[0028]湾曲し又は平坦な末端のプロファイルを有するエネルギー導入体は、先に説明したエネルギー導入体と同一の各種の部品の幾何学的形態にて使用するのに適している。円形のエネルギー導入体の継手を保持する簡単な部品の設計の例は、図6に示されており、ここで、図6Aには、円形の継手経路20aを有する部品20、21が示されており、図6Bには、矩形の継手経路30aを有する部品30が示されている。その双方の実施の形態において、継手経路内のエネルギー導入体は、第一の部品20又は30と一体的であり、第二の部分21又は31は、平坦な合わさり面を保持している。

前記第一及び第二の熱可塑性プラスチック部品を超音波溶接するステップであって、更に、前記エネルギー導入体の突き出し方向に対し平行な方向に向けて少なくとも前記第一の部品を振動させつつ、前記第一及び第二の部品を互いに押し付けることにより、前記超音波溶接を行うステップとを備える、超音波溶接方法。
(形態2) 形態1に記載の超音波溶接方法において、前記導入体が係合すべき面に対して直角な方向に向けて、前記エネルギー導入体を通る長手方向面は、前記導入体の末端に湾曲したプロファイルを有する、超音波溶接方法。
(形態3) 形態1に記載の超音波方法において、前記湾曲したプロファイルは、円の一部分である、超音波方法。
(形態4) 形態3に記載の超音波方法において、前記円の中心は、前記第一の熱可塑性プラスチック部品の面と実質的に一致し、該面から前記エネルギー導入体が突出する、超音波溶接方法。

前記導入体は、前記湾曲したプロファイルの両端に結合された一対の実質的に平坦な側壁を含み、該実質的に平坦な側壁は、前記第二の熱可塑性プラスチック部品に結合すべき前記第一の熱可塑性プラスチック部品に向けて前記湾曲したプロファイルから伸びるにつれて、互いに分岐するようにした、超音波溶接方法。
(形態7) 形態2に記載の超音波溶接方法において、前記湾曲したプロファイルの最大幅は、前記エネルギー導入体を通る前記長手方向断面の最大幅の少なくとも1/2である、超音波溶接方法。
(形態8) 形態2に記載の超音波溶接方法において、前記湾曲したプロファイルは、前記エネルギー導入体の末端にて少なくとも0.20mmの曲率半径を有する、超音波溶接方法。
(形態9) 形態1に記載の超音波溶接方法において、前記エネルギー導入体は、モールド内にて形成され、該モールド内の、該エネルギー導入体を形成するキャビティがボールエンドフライス加工により形成される、超音波溶接方法。
(形態10) 形態1に記載の超音波溶接方法において、前記導入体が係合すべき面に対して直角な方向に向けて、前記エネルギー導入体を通る長手方向断面は、実質的に平坦な末端と、該実質的に平坦な末端の両端に結合された一対の実質的に平坦な側壁とを有し、前記実質的に平坦な側壁は、前記第二の熱可塑性プラスチック部品に結合すべき前記第一の熱可塑性プラスチック部品の面に向けて、前記末端から伸びるとき、互いに分岐するようにした、超音波溶接方法。
(形態11) 形態10に記載の超音波溶接方法において、前記斜角を付したコーナ部は、前記実質的に平坦な末端を前記実質的に平坦な側壁に結合する、超音波溶接方法。
(形態12) フィルム又は布地を剛性の熱可塑性プラスチック部品に結合する超音波溶接方法において、
フィルム又は布地を前記剛性の可塑性プラスチック部品の少なくとも1つの面にて少なくとも1つのエネルギー導入体を形成するステップであって、該エネルギー導入体は、前記剛性の熱可塑性プラスチック部品の前記面から前記フィルム又は布地の対向した面に向けて突き出し、前記エネルギー導入体の端部分は、前記フィルム又は布地が前記剛性の熱可塑性プラスチック部品と係合する状態とされたとき、前記フィルム又は布地と最初に係合する湾曲した面を有する前記エネルギー導入体を形成するステップと、
更に、前記エネルギー導入体の突き出し方向と平行な方向に向けて少なくとも前記剛性の熱可塑性プラスチック部品又は布地を振動させる間に、前記フィルム又は布地及び前記剛性の熱可塑性プラスチック部品を共に押し付けることにより、前記フィルム又は布地を前記剛性の熱可塑性プラスチック部品に超音波溶接するステップとを備える、方法。
(形態13) 形態12の方法において、前記フィルム又は布地は、前記剛性の熱可塑性プラスチック部品に接着されない材料にて出来た剛性の面上にて支持される、方法。
(形態14) 第一及び第二の熱可塑性プラスチック部品を結合する超音波溶接システムにおいて、
前記第一の熱可塑性プラスチック部品の少なくとも1つの面から突き出す少なくとも1つのエネルギー導入体を有する第一の熱可塑性プラスチック部品と、
前記エネルギー導入体に対向し且つ前記第一の熱可塑性プラスチック部品の前記面に溶接される第二の熱可塑性プラスチック部品であって、前記第一の熱可塑性プラスチック部品の前記面から、前記エネルギー導入体が突き出す前記第二の熱可塑性プラスチック部品と、
前記エネルギー導入体の突き出し方向に対して平行な方向に向けて少なくとも前記第一の部分を振動させつつ、前記第一及び第二の部品を共に加圧することにより、前記第一及び第二の熱可塑性プラスチック部品を超音波にて溶接する装置と、を備え、
前記エネルギー導入体の末端部分は、前記第一及び第二の熱可塑性プラスチック部品が互いに係合状態とされたとき、前記第二の熱可塑性プラスチック部品の前記対向した面と最初に係合する湾曲した面を有する、超音波溶接システム。
(形態15) フィルム又は布地を剛性の熱可塑性プラスチック部品に結合する超音波溶接システムにおいて、
前記剛性の熱可塑性プラスチック部品の少なくとも1つの面から突き出す少なくとも1つのエネルギー導入体を有する前記剛性の熱可塑性プラスチック部品と、
前記エネルギー導入体に対向し且つ前記剛性の熱可塑性プラスチック部品に溶接されるフィルム又は布地であって、前記剛性の熱可塑性プラスチック部品から前記エネルギー導入体が突き出す前記フィルム又は布地と、
