Abstract
【解決手段】少なくとも(I)ジアミン構成単位の70モル%以上がメタキシリレンジアミンに由来し、ジカルボン酸構成単位の70モル%以上が炭素数4〜20のα,ω−直鎖脂肪族ジカルボン酸に由来するポリアミド樹脂(a-1)と、ナイロン11及び/又はナイロン12(a-2)からなり、(a-1)成分と(a-2)成分の合計量に対して(a-1)成分が5〜95重量%、(a-2)成分が95〜5重量%であるポリアミド樹脂組成物(A)100重量部に対して、分子中に2個以上のカルボジイミド基を有するカルボジイミド化合物(B)0.1〜10重量部を含有する熱可塑性樹脂組成物層と、(II)ナイロン11及び/又はナイロン12からなるポリアミド樹脂層を有することを特徴とする積層体。

Description
しかし、近年、ガソリン資源の枯渇や環境保全の面から、ガソリンにエタノール等のアルコール類を添加した混合燃料を利用する検討が進められているが、ポリアミドはアルコール類に対するバリア性が著しく低いため、混合ガソリンの透過量は、通常のガソリンの透過量に比較して、50〜60倍に達する。そのため、今後ますます強化される規制に十分に応えてくことが困難であり、よりバリア性能を高めた材料が望まれている。
一方、熱可塑性樹脂にポリカルボジイミドを添加することで、耐熱性が向上することが知られている(特許文献1参照)。また、ポリアミドに脂肪族カルボジイミド化合物を配合することで、耐加水分解性、耐油性及び耐ハロゲン化金属塩性を改良されることが知られている(特許文献2参照)。しかしながら、これらの文献には、燃料バリア性、耐剥離性や、強度、耐衝撃性、伸び等の機械的特性の改良については記述されていない。
(II)ナイロン11及び/又はナイロン12からなるポリアミド樹脂層を有することを特徴とする積層体、並びに該積層体を使用した燃料チューブに関する。
従って、本発明の積層体は、バリア性、耐剥離性、および、強度、耐衝撃性、伸びなどの機械特性、特にアルコール含有燃料のバリア性に優れており、燃料用容器、チューブ、部品等、種々の成形体に好適に使用される。
ポリアミド樹脂(a−1)は、メタキシリレンジアミンを70モル%以上、好ましくは80モル%以上含むジアミン成分と、炭素数4〜20のα,ω−直鎖脂肪族ジカルボン酸を70モル%以上、好ましくは80モル%以上含むジカルボン酸成分を重縮合させることにより得られる。
イソフタル酸を含むと、炭素数4〜20のα,ω−直鎖脂肪族ジカルボン酸のみの場合に比べ、得られるポリアミド樹脂の融点が低下し、より低温で成形でき、製造エネルギーの低減や成形サイクルの短縮化が図られるばかりでなく、溶融粘度が高くなり、該樹脂のドローダウン等に対する成形加工性が向上するが、熱可塑性樹脂組成物のバリア性が低下する。
なお、ポリアミド樹脂(a−1)には、上記のリン化合物の他に、本発明の効果を損なわない範囲で、滑剤、艶消剤、耐熱安定剤、耐候安定剤、紫外線吸収剤、核剤、可塑剤、難燃剤、帯電防止剤、着色防止剤、ゲル化防止剤等の添加剤等を加えることもできるが、以上に示したものに限定されることなく、種々の材料を混合しても良い。
さらに、本発明において使用されるナイロン11及び/又はナイロン12には、必要に応じて、酸化防止剤、熱安定剤、紫外線吸収剤、光安定剤、滑剤、無機充填剤、帯電防止剤、難燃剤、結晶化促進剤等を添加することができる。
これらのカルボジイミド化合物(B)は、有機ポリイソシアネートを脱炭酸縮合反応することで製造することができる。例えば、カルボジイミド化触媒の存在下、各種有機ポリイソシアネートを約70℃以上の温度で不活性溶媒中、もしくは溶媒を使用することなく、脱炭酸縮合反応させることによって合成する方法等を挙げることができる。
溶融混練温度が上記範囲とすることにより、押出混練性の不良や分解が生じることがない。
