Claims (27)
- セラミックアーク外管と、前記セラミックアーク外管に連結され、前記セラミックアーク外管の開口部を横切って延び、前記セラミックアーク外管の内室と連通した通路を含む末端構造体と、前記通路内を延び、前記通路で封止され、モリブデンレニウム合金からなるモリブデンレニウム電極リードと、前記内室内の前記電極リードに連結されたアーク電極チップとを含む電球。
- 前記モリブデンレニウム合金が約35重量パーセント〜約55重量パーセントのレニウムを含む、請求項1記載の電球。
- 前記モリブデンレニウム合金の熱膨張率が約5.5×10−6/K〜約7×10−6/Kの範囲内である、請求項1記載の電球。
- 前記電極リードの延性が約0.1パーセント〜約3.0パーセントの範囲内である、請求項1記載の電球。
- 前記電極リードが、第1モリブデンレニウム合金からなるマンドレルと、前記マンドレルの周面の周りに巻き付けられて全長にわたって延びたコイルとを含み、前記コイルがモリブデンまたはモリブデン合金または第2モリブデンレニウム合金またはタングステンまたはそれらの組合せからなる、請求項1記載の電球。
- 前記第1、第2モリブデンレニウム合金がそれぞれ約35重量パーセント〜約55重量パーセントのレニウムを含む、請求項5記載の電球。
- 前記第1、第2モリブデンレニウム合金の熱膨張率がそれぞれ約5.5×10−6/K〜約7×10−6/Kの範囲内である、請求項5記載の電球。
- 前記モリブデンレニウム電極リードが、第3モリブデンレニウム合金からなるシャンクと、前記シャンクに連結され、第4モリブデンレニウム合金からなるマンドレルを含むコイル組立体と、前記マンドレルの周面の周りに全長にわたって巻き付けられた第5モリブデンレニウム合金からなるコイルとを含む、請求項1記載の電球。
- 前記第3、第4、第5モリブデンレニウム合金がそれぞれ約35重量パーセント〜約55重量パーセントのレニウムを含む、請求項8記載の電球。
- さらに、前記アーク電極チップ上に配置されるオーバラップを含み、前記オーバラップがタングステンまたはタングステン合金またはレニウムまたはレニウム合金またはタンタルまたはタンタル合金またはそれらの組合せからなる、請求項1記載の電球。
- 前記内室内に配置される調量材を含み、前記調量材がハロゲン化物またはハロゲン化金属または両方からなる、請求項1記載の電球。
- 前記調量材が水銀を含まない、請求項11記載の電球。
- 前記内室内に配置された腐食性調量材を含み、前記モリブデンレニウム合金が前記腐食性調量材に対して耐性である、請求項1記載の電球。
- 前記末端構造体から外方に延びかつ前記通路と連通した中空部材を含み、前記電極リードが少なくとも部分的に前記中空部材内を延びている、請求項1記載の電球。
- 前記中空部材と前記電極リードが互いに気密封止されている、請求項14記載の電球。
- 前記中空部材と前記末端構造体がセラミック材料からなる、請求項14記載の電球。
- 前記末端構造体がセラミック材料からなり、前記中空部材が第6モリブデンレニウム合金からなる、請求項14記載の電球。
- 照明装置を含むシステムであって、前記照明装置が、内部を有するセラミックアーク外管と、前記セラミックアーク外管内に配置された腐食性材料からなる調量材と、前記セラミックアーク外管に連結され、前記セラミックアーク外管の開放末端を横切って延び、前記内部と連通した中空脚部を含む末端構造体と、少なくとも部分的に前記中空脚部内を延びるモリブデンレニウム合金からなる電極リードと、前記電極リードに連結されたアーク電極チップと、前記セラミックアーク外管を少なくとも部分的に取り囲む反射外シュラウドを含むハウジングと、前記電極リードに電気的に連結された安定器とを含むシステム。
- 前記電極リードが、第1モリブデンレニウム合金からなるマンドレルと、前記マンドレルの周面の周りに全長にわたって巻き付けられるコイルとを含み、前記コイルがモリブデンまたはモリブデン合金または第2モリブデンレニウム合金またはタングステンまたはそれらの組合せからなる、請求項18記載のシステム。
- 前記照明装置を有する車両を含む、請求項17記載のシステム。
- 前記照明装置を有するビデオ映写機を含む、請求項17記載のシステム。
- 電球製造方法であって、セラミックアーク外管の開放末端に末端構造体を連結し、かつそれを横切って延ばすステップ、前記末端構造体内を延びる通路内に、モリブデンレニウム合金からなるモリブデンレニウム電極リードを配置するステップ、前記モリブデンレニウム電極リードを前記通路に対して封止するステップを含む方法。
- 連結するステップが、前記末端構造体のセラミック材料を前記セラミックアーク外管に対して封止するステップを含む、請求項22記載の方法。
- 電極チップを前記コイル組立体に連結するステップを含む、請求項22記載の方法。
- 封止ステップが、前記末端構造体から突出する中空部材に対して前記モリブデンレニウム電極リードを気密封止するステップを含む、請求項22記載の方法。
- 封止ステップが局所加熱または常温圧接またはそれらを組合せたステップを含む、請求項22記載の方法。
- セラミックアーク外管内の電極チップに連結されたモリブデンレニウム電極リードを介してハロゲン化物の作用および熱機械的応力を減少させるステップを含み、前記モリブデンレニウム電極リードがモリブデンレニウム合金からなる電球作動方法。