前記エネルギー導入体の突き出し方向に対して平行な方向に向けて前記剛性の熱可塑性プラスチック部品及び前記フィルム又は布地の少なくとも一方を振動させつつ、前記フィルム又は布地及び前記剛性の熱可塑性プラスチック部品を互いに押し付けることにより、前記フィルム又は布地を前記剛性の熱可塑性プラスチック部品に対して超音波にて溶接する装置と、を備え、前記エネルギー導入体の末端部分は、前記剛性の熱可塑性プラスチック部品が前記フィルム又は布地と係合する状態とされたとき、前記対向したフィルム又は布地と最初に係合する湾曲した面を有する、超音波溶接システム。
(形態16) 形態15に記載の方法において、前記フィルム又は布地は、前記剛性の熱可塑性プラスチック部品に接着されない材料にて出来た剛性の面上にて支持される、方法。
Claims (12)
- 第一及び第二の熱可塑性プラスチック部品(10、20)を結合する超音波溶接方法において、
第一の熱可塑性プラスチック部品(10)の少なくとも1つの面の一体部分として少なくとも1つのエネルギー導入体(10a−10e)を形成するステップであって、該エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)は、第二の熱可塑性プラスチック部品(20)の対向した面に向けて前記第一の熱可塑性プラスチック部品(10)の前記面から突き出し、エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)の端部分は突出状の湾曲した面を有し、これにより前記第一及び第二の熱可塑性プラスチック部品(10、20)が互いに係合状態とされたとき、前記突出状の湾曲した面の中央部分が前記対向した面と最初に係合する、前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)の形成ステップと、
前記第一及び第二の熱可塑性プラスチック部品(10、20)を超音波溶接するステップであって、該超音波溶接するステップは、
前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)の突き出し方向に対し平行な方向に向けて少なくとも前記第一の熱可塑性プラスチック部品を振動させる間に、前記第一及び第二の熱可塑性プラスチック部品(10、20)をサーボ駆動の超音波プレスを使用して互いに押し付けるステップであって、前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)と、その上に該エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)が形成された前記第1の熱可塑性プラスチック部品の前記隣接する表面とを溶融させるようにして、前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)が係合すべき面に対して直角な方向に向けて前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)を通る長手方向面が前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)の末端に湾曲したプロファイルを有し、前記湾曲したプロファイルが前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)の末端にて少なくとも0.20mmの曲率半径を有する、前記押し付けるステップと、
前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)の初期溶接まで前記振動の開始に続く前記超音波プレスの動作を中断させた後に前記第一及び第二の熱可塑性プラスチック部品(10、20)を互いの方へ前進させるステップであって、中断動作の後に超音波溶接をしている間の力や速度を迅速に変更させるための前記サーボ駆動の超音波プレスを使用して最適な溶接強度を備える均一で適合性のある溶接継手を形成する、前記前進させるステップと、を含む前記超音波溶接を行うステップと、
を備える、超音波溶接方法。 - 請求項1に記載の超音波溶接方法において、前記湾曲したプロファイルは、円の一部分である、超音波溶接方法。
- 請求項2に記載の超音波溶接方法において、前記円の中心は、前記第一の熱可塑性プラスチック部品(10)の面と実質的に一致し、該面から前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)が突出する、超音波溶接方法。
- 請求項2に記載の超音波溶接方法において、前記円の中心は、前記第一の熱可塑性プラスチックの面から離間されており、該面から、前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)の突き出し方向と反対の方向に向けて、前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)が突出する、超音波溶接方法。
- 請求項2に記載の超音波溶接方法において、前記円の中心は、前記第一の熱可塑性プラスチックの面から離間されており、該面から、前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)の突き出し方向と同一の方向に向けて、前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)が突出し、
前記導入体は、前記湾曲したプロファイルの両端に結合された一対の実質的に平坦な側壁を含み、該実質的に平坦な側壁は、前記第二の熱可塑性プラスチック部品に結合すべき前記第一の熱可塑性プラスチック部品(10)に向けて前記湾曲したプロファイルから伸びるにつれて、互いに分岐するようにした、超音波溶接方法。 - 請求項1に記載の超音波溶接方法において、前記湾曲したプロファイルの最大幅は、前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)を通る前記長手方向断面の最大幅の少なくとも1/2である、超音波溶接方法。
- 請求項1に記載の超音波溶接方法において、前記湾曲したプロファイルは、前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)の末端にて少なくとも0.20mmの曲率半径を有する、超音波溶接方法。
