Claims (13)
- 単離された核酸分子であって、以下:

(b)配列番号5に示すポリペプチドをコードするヌクレオチド配列;
(c)配列番号1のヌクレオチド142〜ヌクレオチド688に示すヌクレオチド配列に少なくとも95パーセント同一であるヌクレオチド配列であって、コードされるポリペプチドが、動物の体重を減少させる、前記ヌクレオチド配列;および
(d)(a)〜(c)のいずれかに相補的なヌクレオチド配列、
からなる群より選択されるヌクレオチド配列を含む、単離された核酸分子。 - 単離された核酸分子であって、以下:
(a)カルボキシル末端短縮化および/またはアミノ末端短縮化を有する配列番号5に示すポリペプチドをコードするヌクレオチド配列であって、短縮化ポリペプチドが、少なくとも150個のアミノ酸残基を含み、コードされるポリペプチドが、動物の体重を減少させる、ヌクレオチド配列;
(b)配列番号5に示すポリペプチドに少なくとも95パーセント同一であって、動物の体重を減少させるポリペプチドをコードするヌクレオチド配列;および
(c)(a)〜(b)のいずれかに相補的なヌクレオチド配列、
からなる群より選択されるヌクレオチド配列を含む、単離された核酸分子。 - 請求項1または2に記載の核酸分子を含む、ベクター。
- 請求項3に記載のベクターを含む、宿主細胞。
- 真核生物細胞である、請求項4に記載の宿主細胞。
- 原核生物細胞である、請求項4に記載の宿主細胞。
- FGF様ポリペプチドを産生するプロセスであって、請求項4に記載の宿主細胞を、該ポリペプチドを発現するために適切な条件下で培養する工程、および必要に応じて、該ポリペプチドを該培養物から単離する工程を包含する、プロセス。
- 請求項7に記載のプロセスによって産生される、ポリペプチド。
- 前記核酸分子が、ネイティブなFGF様ポリペプチドをコードするDNAに作動可能に連結された、ネイティブなFGF様ポリペプチドについてのプロモーターDNA以外のプロモーターDNAを含む、請求項7に記載のプロセス。
- 化合物が、FGF様ポリペプチド活性またはFGF様ポリペプチド産生を阻害するか否かを決定するためのプロセスであって、請求項4、5または6に記載の細胞を、該化合物に曝露する工程、および該細胞中でのFGF様ポリペプチド活性またはFGF様ポリペプチド産生を測定する工程を包含する、プロセス。
- 請求項1または2のいずれかに記載の核酸分子によってコードされる、単離されたポリペプチド。
- 請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の核酸分子を含む、トランスジェニック非ヒト哺乳動物。
- 化合物が、FGF様ポリペプチド活性またはFGF様ポリペプチド産生を阻害するか否かを決定するためのプロセスであって、請求項12に記載のトランスジェニック哺乳動物を該化合物に曝露する工程、および該哺乳動物中でのFGF様ポリペプチド活性またはFGF様ポリペプチド産生を測定する工程を包含する、プロセス。
