Abstract
【解決手段】筒内直接噴射式内燃機関であって、ピストン上死点位置を変更することにより機関圧縮比を可変制御する可変圧縮比機構と、目標圧縮比に比べて実際の圧縮比が高い場合には、吸気行程噴射と圧縮行程噴射とを組み合わせた燃料噴射を行う燃料噴射制御手段14と、を備え、燃料噴射制御手段14は実際の圧縮比の低下に応じて圧縮行程噴射の噴射開始時期を遅角させる。

Description
また、吸入空気量の変化量を逐次算出しておき、この変化量に基づいて制御対象である気筒の吸入空気量を演算することや、吸気管圧力と吸気弁閉時期とに基づいて予測することも可能である。
(1)筒内直接噴射式内燃機関であって、ピストン上死点位置を変更することにより機関圧縮比を可変制御する可変圧縮比機構と、目標圧縮比に比べて実際の圧縮比が高い場合には、吸気行程噴射と、圧縮行程噴射とを組み合わせた燃料噴射を行う燃料噴射制御手段と、を備え、実際の圧縮比の低下に応じて圧縮行程噴射の噴射開始時期を遅角させるので、過渡状態においてもピストン3に対する燃料噴霧の相対的な位置関係を目標通りに保つことができる。これにより、燃料噴霧がピストン冠面と強くあたり跳ね上がった燃料がシリンダボア壁に付着したり、キャビティ17から燃料噴霧がこぼれたりすることを防止し、未燃HCの排出を抑制することができる。

Claims (6)
- 筒内に燃料を噴射する筒内直接噴射式内燃機関であって、
ピストン上死点位置を変更することにより機関圧縮比を可変制御する可変圧縮比機構と、
目標圧縮比に比べて実際の圧縮比が高い場合には、吸気行程噴射と圧縮行程噴射とを組み合わせた燃料噴射を行う燃料噴射制御手段と、
を備え、
前記燃料噴射制御手段は圧縮比の低下に応じて前記圧縮行程噴射の噴射開始時期を遅角させることを特徴とする筒内直接噴射式内燃機関。 - 前記燃料噴射制御手段は、前記吸気行程噴射の燃料噴射量を、当該噴射による燃料混合気がプレイグニッションを生じないような燃料噴射量に制限するとともに、前記圧縮行程噴射の噴射終了時期を、スモーク限界時期より遅角側にならないように制限することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の筒内直接噴射式内燃機関。
- 前記燃料噴射制御手段は、前記吸気行程噴射と圧縮行程噴射の合計の燃料噴射量が目標噴射量に対して不足する場合に、不足する分を前記吸気行程噴射および圧縮行程噴射とは別に吸気下死点付近で噴射することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の筒内直接噴射式内燃機関。
- 前記燃料噴射制御手段は、前記吸気行程噴射と圧縮行程噴射の合計の燃料噴射量が目標噴射量に対して不足する場合に、不足する分を膨張行程の後期に噴射することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の筒内直接噴射式内燃機関。
- 前記燃料噴射制御手段は、機関負荷に応じた基本噴射量と、基本噴射量に基づく空燃比がリーンになる場合に空燃比を理論空燃比とするための追加噴射量と、を求め、
前記吸気行程噴射と圧縮行程噴射の合計の燃料噴射量が、機関負荷に応じた前記基本噴射量をカバーすることができないときに、吸気行程噴射の噴射量と圧縮行程噴射の噴射量を上限の噴射量に一致させるとともに、
追加噴射量があるときには、前記追加噴射量の燃料噴射を膨張行程の後期に行い、
追加噴射量がないときには、吸気行程噴射と圧縮行程噴射の合計の燃料噴射量がカバーできなかった基本噴射量の残り分を、前記吸気行程噴射および圧縮行程噴射とは別に設けた吸気下死点付近の噴射により噴射することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の筒内直接噴射式内燃機関。 - 前記機関負荷に応じた基本噴射量は、吸入空気量に応じた空燃比が理論空燃比よりリッチになる場合、空燃比が理論空燃比となるように制限されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の筒内直接噴射式内燃機関。