積層体の厚みは特に限定されるものではないが、好ましくは熱可塑性樹脂組成物層((I)層)としては0.005〜30mm、ナイロン11及び/又はナイロン12層((II)層)としては0.02〜40mmである。
該補強層に使用するポリオレフィンとしては、直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン、低密度ポリエチレン、中密度ポリエチレン、高密度ポリエチレン、超高分子量高密度ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、あるいはエチレン、プロピレン、ブテン等から選ばれる2種類以上のオレフィンの共重合体、およびそれらの混合体、変性フッ素系樹脂、(I)及び(II)以外のポリアミドが例示できる。また、上記補強層において例示したポリオレフィン、ポリエステル、ポリカーボネート、ポリアミド及びフッ素系樹脂は、互いに混合したり、エラストマー等の他の樹脂との混合や、例えばカーボンブラックや難燃剤等の他の添加剤と混合して使用することも可能である。
(1)接着性
・多層フィルムを引き剥がし、接着性を評価した。
A;引き剥がせない C;簡単に引き剥がせる
(2)全光線透過率、曇価
得られたフィルムについて日本電色工業(株)製、色差・濁度測定器COH−300Aを使用し、ASTM D1003に準じてフィルムの全光線透過率(%)、曇価(%)を測定した。
23℃、50%RHの環境下において、フィルムから幅10mm、長さ120mmの短冊状の試験片を作製し、ストログラフV1−C〔(株)東洋精機製作所製〕を用いて、チャック間距離50mm、引張速度50mm/minの条件にて、ASTM−D882に準拠して破壊強度(kgf/mm2)、破壊伸び(%)および弾性率(kgf/mm2)の測定を行った。
(4)衝撃穴あけ強度
23℃、50%RHの環境下において、フィルムインパクト試験機〔東測精密工業(株)製、ITF−60〕を用いて、先端1/2インチ(1.25mm)球形の条件にて衝撃穴あけ強度(kgf・cm)を測定した。
23℃、フィルム内部の相対湿度60%、外部の相対湿度50%の雰囲気下にてASTM D3985に準じてフィルムの酸素透過率(cc/(m2・day・atm))を測定した。測定は、モダンコントロールズ社製、OX-TRAN 10/50Aを使用した。
(6)燃料バリア性(燃料透過量)
得られたフィルムを12×15cm角に2枚切り出し、それぞれを合わせて、3片がシール幅10mmになるようヒートシールし、袋を作製した。得られた袋に、燃料(イソオクタン/トルエン/エタノール=45/45/10容量%)を60g充填し、口部をシール幅10mmになるようヒートシールした。該燃料充填袋を、28℃/60%RHに調整した防爆型恒温恒湿槽に10日間放置し、放置後、初期値と10日間放置後の袋の重量を測定し、その重量減少量から燃料透過量(g/day)を求めた。
(7)相対粘度
試料1gを精秤し、96%硫酸100ccに20〜30℃で撹拌溶解した。完全に溶解した後、速やかにキャノンフェンスケ型粘度計に溶液5ccを取り、25℃±0.03℃の恒温槽中で10分間放置後、落下時間(t)を測定した。また、96%硫酸そのものの落下時間(t0)も同様に測定した。t及びt0から次式により相対粘度を算出した。
相対粘度=(t)/(t0)
