
- 前記有機半導体ホスト材料は0と−2.1eVの間のLUMOを有する請求項20または21に記載の有機発光装置。
- 前記有機半導体ホスト材料は共役ポリマーから構成される請求項20ないし22のいずれかに記載の有機発光装置。
- 前記ポリマーは最大50%までにアミン繰返し単位から構成されるコポリマーである請求項23に記載の有機発光装置。
- 前記コポリマーは1〜15%のアミン繰返し単位から構成される請求項24に記載の有機発光装置。
- 前記コポリマーは1〜10%のアミン繰返し単位から構成される請求項25に記載の有機発光装置。
