Abstract

Description
アノードは、コーニング15Ω/cm2(1200Å)ITOガラス基板を50mm×50mm×0.7mmサイズに切って、イソプロピルアルコールと純水の中でそれぞれ5分間超音波洗浄した後、30分間UVオゾン洗浄して使用した。
リチウムキノレート50重量部とAlq3 50重量部とを真空共蒸着して電子輸送層を形成したことを除いては、実施例1と同じ方法によって実施して有機発光素子を完成した。
第1及び第2正孔注入層、ETL共蒸着構造を利用したことを除いては、実施例1と同じ方法によって実施して有機発光素子を完成した。

前記発光層と前記第2電極との間に位置した電子輸送層とを備える有機発光素子であって、

- 前記第1正孔注入物質及び前記第2正孔注入物質は、それぞれ独立的に、銅フタロシアニン、1,3,5−トリカルバゾリルベンゼン、4,4’−ビスカルバゾリルビフェニル、ポリビニルカルバゾール、m−ビスカルバゾリルフェニル、4,4’−ビスカルバゾリル−2,2’−ジメチルビフェニル、4,4’,4’’−トリ(N−カルバゾリル)トリフェニルアミン(TCTA)、4,4’,4’’−トリス(3−メチルフェニルアミノ)トリフェニルアミン(m−MTDATA)、1,3,5−トリ(2−カルバゾリルフェニル)ベンゼン、1,3,5−トリス(2−カルバゾリル−5−メトキシフェニル)ベンゼン、ビス(4−カルバゾリルフェニル)シラン、N,N’−ビス(3−メチルフェニル)−N,N’−ジフェニル−[1,1−ビフェニル]−4,4’ジアミン(TPD)、N,N’−ジ(ナフタレン−1−イル)−N,N’−ジフェニルベンジジン(α−NPD)、N,N’−ジフェニル−N,N’−ビス(1−ナフチル)−(1,1’−ビフェニル)−4,4’−ジアミン(NPB)、ポリ(9,9−ジオクチルフルオレン−co−N−(4−ブチルフェニル)ジフェニルアミン)(TFB)またはポリ(9,9−ジオクチルフルオレン−co−ビス−N,N−フェニル−1,4−フェニレンジアミン(PFB)からなる群から選択された一つであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記第1正孔注入層と前記第2正孔注入層との厚さの比は、1:99ないし1:9であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記金属酸化物の含有量は、電子輸送物質100重量部を基準として30ないし60重量部であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記電子輸送物質は、電子移動度が電場800〜1000(V/cm)1/2で10−8cm2/Vs以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記金属化合物及び電子輸送物質を含む電子輸送層を第1電子輸送層として含み、また前記第1電子輸送層以外に他の第2電子輸送層をさらに備え、前記第2電子輸送層は第2電子輸送物質を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機発光素子。
- 第2電子輸送物質は、電子移動度が電場800〜1000(V/cm)1/2で10−8cm2/Vs以上であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記第2電子輸送物質は、電場800〜1000(V/cm)1/2で10−3ないし10−5cm2/Vsの電子移動度を持つことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記第1電子輸送層と前記第2電子輸送層との厚さの比は、1:1ないし1:2であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記素子は、正孔注入層、正孔輸送層、電子阻止層、発光層、正孔阻止層、電子輸送層及び電子注入層からなる群から選択された一つ以上の層をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記素子は、第1電極/正孔輸送層/発光層/電子輸送層/第2電極、第1電極/正孔注入層/正孔輸送層/発光層/電子輸送層/電子注入層/第2電極または第1電極/正孔注入層/正孔輸送層/発光層/正孔阻止層/電子輸送層/電子注入層/第2電極の構造を持つことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機発光素子。