ポリメタキシリレンアジパミド(三菱ガス化学(株)製「MXナイロン S6001」、メタキシリレンジアミンとアジピン酸からなるポリアミド樹脂、相対粘度=2.1、水分0.03重量%、末端アミノ基濃度30μ当量/g、末端カルボキシル基濃度75μ当量/g、以下「ポリアミド樹脂I」と称す)45重量%、ナイロン12(宇部興産(株)製、UBE3030XA、末端アミノ基濃度22μ当量/g、末端カルボキシル基濃度51μ当量/g、相対粘度2.2)55重量%からなる混合組成物100重量部と、脂肪族ポリカルボジイミド化合物(日清紡績(株)製「カルボジライトLA−1」、以下「ポリカルボジイミド化合物I」と称す)0.7重量部とをドライブレンドした後、得られた熱可塑性樹脂組成物を秤量フィーダーにて6kg/hrの速度で、シリンダー径37mm、逆目エレメントによる滞留部を有する強練りタイプのスクリューをセットした二軸押出機に供給した。シリンダー温度270℃、スクリュー回転数100rpmの条件で溶融混練を行い、溶融ストランドを冷却エアーにて冷却、固化した後、ペレタイズ化して熱可塑性樹脂組成物1のペレットを製造した。
次に、2台の押出機、フィードブロック、Tダイ、冷却ロール、引き取り機等からなる多層フィルム製造装置を用いて、第1の押出機から上記の熱可塑性樹脂組成物1を、第2の押出機から上記のナイロン12を共押出し、熱可塑性樹脂組成物層(100μm)/ナイロン12層(100μm)の層構成を有する2種2層の多層フィルムを製造した。得られた多層フィルムの評価結果を表1に示す。
実施例1において、ポリアミド樹脂I:60重量%とナイロン12:40重量%、ポリカルボジイミド化合物I:1重量部からなるポリアミド樹脂組成物を使用した以外は、実施例1と同様にして多層フィルムの作製を行った。得られた多層フィルムの評価結果を表1に示す。
実施例1において、ナイロン12をナイロン11(ATOFINA製「Rilsan BESVOA FDA」、末端アミノ基濃度10μ当量/g、末端カルボキシル基濃度143μ当量/g、相対粘度2.3)とした以外は、実施例1と同様にして多層フィルムの作製を行った。得られた多層フィルムの評価結果を表1に示す。
ポリアミド樹脂Iを秤量フィーダーにて1.2kg/hrの速度でシリンダー径20mmのTダイ付き二軸押出機に供給した。シリンダー温度260℃、スクリュー回転数80rpmの条件で溶融混練を行った後、Tダイを通じてフィルム状物を押出し、2.7m/minの速度で引き取りながら70℃の冷却ロール上で固化し、厚さ100μmの単層フィルムを作製した。結果を表1に示す。
実施例1において、ポリアミド樹脂Iを用いずにナイロン12のみを二軸延伸機に供給した以外は、比較例1と同様にして単層フィルムの作製を行った。結果を表1に示す。
実施例1において、第1の押出機からポリアミド樹脂Iを、第2の押出機からナイロン12を共押出し、ポリアミド樹脂I(100μm)/ナイロン12層(100μm)の層構成を有する2種2層の多層フィルムを製造した。得られた多層フィルムの評価結果を表1に示す。
Claims (6)
- 少なくとも(I)ジアミン構成単位の70モル%以上がメタキシリレンジアミンに由来し、ジカルボン酸構成単位の70モル%以上が炭素数4〜20のα,ω−直鎖脂肪族ジカルボン酸に由来するポリアミド樹脂(a−1)と、ナイロン11及び/又はナイロン12(a−2)からなり、(a−1)成分と(a−2)成分の合計量に対して(a−1)成分が5〜95重量%、(a−2)成分が95〜5重量%であるポリアミド樹脂組成物(A)100重量部に対して、分子中に2個以上のカルボジイミド基を有するカルボジイミド化合物(B)0.1〜10重量部を含有する熱可塑性樹脂組成物層と、
(II)ナイロン11及び/又はナイロン12からなるポリアミド樹脂層を有することを特徴とする積層体。 - ポリアミド樹脂(a−1)のジカルボン酸構成単位の30モル%以下がイソフタル酸に由来する請求項1に記載の積層体。
- カルボジイミド化合物(B)が脂肪族または脂環式ポリカルボジイミド化合物である請求項1に記載の積層体。
- 前記(I)層及び(II)層が共押出成形されてなる請求項1に記載の積層体。
- 請求項1に記載の積層体を使用した燃料チューブ。
- 前記(II)層が、最内層に配置されてなる請求項5に記載の燃料チューブ。
