Abstract
【解決手段】ベルト20の一方の端部21をフィンガー状にすると共に、他方の端部22を一方の端部21に相補的なフィンガー状にする。これら両端部21、22の端面同士を突き合わせる。その突き合わせ部分Bを、側壁11Bと可動部材12とによってベルト幅方向に挟圧する。その挟圧した状態で、突き合わせ部分Bに、ベルトの厚さ方向に超音波振動を与えて両端部21、22を接合する。

Claims (6)
- 第1のベルト端部と、第2のベルト端部とを継ぎ合わせて継合ベルトを得る方法において、
前記第1のベルト端部の端面は、少なくとも一部がベルト幅方向に対して傾き、又は直交する面に形成されると共に、前記第2のベルト端部の端面は前記第1のベルト端部に対して相補的な形状を有しており、
前記第1及び第2のベルト端部の両端面を突き合わせ、その突き合わせ部分をベルト幅方向に挟圧すると共に、ベルト厚さ方向に超音波振動させることにより加熱溶融して熱融着させることを特徴とする方法。 - 第1のベルト端部は、少なくとも一部が突出して凸部に形成され、第2のベルト端部に前記凸部に対して相補的な形状を有する凹部が形成されると共に、前記凸部に前記凹部を嵌め込むことにより前記両端面を突き合わせ、
前記凸部の外周壁が前記幅方向に対して傾き、又は直交する面を構成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記凸部は、先端に向うに従って細幅に形成され、又は矩形に形成されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記第1のベルト端部は、前記凸部が複数突出しフィンガー状に形成されると共に、前記第2のベルト端部は前記第1のベルト端部に対して相補的な形状のフィンガー状に形成されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- ベース部と、そのベース上面に設けられた壁部と、前記ベース上面において前記壁部に対向するように配置された可動部とを備える加圧型を用意し、前記ベース上面の前記壁部と可動部の間に前記突き合わせ部分を載置し、前記可動部を前記壁部に近づくように変位させ、前記可動部と前記壁部によって前記突き合わせ部分を挟圧することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1のベルト端部はベルトの一方の端部であって、前記第2のベルト端部は前記ベルトの他方の端部であって、前記継合ベルトは無端状ベルトであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