- 請求項1に記載の超音波溶接方法において、前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)は、モールド内にて形成され、該モールド内の、該エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)を形成するキャビティがボールエンドフライス加工により形成される、超音波溶接方法。
- フィルム又は布地を剛性の熱可塑性プラスチック部品に結合する超音波溶接方法において、
フィルム又は布地を前記剛性の可塑性プラスチック部品の少なくとも1つの面の一体部分として少なくとも1つのエネルギー導入体(10a−10e)を形成するステップであって、該エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)は、前記剛性の熱可塑性プラスチック部品の前記面から前記フィルム又は布地の対向した面に向けて突き出し、前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)の端部分は突出状の湾曲した面を有し、これにより前記フィルム又は布地が前記剛性の熱可塑性プラスチック部品と係合する状態とされたとき、前記突出状の湾曲した面の中央部分が前記フィルム又は布地と最初に係合する前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)を形成するステップと、
前記第一及び第二の熱可塑性プラスチック部品(10、20)を超音波溶接するステップであって、該超音波溶接するステップは、
前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)の突き出し方向に対し平行な方向に向けて少なくとも前記剛性の熱可塑性プラスチック部品又はフィルム又は布地を振動させる間に、前記フィルム又は布地及び剛性の熱可塑性プラスチック部品をサーボ駆動の超音波プレスを使用して共に押し付けるステップであって、前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)と、その上に該エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)が形成された前記剛性の熱可塑性プラスチック部品の前記隣接する表面とを溶融させるようにして、前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)が係合すべき面に対して直角な方向に向けて前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)を通る長手方向面が前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)の末端に湾曲したプロファイルを有し、前記湾曲したプロファイルが前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)の末端にて少なくとも0.20mmの曲率半径を有する、前記押し付けるステップと、
前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)の初期溶接まで前記振動の開始に続く前記超音波プレスの動作を中断させた後に前記第一及び第二の熱可塑性プラスチック部品(10、20)を互いの方へ前進させるステップであって、中断動作の後に超音波溶接をしている間の力や速度を迅速に変更させるための前記サーボ駆動の超音波プレスを使用して最適な溶接強度を備える均一で適合性のある溶接継手を形成する、前記前進させるステップと、を含む前記超音波溶接をするステップと、

- 第一及び第二の熱可塑性プラスチック部品(10、20)を結合する超音波溶接方法において、
第一の熱可塑性プラスチック部品(10)の少なくとも1つの面の一体部分として少なくとも1つのエネルギー導入体(10d)を形成するステップであって、該エネルギー導入体(10d)は、第二の熱可塑性プラスチック部品(20)の対向した面に向けて前記第一の熱可塑性プラスチック部品(10)の前記面から突き出し、エネルギー導入体(10d)の端部分は台形表面を有し、これにより第一及び第二の熱可塑性プラスチック部品(10、20)が互いに係合状態とされたとき、前記台形表面の中央部分が、前記対向した面と最初に係合する、前記エネルギー導入体(10d)の形成ステップと、
前記第一及び第二の熱可塑性プラスチック部品(10、20)を超音波溶接するステップであって、該超音波溶接するステップは、
前記第一の部品を前記エネルギー導入体(10d)の突き出し方向に対し平行な方向に向けて少なくとも振動させる間に、前記第一及び第二の熱可塑性プラスチック部品(10、20)をサーボ駆動の超音波プレスを使用して互いに押し付けるステップであって、前記エネルギー導入体(10d)と、その上に該エネルギー導入体(10d)が形成された前記第1の熱可塑性プラスチック部品の前記隣接する表面とを溶融させるようにして、前記エネルギー導入体(10d)が当該エネルギー導入体(10d)の末端に先端の尖っていないプロファイルを有する、前記押し付けるステップと、
前記エネルギー導入体(10a−10e)の初期溶接まで前記振動の開始に続く前記超音波プレスの動作を中断させた後に前記第一及び第二の熱可塑性プラスチック部品(10、20)を互いの方へ前進させるステップであって、中断動作の後に超音波溶接をしている間の力や速度を迅速に変更させるための前記サーボ駆動の超音波プレスを使用して最適な溶接強度を備える均一で適合性のある溶接継手を形成する、前記前進させるステップと、を含む前記超音波溶接を行うステップと、
を備える、超音波溶接方法。 - 請求項11に記載の超音波溶接方法において、前記台形のエネルギー導入体(10d)が、前記エネルギー導入体(10d)の平坦な端面により分離された切頭円錐形のコーナ部を有する、超音波溶接方法。
